Instead of trying to find the vehicle I wanted, they wasted my time trying to convince me to take something else. Another dealer nearby found the exact vehicle I wanted, at a monthly lease rate $67 a mo wasted my time trying to convince me to take something else. Another dealer nearby found the exact vehicle I wanted, at a monthly lease rate $67 a month LESS than these guys were offering on a Jeep I didn't even want! Horrible customer service. Zero follow-up. Curt receptionist. The dealership itself looks like it's ready to go out of business any day. Everytime I've gone in there (at least 4 times), it's just a bunch of guys standing around at the front desk eating popcorn, cake, or some other daily treat. Not much else going on. More
3rd Chrysler, first with this dealership. very easy transaction. Salesman James Turner was great to deal with. A little too much back and forth with the amount for my trade, the first offer was pretty transaction. Salesman James Turner was great to deal with. A little too much back and forth with the amount for my trade, the first offer was pretty low, but they did finally come through with a decent enough offer to get me to buy the only 200 available at this or any surrounding dealership. Love my 200! More
We purchased a Jeep Compass from this dealership in October 2009. After being sold a Jeep that they did not have a title for, they took it back and "replaced" it with a 4WD Jeep Compass with twice the October 2009. After being sold a Jeep that they did not have a title for, they took it back and "replaced" it with a 4WD Jeep Compass with twice the miles on it. Since then, we have had nothing but problems. We got that car in January (by the time they finally straightened everything out). At the end of June we had to have the control arms replaced, which is covered under warranty, but we were unable to have done under said warranty because 1) the service department falsely listed that the part was damaged by a pot hole (as we, the customers complained - which was not the case), and 2) because Mike (in finance) just switched the extended warranty from the first Jeep to this on - which we've recently learned, from Chrysler, cannot be done. So, for over a year we have been paying or a warranty that we do not have. At this time, it was also requested that an alignment be performed, but the service guys did not do it and I had to return to have it redone. Recently, we have being trying to get everything squared away and have been playing phone tag for THREE WEEKS with people at Jeep in Ramsey who do not return phone calls, making it very difficult to fix. This car that was once our dream car has become a real nightmare, with nothing but problems. I highly suggest that if you are looking for a Jeep you shop elsewhere and that you do not bring your car to Ramsey to be serviced either. More
I purchased a certified 2009 Chrysler 300 elsewhere 3 months ago, but required an andjustment to the driver's seat panel which came loose. Ramsey Chrysler is close to my place of work. I pulled in to t months ago, but required an andjustment to the driver's seat panel which came loose. Ramsey Chrysler is close to my place of work. I pulled in to their service area on a Friday afternoon. Jim inspected the repair which required the installation of a replacement RET Bracket, and told me to bring the car back Monday morning, and that as the car had less than 36,000 miles the repair would be under warranty. The car was repaired and ready by lunch time. Jim offered to have someone drive me to my workplace, but an associate picked me up. I was treated very nicley, and will happily go back to Ramsey Chrysler for service in the future. More
We went to Ramsey Chrysler Jeep Dodge because our lease was ending on our 2007 Jeep Cherokee Laredo. The experience was wonderful from the time we walked through the door until the time we drove away in our new 2010 Jeep Liberty. Frank Sinopoli was our salesman and he was fantastic. He really took the time to explain to us all of our options. He was extremely patient and spent a lot of time with us. In our option he went above and beyond. We would highly recommend Ramsey Chrysler Jeep and Dodge to our family, friends and to anyone who is looking for a superb dealership. More
A great experience at this dealer. We already knew this dealer as we were bringing our Gran Caravan for service for more than a year now. Our lease for our current car getting close to the end, we wanted t dealer as we were bringing our Gran Caravan for service for more than a year now. Our lease for our current car getting close to the end, we wanted to get a new one. We had made some research on the net and had come with a perfect model of A Journey, with the options we wanted. We gave our "wish list" to Frank Sinopoly and really he took our wishes very seriously and showed us a great professionalism. He came with a good pricing of this model. He finally told us that he had a model even better equiped than the one we wanted and for really a few $$ more, this Journey could be available in the same afternoon. we got the car after 3 hours. His support and explanations were great and I must say this was my best experience for buying a car. Five Stars to this dealer and Frank Sinopoli is really a wonderful and very professional Sales Manager. We will certainly recommend this dealer in the future. More
Ignored my request to check for trans problem and insisted on selling me new brakes and rotors all around. Called me a "jerk-off". I later explained to service Manager Rob Hoyt the same thing I h insisted on selling me new brakes and rotors all around. Called me a "jerk-off". I later explained to service Manager Rob Hoyt the same thing I had explained to Steve when I brought the car in:" The car rolls away when left parked on an incline in gear Rob said "Sounds like an issue with the clutch or transmission". He also stated that he took this manager job just months ago and acknowledged that the Service Dept has issues that he needs to work on. After Steve tried to rob me by selling me unneeded brakes & rotors and called me a jerk-ff in the process it got ugly. Even though the manager seems like a stand up guy, I won't be back. More
I just picked up my new 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo yesterday, and I only have extremely positive things to say about my experience at Ramsey Chrysler Jeep Dodge. My salesman, Frank Sinopoli, went abov yesterday, and I only have extremely positive things to say about my experience at Ramsey Chrysler Jeep Dodge. My salesman, Frank Sinopoli, went above and beyond to get me the car that I wanted. Before we ended up at Ramsey CJD, we did attempt to lease through another Jeep dealership that is closer to my home. The offers that we were presented with were just ridiculous! - almost $600 a month with several thousand dollars down is NOT an option for a private school teacher with a limited budget! Mr. Sinopoli worked really hard to find me the perfect Jeep. From the moment we walked into the dealership, Mr. Sinopoli was welcoming and friendly. Most importantly, he was honest and straight forward. At the end of my transaction, I was presented with a car that was clean and was everything that I had hoped for. Based on my experiences at the other dealerships, I was convinced that the Jeep brand had become out of my price range. (I have owned 3 Jeep Cherokees to this point.) Thanks to Mr. Sinopoli and Ramsey CJD, I have a beautiful new Jeep sitting in my driveway! More
Used car displayed a warranty 100% 30 days. Called Mike, supposedly his sales manager, was told he would get back to me after checking into it. Never called back I followed up one more time was again ducked. We are now in the proces of filing complaints with BBB Dept of consumer affairs and anyone else I can find. These are bait and switch crooks unwilling to police, never mind discuss the behavior of their salesman. More
Let me start out by saying that in my 32 years of driving I have never owned anything other than a Dodge/Chrysler/Plymouth vehicle. I started coming to Ramsey Chrysler Jeep approximately a year and a half ag I have never owned anything other than a Dodge/Chrysler/Plymouth vehicle. I started coming to Ramsey Chrysler Jeep approximately a year and a half ago when Bergen County Dodge closed down. The service department is awesome, They get you in and out when they say they will, and if they need the car for the day, they always provide me with a loaner. So when it came time to purchase a new vehicle, the sales manager told me that he would make me feel as comfortable in sales as I do in service. He was right on the mark. It was the smoothest negotiation and transaction that I have ever experienced from start to finish. Anthony Capitti the salesman took great care of me from when I walked in, and followed up with phone calls to see how I liked the car after I left. On the day I picked up my car June 2, 2009 Jack Della Fave guided me to make sure everything went smooth. I will have no problem recommending Ramsey Chrysler Jeep to anyone for sales or service, A truly class A (5 star) organization. More
