Horrible experience. They took a $500 deposit to "hold the car" and then when I changed my mind, they acted like they didn't know what I was talking about. Most people in there were very rude and no More

Dear gbrahimi, Thanks for your review. My name is Alex and I'm the Internet Sales Manager here at this dealership. Part of the job I do here is ensuring customer service whether you buy a car here or not. With that said, I ask that you please contact me so that we can talk about what occurred during your visit. First, let me assure you, we do not charge any "illegal taxes". Collection of taxes is regulated by the government and I can only collect an amount based on what you purchase. Your claim that we charged $8,000 in taxes would assume that your total purchase price was about $90,000. Often, customer choose additional options at the time of purchase such as a warranty, a Lo-Jack, a loss prevention policy, etc. which adds to the final cost of a car. Additionally, the total you see on your finance contract would reflect the inclusion of whatever interest monies are to be paid to the bank. What I'm getting at is that the "total" you see on your contract reflects not only the cost of the car, plus tax. But it also shows additional items YOU CHOOSE, and the total of interest charged by the banks which can be thousands of dollars if your interest rate was high. Please call me so that I can go over your contract line-by-line and explain everything. If there are any discrepancies I promise to fix them. Finally, please know that KG Suzuki is the NYC leader in Pre-Owned Luxury sales because we forge lifetime relationships with our customers. This means that we're not only here to explain your contract to you, but I'll explain options (such as refinancing) that will lower your payment and make you a happy customer.

Dear JimLim, Thanks for your review. My name is Alex, I'm the Internet Sales Manager here at KG Suzuki. You may recall we actually spoke and e-mailed multiple times after you posted. I contacted you in an effort to make things right. In the interest of disclosure, I'm posting my heretofore private responses to you online for public consumption. With regard to a car being online that is no longer here, please understand that as soon as a car is sold, it is taken out of our internal inventory. From there, our updated inventory usually takes 24 hours to be reflected on the Internet sites at which we advertise. This was explained when you first visited and I apologize again for any confusion. As for being forced into a more expensive car, that's simply not true. Not only can I not force you to buy anything but we give every customer the option of waiting a day or two while we arrange a "dealer swap" to obtain the car they are interested in. The fact is, the car we had in stock had more bells-and-whistles and you chose to go with the more feature-rich model. As for the 0% issue: special finance rates come from the factory, not from my dealer. So if I offered 0% for 48 months that's exactly what Suzuki financial was offering. I unfortunately can't make any changes to the terms of their promotional rates and I would never promise a rate or term that was simply not available. During our correspondence I made a lot of concessions and offered a lot of extras in an effort to not only earn your business but get you to change your review to reflect the fact that 1) we tried 2) in the end we made you happy. However, after structuring the deal so as to get you the more expensive car at the monthly cost of the cheaper car, you cancelled your appointment and bought elsewhere. I certainly hold no ill will toward you and wish you the best with your new car, but I was hoping that you would mention all the effort that I and the owner went through in an effort to undo the bad experience you had here. I ask again that you append your review to mention this fact and again offer (as I did when we last spoke) help in the future with any vehicle purposes or general questions you may have. Thanks Sincerely - Alex R.
