My Experience with Prestige Pre-Owned This dealership has utterly disappointed me. After working with one of their salesmen for a week and agreeing on a price, they sent me a purchase agre This dealership has utterly disappointed me. After working with one of their salesmen for a week and agreeing on a price, they sent me a purchase agreement and CC authorization for a $5k deposit, I signed and returned both and they took the $5k deposit. I booked a flight for the following day from Indianapolis to Stewart International. 12 hours before the flight departure time at 6:30pm the salesman called me to tell me that they would not be selling me the car and instructed me not to get on the flight. I was told that the vehicle already had a deposit down on it which no one knew about. After waiting the entire next day for a phone call, neither the Sales Manager Freddy Benitez or General Manager Mike Morganstein have called me back or taken my calls. I am disappointed that they appear to be too busy to address customers directly, but I assume they were responsible for the resolution decision which amounted to an apology from another manager, and a great deal on a different car. I understand mistakes happen, but this resolution is not satisfactory to me. I have wasted considerable time, effort and expense making arrangements for this vehicle and after signing a purchase agreement. This all happened a week ago. I thought it was all behind me, but today they called me back asking if I was still interested. "What? Are you kidding me?," I thought. "Of course I am!" But apparently they had not confirmed that it was 100% available again, and about one hour later they called me again and told me that the other buyers were going through with the purchase. After all of the trouble that has been caused thus far, WHY would Prestige call and ask me if I was still interested before confirming that the vehicle was 100% available? I am very disappointed in my interactions with Prestige Pre-Owned and would recommend that anyone considering purchasing from them err on the side of caution, or simply shop at other dealers. More

My experience @ prestige I was originally in search of a Honda CR-V and I went to multiple dealerships to find the right one.. During this experience.. The first dealership I I was originally in search of a Honda CR-V and I went to multiple dealerships to find the right one.. During this experience.. The first dealership I went to would not work with me AT ALL.. The second had poor customer service.. And the third had nothing to offer me. So I tried prestige. Immediately I was sent to Dan who was very friendly and had my best interest in mind. He helped me find a car that was not the CR-V but ended up being one I liked MUCH better and was more fully equipted. He was very patient with me as I came back 3 times before I made a final decision. He and Mike were able to work with me on afordability along with other services. Dan continues to help me with my car after the purchase. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend Dan, Mike, and Prestige to everyone. More

Friendly and efficient My husband and I had been looking for a pre-owned vehicle for a month or two -- We did our due diligence on line, looking at local dealership sites an My husband and I had been looking for a pre-owned vehicle for a month or two -- We did our due diligence on line, looking at local dealership sites and even visited one dealer across the Hudson, all to no avail. Then suddenly this past Saturday, my husband found two vehicles of interest, both on line at Prestige Pre-owned motors, a fairly new facility in Middletown,, N.Y. which we had not looked at before.. We immediately took a drive over (we are within 15 minutes). The dealership is bright and seems to carry only top of the line, well kept pre-owned cars. We weren't "rushed: immediately which was fine as we knew the exact cars we wanted to look at and one was right on the dealership floor. After a few minutes, a very personable and pretty woman asked if we needed help and by then we were ready to speak to someone. We were very happy to have Alexandra Zappier as our sales person. She is very nice, learning the business but knowledgeable just the same and she graciously walked us through the entire process. We chose a 2014 Toyota RAV with only 5,000 miles on it -- it still has the "new car smell" -- and drove off that afternoon, happy with our purchase and very happy to have had Alex help us.. This is a class-act dealership (I'm from New Jersey so am familiar with the Prestige name) and if you are in the market for a medium or high-end car, they have a lot to choose from. More
