The blinker was broken when I test drive the car and they agreed to fix it if I paid for the car by month end. I went to pick up the car and it had not been fixed. They gave me a new car to drive which was one good thing they did. we got the car we purchased about three weeks later. Before I bought the car, I asked about the tires - I was told by the salesperson they they had a couple of years left - the treads were a 7. After we got the car, there were issues with tires. We had to get new tires 2 weeks later and broke tire states the tires were shot. There was also some very expensive work we need to get done or they would not stay in balance. I don’t think the service inspection sent by the sales person could have been for this car. More
My Husband and I leased a car Saturday Dec. 30. Our sales person was Jason Holshoe-he was absolutely the BEST. It took a little time and Jason could not have been more patient with us. He has a 30. Our sales person was Jason Holshoe-he was absolutely the BEST. It took a little time and Jason could not have been more patient with us. He has a great sense of Humor and managed to get us where we wanted to be in a lease. This was New Years eve. he stayed until the final end and walk with us to our new car mind you the store closes at 3:00 and it was past 4:30. We would differently recommend Jason to anyone looking for a vehicle. We also think he should get a big at-a-boy or a raise or both. He offers the best customer service. Sincerely-Mike & Bonnie More

They gave me my lease p I have leased two prior trucks with this dealership and was very happy. For my third lease, it was a totally different story. They gave me my lease price in writing, signed by a manager, and I was all set to lease the truck. Hours before I was to drive down and complete the deal, they changed all the numbers on me and raised my payment by 55% claiming there was a computer glitch! I did not lease the truck. Apologies were expressed by the dealership but no attempt was made to make it right. That’s how they treat established customers I guess. Very disappointed and would no longer recommend them to anyone. More
Service department is terrible at communicating and conveniently forgot to pick me up for shuttle service 3 separate times. Inconvenience to say the least. conveniently forgot to pick me up for shuttle service 3 separate times. Inconvenience to say the least. More
This place has led to one of the WORST situations due to their poor vehicle inspections and selling us a lemon. My boyfriend purchased a car from them after we got in an accident. We barely had it for 2 w their poor vehicle inspections and selling us a lemon. My boyfriend purchased a car from them after we got in an accident. We barely had it for 2 weeks before it has dangerous electrical problems such as Turing off while driving. Took it in to get fixed, this took well over 3 months and when we drove the car for one day it did the exact same thing. This entire experience has been a complete nightmare of lost sleep and may cost us our jobs at our place of employment due to them giving us a garbage vehicle. We had to spend a month on rentals before they gave us a car to drive around. Now we're back jn the same situation and just told to wait as they don't have the ability to do it again yet. Avoid this place at all costs the staff may be nice but the amount of hardship they will inflict if they give you a lemon isn't worth it. More
While looking for a replacement vehicle due to the current market conditions I had expanded my searching to facebook marketplace in different parts of the country while sitting at the laptop one weeke current market conditions I had expanded my searching to facebook marketplace in different parts of the country while sitting at the laptop one weekend night. On a whim I sent a message to a listing near 1,000 miles away that had gone up that day, being the weekend I had absolutely no expectations of any sort of reply or tangible progress, or even high hopes for a random listing from facebook marketplace. At 2 am well outside of business hours while i was sleeping Tee responded that yes the vehicle was available. A few messages were exchanged on the Saturday with Tee stating he would confirm an out of state sale would be possible and we would go from there. Sunday while the dealership was closed Tee messaged that the sales manager had no issue and it was up to the gm he would let me know when they were working and could confirm. He also forwarded a link to get the financing end pushed through soon as approval was given. First thing monday morning Tee messaged that we were good to go, a final sheet of price details was forwarded over, the dealer fees were entirely reasonable, there were no hidden charges or pushes for unwanted fluff. Tee suggested wax undercoating an absolutely vital product in the salted parts of the country at an entirely reasonable price I declined only on the basis that it is something i do myself each year. But the consideration and offer of an actual vital product at a reasonable price was appreciated. A brief phone call was made where a deposit was left and we discussed pickup times. My schedule was best to do the following day if a flight could be arranged. It was Tee’s day off but he offered to come in anyway to facilitate the transaction, he also arranged for me to be picked up from my hotel in the morning 45 minutes from Grand Haven. A flight was booked, hotel arranged, certified check for downpayment picked up. Got home, packed a change of clothes and toothbrush and was off to the airport, I landed around midnight, had an adventure getting to my hotel several miles away and immediately passed out. I woke up to see Tee had checked in on how things went at 1am. In the morning on time as arranged