Wasn't able to meet Dan, but it was nice talking to him on the mail and reaching a deal. Craig, who took me through the process, a great guy, not only did he try to find most of the answers I had question with, he was able to find relevant driving regulation regarding my status which I was not able to find. Despite the regulation meant I had to spend a lot more time at the dealership, I appreciate how they explained the things to me in a manner that only accurate information gets to me and exercise caution when information is not clear. That said, having important personal documents taken away across buildings was a bit scary for me, I hope there would be a better way of doing it. In between, different people had took different documents from me and it took quite a while to get all of them back. But overall, it was a great experience for me. And I got the car I've been wanting to get for a while. More

Disappointed I had a 3 yr maintenance contract that ended 5 days before my scheduled appointment. The person I scheduled with never informed me when my end date wa I had a 3 yr maintenance contract that ended 5 days before my scheduled appointment. The person I scheduled with never informed me when my end date was and I never received any email indicating that I should schedule my last appointment before my contract ended. I feel tricked when they finished the maintenance and told me I had to pay for the services. If they told me beforehand, I would have renewed my contract but not I rather go to another place that I know will be honest. More

Radio Replacement I was having problems with my radio (2016 Outback). Jeep Grand Cherokee On Thursday I put in an inquiry to get a Jeep Grand Cherokee and Scot immediately reached out to me and said he would give us a great deal. Yesterday On Thursday I put in an inquiry to get a Jeep Grand Cherokee and Scot immediately reached out to me and said he would give us a great deal. Yesterday my husband and I ate lunch together and decided we wanted to go for a test drive. I gave Scot a ring and he told us to come right over and he would take care of us. Putnam Auto has a huge selection of the Jeeps we were looking for and Scot was very knowledge, honest, and accommodating right off the bat! He was not pushy and got us a great deal on the car. We checked out a couple other dealerships and Scot was able to get us the best interest rate and price out the door. Most dealerships will give you a high interest rate and will make you work with your bank but Putnam Auto works directly with the San Mateo Credit union so they are able to get you a great deal without having to go through the hassle of taking out a loan through your bank. Steve (I think his name was) set us up with a lifetime warranty on the car- which covers all mechanical and transmission malfunctions which is perfect for us and give us comfort in knowing our car will last a lifetime. We went to other dealerships that did not offer this promotion, and we have never heard of any car that offers a lifetime warranty so we were happy to take him up on it. All the staff there we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend Putnam Auto to anyone. If you are looking to get a car then you should definitely check this place out- and don't forget to ask for Scot! You will not be disappointed! Thank you Scot for an amazing experience, we look forward to seeing you and the crew when we come back in for our maintenance check ups in the future! More

Unprofessional I took my brand new 2018 Subaru WRX for warranty work due to a boost leak. There's a rattle that occurs at 3rd gear around 4 - 6K RPM and it usually h I took my brand new 2018 Subaru WRX for warranty work due to a boost leak. There's a rattle that occurs at 3rd gear around 4 - 6K RPM and it usually happens when I enter the freeway and when the car is fully warmed up after 10 - 15 minutes. Initially, I dropped off the car and Ethan told me there was no problem. After reviewing my dash-cam (when this whole ordeal was done), the technician just drove it around the neighborhood -- never entering the freeway. Thus never experiencing the problem. I had to drive the car with another technician for them to hear/see the problem. I had to comeback the next day. After doing the drive test, I thought that would be the end of my problems. Before I mention the main problem, I called 4 days prior if I could have a loaner car and the rep said they would give me one if the car was to stay there for a day or 2. I come there and they didn't have one. I asked Ethan and he just shrugged me off stating that they didn't have one for the day. He didn't even mention that they had a shuttle service! That really irritated me!!! What kind of B.S. service is that especially when I bought my car there. Back to the main issue. They found a missing bolt on the exhaust manifold and they blamed me for it!!! Ethan, who says he's a WRX STI owner, stated that due to the modifications I did on my vehicle, they couldn't fix my car. He says I voided my warranty because I or someone worked on the engine and that was the reason why the bolt was missing. They had no proof that I worked on the engine itself! He was giving me the run-around on the phone. I specifically asked him on January if I installed an aftermarket exhaust that my warranty would still be honored and he said YES. He didn't mentioned that I had to put back everything into stock for them to perform warranty work. He even stated that because I had aftermarket headlights, they couldn't do any more warranty work. I CALL PURE B.S.! The problem was not connected to my catback exhaust nor the headlights. I've never touched the engine or tuned the car. I even offered to just pay and for them to buy the bolt to avoid the hassle of waiting. He stated that they didn't have it or don't know the type of bolt to get. GODDAM LIAR. I called Fremont Subaru and Carlsen Subaru after his phone call. They both mentioned that the missing exhaust manifold bolt is a common issue on the VA engines. They come loose and as a result, the exhaust manifold gasket is blown and the sensor is burned off. Fremont and Carlsen stated that I was still under warranty and that they would fix the issue with no problem. Also stating that my aftermarket exhaust and headlights have no connection to the problem AT ALL! My '18 WRX is fixed now thanks to the other Subaru shop. I AM NEVER COMING BACK TO PUTNAM SUBARU TO SERVICE MY CAR! B.S. Service from Ethan Mannick. I even mentioned the problem to Miguel Reyes, and he just said sorry. He was my sales rep. Didn't offer anything to help me move forward with the issue. I BOUGHT THE CAR THERE, MAN! More
