Having owned many Lexus's over the years we knew what we wanted and Mo worked hard to help us get a deal we are happy with and believe was fair. We compared other luxury SUV but decided in the end we like Lexus cars and the service they provide during the life of their products (both Newport News and Va Beach have excellent service departments). "Best deal up front with no stress" I was in the market for my 4th Lexus, (first 3 purchased out of state). After 30 years of not buying in Virginia, I decided to contact Charles Barker I was in the market for my 4th Lexus, (first 3 purchased out of state). After 30 years of not buying in Virginia, I decided to contact Charles Barker in Newport News. I spoke with Mohamad Mayassi over the phone, and was invited to come in for a test drive. When I walked into the Dealership, I immediately had flashbacks to previous experiences with other local dealerships, which was not pleasant. After sitting down and talking with Mohamad, I had a strong feeling this man was going to sell me a car. He did not pressure me. I made my needs known and after talking with his GM, I was presented with what turned out to be an unbeatable offer. Not to mention, before accepting the offer, I was in touch with numerous Lexus dealers up and down the east coast looking for a better deal which I did not find, with the exception of a dealership Florida, but the $400 was not worth the travel. No hassel car buying I live 80+ miles from this dealership. This is my 3rd LEXUS purchased from this dealership even though I live within 4 miles another LEXUS dealer. All of the information I needed about my new car was furnished to me either by phone or the Internet. The final purchase agreements were made prior to my driving to Newport News. All I had to do was go down to the dealer, sign the necessary paperwork and drive away with my new car. Everything I wanted was ready and waiting for me when I arrived. It doesn't get any easier than that. Mohamad Mayassi, along with other supporting staff members met and kept all promises and commitments made over the phone. They even thought of a number of miscellaneous things that I would want or need that I had forgotten to mention. More

Best car buying experience ever. I reviewed and searched extensively for my first luxury sedan and the people at Charles Barker simplified the entire process and made things very easy I reviewed and searched extensively for my first luxury sedan and the people at Charles Barker simplified the entire process and made things very easy. My salesman, Patrick "Frenchy" Antar was the best. I didn't get the normal anxiety associated with a car purchase at all. He did everything perfect and after the purchase I found a dent in the front end. I was 600 miles out of town, sent an email and was called immediately. I was reassured it would be fixed the right way and the day I took it in to be looked at they sent me away in a loaner and had my baby in the back being repaired and painted. You don't get that just anywhere. John Gaskins in service was amazing my putting my car in immediately and setting the example for what customer service looks like. He is an absolute professional and lets you see what buying a luxury vehicle gets you. Thomas Cahoon, the general sales manager was also a consummate professional. Anything Patrick needed to get the sale done, he didn't hesitate and actually spent time talking to me and not just treating me as another source of income. As Patrick stated from the beginning of this process, his job as my salesman didn't end with the sale but it only began. He is living up to it and I do look forward to buying my next Lexus from him. Even though I was buying a used vehicle (not a Lexus) he really took the time to make me feel comfortable with my purchase. It wasn't rushed but it was still a quick process once I made up my mind.
