I just purchased a 2011 Subaru Forester 2.5X Premium with the All-Weather Package. I have to say, the customer service is outstanding. I've never been a fan of the "new car buying experience" due to the hagg the All-Weather Package. I have to say, the customer service is outstanding. I've never been a fan of the "new car buying experience" due to the haggling and pressure normally put on me by the sales person to "buy now". At Ramsey Subaru, there was zero pressure from everyone I dealt with. Shane and Josh (the general sales manager) were very easy to deal with. I spent a few days emailing back and forth with Josh and his responses were always extremely quick and professional. I worked with Shane to close the deal and he was fantastic. I paid a great price for my new car. Ramsey definitely has the best prices in North Jersey and possibly the entire tri-state area. Overall, my experience was very positive. I highly recommend this dealership. More
Best car buying experience I've ever had! I never felt any pressure here and the entire staff were so friendly and made me feel at ease. Cars to me are like family and treat them as such. The dealer was a no hassle experience, second best car buying experience that I have ever had. Shane the salesman was not pushy and did the best he could for me in pricing and delivery. The Service Manager, Mr. Soto was excellent took as much time with me as necessary to explain and demontrate some of the optional functions that I had a hard time with eg. bluetooth, Sirius radio etc. Good expience all around. My Husband had a bad experience trying to get a 2011 WRX at another dealer.They realley jerked him around and were rude. My Husband called Ramsey Subaru and they were AMAZING from the get go. The Josh, Clayton, Shane and Jerry were OUTSTANDING to work with! We love cars and get a new one at least every 2 yrs. My Husband used to sell cars so we are always a bit skeptical when walking into a dealership. This was one of our best car buying experiences ever. We will buy many cars from them. More
There are better subaru dealers in the area. We walked in ready to buy a car and somehow found ourselves being questioned multiple times if we were serious about buying a car. When we asked for a price on the trade-in of our car and for an offer on the model we wanted, we waited quite a while to have the salesman come back and question our seriousness in buying a car and would not give us a price on how much they would sell a car for or give a straight answer on a trade-in offer. We left frustrated and offended and instead went to a different dealership where we were treated with respect and given straight-forward answers...and bought a car. If you like playing games and going through a 'car-buying process' go here, if you like straight-forward respectable treatment, go elsewhere. More

I dealt with Shane Chiuchiolo who was very informative and personable. I advised him I was interested in an Impreza, preferably a 2010, for my daughter who is attending college at SUNY Buffalo. We negot and personable. I advised him I was interested in an Impreza, preferably a 2010, for my daughter who is attending college at SUNY Buffalo. I had and overall good experience at Ramsey Subaru. We worked with Clayton who got us they car we wanted at the price we wanted. I never felt pressured. Before finalizing the deal at Ramsey I checked out Bill Kolb Subaru in Rockland (my 2 previous Subarus were leased from them). I had never had a problem there. We spoke to a salesman, test drove a car and negotiated a price. We asked several times for the best possible price/deal. We were told we had it. Also, they did not have the car/color I wanted. They told me it would take up to 10 days to get it... my lease was up in 2 days. So, we said we would think about it and call or come back later. We went to Ramsey and they matched Bill Kolb's "best deal" and added free oil changes. Later that afternoon, Bill Kolb's sales man called my cell, my home and emailed me. I emailed him back and apologized that we could not do business, but another dealer gave me the price I wanted and had the car I wanted on site and this dealer was much closer and convenient to may home. The next night, around dinner time, Bill Kolb called again and began to harass and interrogate me about why I didn't make a deal with them. The manager got on the phone and said if I hadn't picked up the car from Ramsey then I didn't really have a deal. He also said, "what if I give you their price and a check for $1000?" So, now Bill Kolb is trying to bribe me. I said if you could have done such a better deal, you should have done it before I walked out your door, not after the fact. More
