Service and Sales experience I purchased a certified pre-owned Porsche. Needed to bring in vehicle after a number of concerns, ranging from oil indicator light reprogram, and pot I purchased a certified pre-owned Porsche. Needed to bring in vehicle after a number of concerns, ranging from oil indicator light reprogram, and potential transmission concerns. Primary service staff, who is no longer with this dealership, seemed overwhelmed and unable to keep up. He did not notify customers as to service updates in timely fashion, loaner vehicle not a available when promised, misinformed customer of service bulletin when did not exist, and I had to bring back car multiple times to correct same complaint. Car was not washed at time of pickup on one occasion. Also was told that a new transmission was needed under warranty and petition to Porsche NA was requested, then denied. However, the service tech Paul S. was very friendly and did take time with me, road test also, to explain the transmission issue. I considered purchasing a new vehicle from this dealership, only to discover that they had NO interest in "taking care" of local customers, preferring to sell out of area for a few extra bucks. Instead of coming back to local customers who originally bid/made offers, the manager Aaron Z. sold the car for less than what he was willing to sell it for locally a fews months prior. Very disappointing...profit above all else. Alienating local customers is not a long term successful strategy. Aaron Z. did not seem genuinely interested in hearing feedback regarding the service advisor or service experience. He did not conduct the negotiation for the new vehicle with professionalism; in fact he was argumentative. More

Highly recommended There is no such thing as a perfectly smooth car deal from any dealership on the planet. However after dealing and working with Porsche of Monterey, I realized that there are some deals that are very very close to being perfect. Working with the staff and mr. Miller even after purchasing my vehicle from them makes me wonder why other dealerships don't operate the same? These guys work with me during the negotiation process, worked with me once the deal was done and coming from Las Vegas all the way to Monterey, picking me up from the airport, having the car completely ready with all paperwork signed and ready to go as well, to even after I brought the car home and had questions and concerns afterwards. They took all my calls and handled all my questions and issues as if it were still day number one and they were still trying to sell me a car. Which makes me believe that there are some great car dealerships left on the planet, Porsche of Monterey being one of them. thank you to all of those guys I look forward to purchasing from them again in the future. More
