Buyer beware. I was the victim of predatory /lending by Pohanka Toyota in Salisbury. I purchased a 2013 Ford Explorer and after purchasing it discovered the vehicl I was the victim of predatory /lending by Pohanka Toyota in Salisbury. I purchased a 2013 Ford Explorer and after purchasing it discovered the vehicle was purchased at auction and had severe body damage- loss an accident not reported to insurance. The car has never run well and the back hatch was removed and replaced haphazardly- not done by a licensed repair technician. It doesn't close tightly. There is under carriage damage and again repairs done haphazardly. Frame damage and repair is suspected- which if not done by a licensed technician is illegal. More

I was going to get a car here but needed more time to fully think on it since its my first car purchase- i began to get worried that the monthly payments may end up being too costly for us,among a few ot fully think on it since its my first car purchase- i began to get worried that the monthly payments may end up being too costly for us,among a few other things- so the sales manager let us put the car ON HOLD to think about it a bit until the following day, he told us it is FULLY refundable, and told us we are NOT obligated anything if we wish to not continue with the contract/purchase. They are taking forever with the refund. They told us a refund was issued at like, the start of this month, how long will it take? Until the end? Next month??? Not to mention it felt like constant pressuring there, especially when we returned the following day to let them know we won't, and cant, continue the purchase, kept asking why why why, kept showing other cars, had other people join in the conversation, yall dont know what NO is? Yall never had deals fall through? A part from the huge pressuring feeling of the second day (and Lil of first) I truly hope the refund is actually underway and its just taking a bit to process in their system and return to us. It was cash, and it is a lot. Maybe..stay away from here- Oh and like to mention there seems to be miscommunication here, this one person was a bit rude. More
