pleasantly surprised I had originally gone to Rockland Chrysler looking to lease a 2018 Pacifica to replace my Toyota Sienna. I made it clear that I had a trade in and I I had originally gone to Rockland Chrysler looking to lease a 2018 Pacifica to replace my Toyota Sienna. I made it clear that I had a trade in and I was firm with the amount that I wanted for the trade in which I believe was very fair. I dealt with 4 different people calling me from Rockland and they said they could not meet my trade in request. A few days later I got a call asking me if they met my number would I make a deal and I replied "yes". He said he would check with his boss and get back to me. Never heard from anyone so I went to Ramsay Chrysler in NJ at about 7:30 pm. I told them my story and the price I wanted for my trade in and they agreed without even seeing the car. At 9 am the next morning I brought my trade in car with me, they checked it out and we made a deal for a 2018 Pacifica Touring Plus and 2 hours later I was driving it home. Never thought approval would happen that day So I waited a few days to send review to include car too. My bf and I have a 10y/o minivan that is really showing its age in slow physical breakdown. We have 3 kids between us and one on the way so we decided a better shape vehicle is necessary. I really had my heart and eyes set on a Durango but have seen through research they can be hard to find in our price range that is decent in mileage and age. When we went to dealer, I was looking in the used lot first before going inside and found one that caught my eye. Then Liam showed up with, seemingly, plates in his hands like he was going to do a task but instead stopped to ask if I needed help instead of ignoring me. Good first impression. I told him I wanted to inquire about the Durango that caught my eye. He then invited me inside to discuss the vehicle still putting aside what he was going to do before i came along. After going over the vehicle details, I decided I wanted to do a testdrive before actually applying. Liam is very knowledgeable about the vehicle and if he didn't know an answer, he admits it rather than making up xx like lot of salesmen do. I appreciate honesty especially if possibly spending that much. I LOVE my Durango! I couldn't believe how "new" it felt for a 4y/o car. He was very patient with my tons of questions, we lightened the ordeal by joking a bit and he did as well. Then it was time to handle the actual business end and it was the finance manager's turn, Lee, to deal with us. Mind you, we have very damaged credit but in process of repair but I had very little hope in getting approved or even in a manageable payment...but Lee made it happen. He saw we were sincere in why we wanted this SUV with a baby coming and he even worked in an extended warranty for extra security. The payment is little higher than I'd like but we knew we'd have to compromise to what we want and approved at all. I could not be more grateful to be given a chance and be able to purchase a safe vehicle for my growing family. More
