What an absolute terrible experience! It is very clear that the salesman we specifically worked with is all about moving on to the next. After texting with the salesman, and asking if I would be by today that the salesman we specifically worked with is all about moving on to the next. After texting with the salesman, and asking if I would be by today to look at the vehicle we then drove an hour and a half to get to Pohanka Honda. After receiving no response from my messages we walked into the dealership to he told by the salesman the vehicle had been sold. Per the salesman “that’s my bad, that’s on me”. No message back confirming the vehicle had been sold. Although we didn’t lock in the vehicle, the decent thing to do would of been to message back confirming that he in fact knew we were coming. After being told the vehicle had been sold, a manager stopped by the front desk and didn’t even acknowledge us. Poor poor business plan. More

No one loves going to a car dealership, and looking for a new car during a chip shortage mad things even less pleasant. We were really dissatisfied with the selection and service in Richmond, so we went up new car during a chip shortage mad things even less pleasant. We were really dissatisfied with the selection and service in Richmond, so we went up the road to Fredericksburg & met with Jim Calvert at Pohanka. It was night and day. Pohanka had a much better selection, and Jim worked really hard to make sure we were happy with the car we got. He beat the price of the Richmond dealerships by $4k and was not slimy or pushy at all. Then he had the car delivered to our home in Richmond at no extra cost. So it was definitely worth the 1 hour trip for a much better experience. More

Kim did everything to make the buying process easy and she knew exactly what to do to make my sister feel completely comfortable. Like I said this is her first new car. What is the point of lemon law if the company can just claim and say that “there’s nothing we can do for you at this time” word for word and then that’s it. Either accept their terms and BS of an offer claim and say that “there’s nothing we can do for you at this time” word for word and then that’s it. Either accept their terms and BS of an offer or try and file a lawsuit but then have a chance of losing because you’re going up against a grand jury who can decided to favor with them. Completely disappointed, angry and everything in between with this whole thing. Especially knowing that they have just recently bought back two vehicles with the exact same issues as mine. NEVER will I buy another Honda, and this was my first experience with buying a Honda. How sad. For the record and for the ones that don’t know I bought a brand new Honda Odyssey and after a week of us having it home all of the problems started and they have yet to be able to fix the issues totaling a number of days over 45 with attempting to fix it and us bringing it in over 9 times.  Under the law of most states, for a vehicle to be considered a lemon, the car must 1) have a "substantial defect," covered by warranty, that occurs within a certain time after purchase, and 2) continue to have the defect after a "reasonable number" of repair attempts (3) More
