My local dealers weren't so accommodating. I got a good deal that I was very happy with. Before traveling to pick up my vehicle, I negotiated all the details over the phone and through emails and texts with my sales consultant Davina Vega. It was an extremely easy process. Davina was quick to respond with updated information or answers to my questions. The Finance Manager, Chris Foddrell, couldn't have been nicer or more efficient. Paperwork just takes time, but Chris did it as quickly as possible and didn't drag it out and wasn't pushy on an extended warranty or other add-ons. It took about an hour and a half with the finance department for the sales to complete. The rep that handled the finance provided poor customer service, never apologizing for the delay and making ill department for the sales to complete. However, my experience with the sales rep and manager was positive. *Edited* They reached out to me via phone and text. I texted back about a week later and got no response. I also never received any instructions regarding the finance payments, so I called the finance manager and left a message, and I sent an email to my sales person. I have not heard back. They are essentially no different than any other dealer, except they don’t even call you back. More

Also, be weary of any add-ons they may try to get you to buy into if you’re leasing. They presented me with two packages and made it seem like I had to choose one of those packages because it was those or nothing. Just know the monthly price they quote you is the monthly price you should get. You don’t NEED a package. That could just be me being naive tho. Kimberly was amazing though. She’ll definitely help you out and do right by you without any pressure at all. She just calmly answers questions you may have without being pushy. More
Our last deal with Pohanka Honda. We trade vehicles every 3 years and this isn't our first dealing with this company. But it's the last. They took nearly a month to pay off our 2021 HRV trade leaving us to make a payment on a vehicle we no longer owned. At first their Finance Manager told us we'd have to keep making payments, as it was our responsibility. Then they told us Honda Financial would refund our money. After waiting for that a couple weeks we called the General Manager. He acted as if we should have had a check coming from them already. Not the same attitude as the Finance Manager. We did manage to get most of our money refunded, but it's was a chore. We even had to go to Flow Honda to get the introduction to our New car that we weren't given at Pohanka Honda. Only finding out then our new car self drives.. 1 More
Pohanka Honda of Fredricksburg is not the closest one to my house. But they found the exact vehicle I wanted and got it on the lot within a week. Once I arrived at the dealership I was impressed with the whole outfit. I'm usually a grumpy rater, meaning I can't remember when I gave out max stars for anything. And there was a bumpy ride with the finance group. Initially, they tried to give me an interest rate that was way too high for my excellent credit rating. After I signed all the paperwork and drove home with my new car, I checked into the rate. I reached out and told them it was unacceptable. And they worked with me to reduce the rate by 1.62%. That's thousands of dollars saved over the life of my loan. They could have said, "too bad, you already signed." But they accepted my reasons for being very dissatisfied and worked out a new contract for me to sign. So that gets 5 stars for making it right when they didn't really have to. Also, I bought my new CR-V in just over 2 hours -- fastest ever new car purchase for me. So far, so good with this dealer. I have owned 4 Hondas over the years, all bought from Hendrick in Woodbridge which is walking distance from my house. But Hendrick could not get the car i wanted. Let's see if Pohanka wins my Service business as well - it's a 32 minute drive to Pohanka versus 4 min drive to Hendrick. More

Went to sell my Suburban to Pohanka and met an awesome salesman by the name of Kirk Goddard. Extremely friendly, laid back, without any pressure of a sale. It took my wife and I three weeks to decide what salesman by the name of Kirk Goddard. Extremely friendly, laid back, without any pressure of a sale. My sales person was Eury Estevez and he was fantastic. All of my questions were answered. It was important to me that I not pay for dealer add-ons or any market adjustment fees. I did not. While I wish the dealer was closer, it was well worth the drive. Tim Willis was great and I am very happy with my choice. They also made any adjustments I needed due to Covid. More
I'm hard pressed to discribe how angry and frustrated I an with this company. A $38000 Odyssey I bought at this HONDA dealership developed a transmission problem. With help from the internet I identified the problem. When I called Pohanka's service department to see if this was a known problem I talked to a rude service Manager who told me to bring it in and for $155 he would tell me the problem. I called Ray the Manager of the company and was told that yes there was a problem with the transmission and that it would cost me between $400 and $450. Between being lied to by the service manager and now being told the cost for the repair I decided to get it repaired. $505 dollars later my car was repaired. They even invented a name for the problem they called it a "Judder". No other transmission company could repair the problem because HONDA owned the solfware. I have owned numerous Honda. I will not buy another one. Terrible company, I would give them less then one star of possible. Do not trust this company, in my opinion. More
