This was my first Porsche and with lots of help from John's team, I placed my custom order through Porsche's website and waited for its arrival. It was a long wait, but I enjoyed ordering a car built to my own specifications. My purchasing experience with John and Ray was outstanding and I really enjoyed the in-depth instruction John provided when I picked-up my car. His technical knowledge was impressive and I really appreciated that everyone worked to get me out the door in a timely manner. In particular, I appreciated that one of the service technicians stayed late to make sure that my Porsche Connect was activated and running properly. I love that I purchased this car from my local dealer and I know it will make life much easier when I have questions, or need service. More

Amazing Buying Experience My wife and I just took delivery of a brand-new Porsche Macan from John Bassett at Porsche of Monterey. John is a very detail oriented Porsche fanatic My wife and I just took delivery of a brand-new Porsche Macan from John Bassett at Porsche of Monterey. John is a very detail oriented Porsche fanatic. John knows the brand inside out and walked us through the order process every step of the way with updates as he received them. When it came time for us to pick up our new dream car, John had all the paperwork waiting, hence expediting the process. Hands down most efficient process ever in our experience. John also spent at least an hour going over all of the operational aspects of the Macan with us both as it was a bit to absorb. John then extended his offer of follow up tutorials as needed and said his phone is always on, I believe it. I can't say enough good things about John and the entire experience from start to finish. He's very knowledgable about the details of his used car inventory. I had to wait a short time to meet with the Finance department, and John made sure my friend and I were comfortable before he left to fill up my car. In his follow up email, he let me know that I'm welcome to stop in for a tutorial for my car. John's customer service is second to none, and it was a pleasure to purchase from him. Even though Monterey is a bit of a drive for me, I'll definitely be in touch with him when I'm ready to purchase my next Porsche. More

In putting together the orders and options, John helped at each step by explaining the purpose and function of options to make sure that I got cars that I would ultimately be satisfied with and would enjoy. In negotiating the purchases, John always acted in a straight forward manner and with honesty. That's one reason I have made three purchases from him. When the cars arrived, John went through each with me, explaining and setting up the car options. After delivery, John has followed up with invitations to come back to the dealership to make sure that all is well with the cars, and to answer any questions I might have concerning them. Bottom line, John is a professional with whom it is a pleasure to deal. More
