Despite having documented evidence of issues with my Trunk Control Module, for over 2 years, the Service Manager refused to conduct a repair simpl Despite having documented evidence of issues with my Trunk Control Module, for over 2 years, the Service Manager refused to conduct a repair simply because -He didn't see the problem in person - and was not sure if Porsche would compensate the department for the warranty repair He also mentioned that he needs to protect his job. Pretty disappointing. The sad part is that Porsche Huntington is the one that conducted a repair for the issue in 2024; the issue has not been resolved since, and any responsible repair shop would have reevaluated the repair to find the source of the problem instead of brushing it off as a non-issue. Sadly this is not the first Porsche Service center that has brushed off the issue simply because it couldn't be duplicated in the store. I have videos of the same issue, before and after the "repair initiative " done in 2024. The Service manager also found, through their internal Porsche database, other Porsche Cayennes that had the same issue with intermittent malfunctions of the trunk control module. In those instances the repair and replacement of multiple parts were conducted and the problem ceased to exist. Instead of following this direction to resolving my problem, the service manage elected to refuse to repair my vehicle simply because he did not witness the problem in person; moreover the question was around compensation and job protection. Kind of sad that one is worried about these matters instead of the vehicle diagnostics. More

I have been using Porsche of Huntington for 12 plus years and now 6 cars and 3 if which are high end and Eric the General Manager makes you want to be at the dealership.
