Amazing Sale service and car buying experience! I went to Pete Franklin's To just get an idea of what i could get as far as a car. My old car had a lot of miles on it and i was hoping to use it for I went to Pete Franklin's To just get an idea of what i could get as far as a car. My old car had a lot of miles on it and i was hoping to use it for a trade in. I called in first gave them my information and spoke to a sales rep. He was very concerned about my situation and told me to come in. When i got there he already had my car out front. It was a 2013 impala, silver. I have a long history of buying Chevy and the car i happen to drive was a 2002 Chevy. It was a perfect fit. The paper work was speedy, the insurance call was a cinch, and the finance dept made thing easier. I had a great time time at Pete Franklin's Best cars Kc. I met Pete and Rang the Gong to be part of the family. I never thought that i would be approved and drive away that day. I went in with a black 2002 over mileage Impala with a busted oil pump, traded it in and rode a away with a silver 2013 Lt Impala with insurance, no down payment(with fair credit of course) and low monthly payments. Worst experience ever First off I would like to mention that our sales guy Michael was very helpful. Where we started getting the awful customer service was when Pedro from First off I would like to mention that our sales guy Michael was very helpful. Where we started getting the awful customer service was when Pedro from the liquidation department came to talk to us about numbers. Right from the begging he had an awful attitude and wouldn’t let me or my boyfriend get a sentence out. Pedro was showing us that we were getting our SUV for $22,000 but kept insisting we needed to pay more than $350 a month for payments which didn’t make since to us. We were getting a 4% interest rate and the numbers were not coming out right. And on top of all that we had $5,500 trade in and we were putting $2,500 cash down. I kept asking why he was trying to get our monthly payment up, he wouldn’t address me at all, and he told my boyfriend we will worry about that later. By the end of it I had a gentleman come up to me and say he was going to run my debit card before I actually saw the final numbers or had signed any paperwork. I told him I would like to see the contract before anything was ran and come to find out they were trying to charge us $29,000 for the vehicle. When I told them that we were told the vehicle was only supposed to be $22,000 I was basically called a liar and I was never told that. There were numerous papers showing the $22,000 price but they magically disappeared when they were called out about it. Long story short we did not get the car and will never be going back to Pete Franklin’s. More
