We apologize for any misunderstanding regarding the need for you to pay unexpected bank fees. When we quoted your price, we offered you the best possible pricing based on the information you provided. This price was negotiated prior to discovering your credit issues. Unfortunately, it is these credit issues that caused the bank to charge significantly higher fees which we were not able to absorb - as there was no room in the deal to make adjustments for these additional credit related fees. Please note that these fees are collected by the bank, not the dealer. If you have any other questions or concerns or would simply like to talk this out please call me, Jim Green 603.361.2284

This is just it, even you don't seem to understand the situation. We applied for financing on the Thursday we were there. At that time, we were told we had financing through Capital One, we were given the APR and we were told that in order to finance, the bank required us to put down 800 more towards the downpayment. At no time were we apprised of a fee. Then, when I showed up to sign papers and pick up the car, we were not told about the fee. We found out when Rafael pulled out the last piece of paper (literally the last) and gave it to me to sign. It had the price, $800 higher than what we were quoted. Not once over the weekend or that day were we told about the fee. So, your statement that "the price was negotiated prior to discovering your credit issues isn't true." Yes, we discussed the price. But, your guys knew about the fee that night before we left and chose not to tell us and THAT, Mr. Green, is the last straw for me. Why is it so hard for salesmen and sales managers to be up front, transparent and honest? If they had told me then about the fee I might have decided not to buy the car but I wouldn't have been upset with your staff/dealership. I may have decided I could afford it and bought the car. I might have asked them if we could maybe consider something cheaper. I wouldn't have walked away feeling like your guys thought I was dumb enough not to notice a price hike or too intimidated or tired to complain about the totally unannounced fee. Get it?

On top of that, why were we told we had financing through one bank and then on Monday it was a completely different bank? It was explained to me that "Oh no , we didn't say it was Capital One, we said they could match them." That was not what was said. What was said was me asking what bank approved financing and I was told Capital One. It honestly doesn't instill confidence that the staff doesn't know the difference. I told them when I came in that I was already approved by Capital One through a Blank Check and I could use that if necessary. They told me that they were going to apply again for me to see if they could beat the rate. Not once was I given the chance to use the check instead, even though I was already approved for it. Why? Wouldn't this have been cheaper for the dealership? Would this maybe save me money? Your staff deals with this situation all the time, yet no one brought it up?

And, I would call you if I was free during the day, but I work full time and commute an hour each way, which is why I was looking to buy a more reliable car in the first place. Now I'm done. If you want to read and respond to my actual issue, please do. But sir, if you're going to keep talking to me like I'm complaining about the fee itself and not how it was presented to me, then it's pointless.
