I want to start out by saying I am been buying cars from Pride Hyundai for 19 years. Last year they made a clean sweep of their personnel and the service to customers has gone downhill. Any one that I have dealt with in the past is now gone. This past experience will be my last at Pride Hyundai. My lease was up on my 2019 Sonata and I was buying the car. 6 months before my lease was up I was receiving calls and emails - sometimes twice a day. They were relentless. I finally spoke with Jasmine Taylor and arranged to come into the dealership. I have had another lease that I bought out with no problem. Not this time. I was told I needed a mutli-point inspection. I was charged $150.00 for this service. When I questioned why I was being charged this since Pride Hyundai website states it is a free service. Service said that the website was incorrect. Then I started the financial paperwork - just like you would do with any car you buy. But the kicker to this was both Mike DoCouto and Tom Peasley told me I had to leave my car with the dealership for 2 weeks until the title came in. I have never heard of this scam before! My last lease before this one there was no problem. I was able to keep the bill of sales in the car until I got the title. Pride Hyundai is the only dealership that does this to their customers. I was without a car for 2 weeks! They didn't even offer to drive me home or get a loner. I had to make arraignments to get home. They did suggest I get a rental through my car insurance - NO! I'm wondering if it would have been different if I wasn't a woman? I will not be buying another Hyundai, It was so frustrating More
I have a problem with my drivers seat heater. They have to order the part and it’s s 4 hour job. I take my car for service and got my RI Inspection on the 18th. Even though it is inconvenient but I love the service. . More
