I was going to get a car here but needed more time to fully think on it since its my first car purchase- i began to get worried that the monthly payments may end up being too costly for us,among a few ot fully think on it since its my first car purchase- i began to get worried that the monthly payments may end up being too costly for us,among a few other things- so the sales manager let us put the car ON HOLD to think about it a bit until the following day, he told us it is FULLY refundable, and told us we are NOT obligated anything if we wish to not continue with the contract/purchase. They are taking forever with the refund. They told us a refund was issued at like, the start of this month, how long will it take? Until the end? Next month??? Not to mention it felt like constant pressuring there, especially when we returned the following day to let them know we won't, and cant, continue the purchase, kept asking why why why, kept showing other cars, had other people join in the conversation, yall dont know what NO is? Yall never had deals fall through? A part from the huge pressuring feeling of the second day (and Lil of first) I truly hope the refund is actually underway and its just taking a bit to process in their system and return to us. It was cash, and it is a lot. Maybe..stay away from here- Oh and like to mention there seems to be miscommunication here, this one person was a bit rude. More

I have dealt with Toyota, in Salisbury, for over a decade and after this fiasco, and I will never go back, neither will any of my family, friends, or co-workers seeing what I had gone through. A clutch replacement is not a small job, I realize that, but it took 2 months for the the job. I had to constantly call for updates and when I did, I would either be hung up on, sent to voicemail, or just plain disregarded. Yes, I got a loaner but being responsible for a vehicle that wasn't mine, for 7 weeks, just made me uneasy. I spoke with the service director, after a week of lack of communication, and was told the service manager would contact me, he never did. The one service advisor was pleasant enough, but clueless. The other was just rude and dismissive from day one. Funny thing was, when I was in the service center, after two weeks, to get answers, there were 2 other customers complaining about the lack of communication. As a manager myself, I would never treat any customer the way I was treated from service center. More

🚫 Unethical treatment and dishonest handling of my signed offer. I came to this Toyota dealership to sell my vehicle, and I was previously given a written, signed offer of $25,000 by one of their s signed offer. I came to this Toyota dealership to sell my vehicle, and I was previously given a written, signed offer of $25,000 by one of their salespeople. I returned with that signed offer and handed it to another rep, who gave it to the manager. Without warning, the manager confiscated and shredded the document — claiming it “belonged to them” and that I should have never received it. When I asked the manager for his name and phone number, he told me he was “Rob Paul” and gave me a number—only for me to later discover his real name is “Ryan DeVage” (Sales Manager) and that the contact info he provided was false. I was stunned — not only was this offer issued to me voluntarily, but I had every legal and ethical right to retain it. When I calmly asked for an explanation, I was met with dismissiveness and borderline hostility. The manager repeatedly insisted it was “their paper” and “their policy,” refusing to acknowledge my rights as a customer. I had to escalate to a higher manager “Kaleb Cline” (General Sales Manager) across the street, who eventually told me to go back and retrieve the document — which, at that point, they claimed had already been destroyed. Only after pressure was I finally handed the paper back. The entire situation was unprofessional, unethical, and deeply concerning. This dealership’s behavior toward me — a serious, respectful customer — shows a total disregard for consumer rights and transparent business practices. Unless management takes accountability and addresses this issue directly, I will be filing complaints with the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) and the Maryland Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division. Customers deserve honesty, not manipulation, especially from a Toyota-branded dealership. More

Extremely disappointed with the service at this dealership. The wait time was unacceptably long, and the service advisor did not apologized or showed any concern for the delay. Completely unprofess dealership. The wait time was unacceptably long, and the service advisor did not apologized or showed any concern for the delay. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful to customers’ time. I arrived to my oil change appointment 15 minutes early and was greeted by (Kyle )one of the service advisors . He seemed very professional so I expected a great service!!! He told me the service would take one hour or less , but it ended up taking over two hours with no updates or apologies. On top of that, they didn’t even wash my car as promised but had greasy fingers Marks on the hood and door handle with dirty disposable floor mat . So I went back and asked about the car wash he acted all surprised and said we can wash it for you ! I gave him the key back and waited for another 15 minutes and no one came to take my car to wash it ! So I asked to get my keys back because I have to go after spending over 2:30 minutes for an oil change . He gave them back to me and acted like whatever . Completely unprofessional and a waste of my time.” More
I will forever share my horrible experiences with Pohanka Toyota and their management. In particular William (Fraud Scheme) Toadvine. This particular manager of Toyota has on more than one occasion been invo Toyota and their management. In particular William (Fraud Scheme) Toadvine. This particular manager of Toyota has on more than one occasion been involved in Fraud schemes including defrauding banks, credit unions, and innocent consumers. Yet Sandy Fitzgerald (the owner) continues to employ this individual in the same space he continues to prey on even knowing the type of person she employs. Widely stated because he owes her quite a bit of money from his joint venture with Pohanka known as "Dream Cars" in Delmar Maryland. So not only did this individual get investigated by the FBI numerous years ago in SC, he then came to Maryland area doing the same thing. Selling vehicles with no title, causing ppl financial ruins. His practices at Toyota and the way customers get treated by him are disgusting. Yesterday I was verbally assault And cursed at over the phone and management thinks it’s actually ok. There is no accountability in that store. There is no way I’d ever do business with this store again. I wouldn’t let them change the air in my zero turn! Go elsewhere. Beware! Just look up William Toadvine and if you’re a local the name Dream Cars should be very familiar. STAY AWAY! I will be reaching out to the licensing agencies for the state that govern the licenses for sales that allow the way they conduct business in regards to financial transactions done by the individual while holding the back ground that he does .