the driver from the Preferred Ford was there to pick me up. A very nice and sociable man he made the 45 minute trip through a storm an entirely pleasant experience. I have bought a lot of cars and had many dealership experiences. Including from dealerships that solely focus on marketing high volume out of state traffic to the point of pay for travel to get you there where you arrive to a traffic jam parking lot with handler employees whose role is specifically to guide each individual of the customer flow to the proper person for their transaction and send you back out the door. This was not that in any way, the process was actually faster and more efficient without feeling like you literally were being pushed out the door so a schedule of other customers could be kept. Upon arriving I met directly with Tee, saw the vehicle, went to the finance room where Tony completed the transaction pleasantly and quickly and was back to the truck to get on the road basically as soon as the temp tag had finished printing. I was utterly amazed at how fast and easy Preferred Ford made the process. Start to finish it was an absolutely fantastic experience beating out that of many other much larger dealerships I’ve worked with. More
I hate to even have to post this but let me start out by saying if I was a man I do not believe I would be having this experience. I bought my car from Tee on March 25th. This was my first car purchase a saying if I was a man I do not believe I would be having this experience. I bought my car from Tee on March 25th. This was my first car purchase as an adult. It was a hard purchase because in the past my Dad had always been with me, asking the right questions & making sure his little girl & granddaughters were in a safe vehicle. He passed 2 years ago. So this time it was my turn to take what he taught me & make him proud. I found the vehicle online & set up an appt since the location is an hour away. When I first arrived Tee laid out the red carpet. The car was sitting out front. I looked over the car & instantly noticed a bulge on the front driver’s tire. Tee informed me they had already ordered a new tire & he had filled the tank. While driving it I noticed the vehicle was shaking quite a bit & Tee again reiterated it was just the tire. We got back & I informed Tee I was very interested in the car but as my daddy taught me I wanted an outside mechanic to do an inspection. Next thing I know Kenny, the Sales Manager approaches me and makes the statement, “I wanted to come over & just see what the hesitation was about purchasing the vehicle. Tee has a issue with not giving off the right impression in some situations & I wanted to be sure there was nothing I could do that would make you feel comfortable about buying today”. I was instantly taken back a bit & it didn’t help Tee expressed offense to his statement asking Kenny to elaborate while I was present. Again I reiterated the same to Kenny about wanting it pre-inspected & a new tire. Kenny made the comment, “Well if gives you any peace of mind I stand by ours cars 100% & if you were to leave here & something be happen after a short time we would take care of you. We have our reputation to uphold.” On March 22nd, I put down a $500 retainer to hold the vehicle until I could get it inspected. The first available appointment with Westside Service in Zeeland was Friday, March 25th which Tee was not happy about stating he had planned to “take the day off”. I was not informed of the documents I would need as proof until 9pm the night before. I arrived, the tire was fixed & Tee was waiting for me to take the car. However, I was not greated in the same warm way and the gas, which I left at 3/4 tank on March 22 with my deposit was now down to 1/3 tank & the phone I deleted that was programmed into the car was back synced. I didn’t flinch much at the gas because I had enough to get to Zeeland & back (barely). I get back & go to finalize the documents but Tee is now on to the next customer. He shuffles me around & then Toney, the business manager eventually just takes me back to finish up. I asked about gas & was told to ask Tee. Not realizing this is something I even had to ask for after purchasing & it obviously being used while I had it held. Tee takes me back to the lounge asking me to give him 20 mins. I waited 1.5 hours with no update only to get in my new car & have less than a half a tank!! So frustrated with my service I debated on complaing but in the end I convinced myself to count my blessings & be thankful for the new car and gas given. 3 days later after getting gas for the first time (work from home) the check engine light is on and I can't start the car. After 20 mins it finally starts so I take it to auto zone to read the code & told it's my turbo senor. I immediately contact the dealership & drove 2hrs round trip the next day only to be told it was my fault after 15 mins looking at the vehicle. Kenny said I let the gas get too low (44 miles to empty) & it triggered the sensor but there is nothing wrong with the car. I argued that didn't make sense but was left with no other option than to leave. The next morning the same issue occurred. I have called and left Kenny messages. I have texted Tee and spoken to him by phone but now no response back from either. More
Sold me a used car. Less than a week and the engine light comes on. Take it in and tell us the exhaust flex pipe is broken which is dangerous. So, either they don't inspect their used cars before the light comes on. Take it in and tell us the exhaust flex pipe is broken which is dangerous. So, either they don't inspect their used cars before they sell them, or they are just trying to scam us. Those are your two options. DON'T BUY A USED CAR FROM THIS PLACE. Completely lost my business.
