Made agreement on 2011 car,put 250.00 down to hold , requested purchase and sale agreement . Dealer would not put ther offer in writing was going to finance 13,500.00. When i called dealer and said will not finance with them will pay cash they refused to hounor the deal we made. steve said he was going to make money on the finace and if financing with him we had no deal. I thought that kick back from bank's on financeing was not legal.I going to write to Mass. A.G. and ask that they look into this. I was very happy with my buying experience at Pride Hyundai. I came in to test drive a Veracruz, and left with a Veracruz Limited with all the bells and whistles for the price I wanted. My husband and I were driving by Pride Hyundai when we saw a brand new Sonata in front of the dealership. So we decided to stop. As soon as we were out of the car the owners husband greeted us with a smile and a handshake. He was PROFESSIONAL and KNOWLEDGABLE on all the vehicles he sells. As for the price, there were no hidden fees or other cost to this vehicle, ONE STRAIGHT PRICE. We were so satisfied we bought the car that day. Within an hour the car was prep and ready to go with a full tank of gas. As for the Service it was GREAT dealing with Professionals. I quess we will be driving to Florida in our brand new Hyundai Sonata. I thought Florida dealerships had the best service, I was wrong PRIDE HYUNDAI beat them all. Just a short note we have owned every high end car on the market ( Lexus, BMW, Chevy Corvette etc... THIS WAS BY FAR THE BEST SERVICE I HAVE RECIEVED BY A DEALERSHIP. More
I bought a new 2011 Sonata a few months ago and waited to write a review. I wanted to base it on my overall experience which includes sales, the vehicle itself and Pride service. Mike in sales was polite, helpful and NOT pushy at all. He was very detailed in his vehicle knowledge and was nice to work with. The dealership had a family atmosphere as the Anjos family was quite visible greeting people as they passed through the showroom. The Sonata itself is excellent. I purchased the 4 cylinder just before the Turbo came out. It still has enough pick-up and acceleration to keep someone with a heavy foot happy while being very comfortable to drive and to ride in. Recently, I had the vehicle's first service performed at Pride. This included an initial inspection, oil change and to my suprise, a car wash. In addition to these services, I had an automatic starter installed as well. Everything went smoothly and I had my car back within a few hours. Thank you Pride!!! More
Just a quick note of caution to anyone buying from this dealer. DON'T. I have bought many cars, from Honda's to BMW to Mercedes and this was by far the worst. A cmplete unsettling experience. They are dealer from years ago, almost like a swindler. FIRST: They added a $3,950 "dealer location adjustment" to the sticker. A $23k Hyundai Sonata was $27K!! Then the lied about what this actually was. I had to call another dealer from while there (when they weren't looking) to find out about this. It is pure fluff.. They use it as a starting point for unsuspecting buyers and then negotiate down. So, you end up paying MORE than the actual sticker, thinking you got a good deal. DO NOT PAY THIS add on $3,950! Tell them to remove it, be firm, and they will. SECOND: With this dealer work from the INVOICE up. THIRD: on my trade they offered 3k for a 6k kbb value trade. Told me kbb was 4k. Till I showed them on-line it was $6k. Again they flat out lied. They ended up coming up. So, SHOW them the kbb value of your car online and stay firm. They use every trick in the book. Try to confuse you. Throw numbers about. Scribble on a big piece of paper. It's really a complete joke. Hyundai's are everywhere so do yourself a favor and go to another dealer. Oh, and the place looks like a Dunkin' Donuts - a real pit, dirty bathrooms, etc. More
