Excellent Sales Service from Kelly (KP) Parrish The Jesse from the internet department contacted me after I submitted an inquery on AutoTrader. She took my credit application and followed up and gave me names of those who would be contacting me (managers). KP was a pleasure to work with. He helped make the experience more enjoyable, and I feel he was very honest with his presentation of the vehice. I have not chosen a sale employee name below, as I do not see his name. My star rating above is 100% stricly based on my internet associate and KP. Regarding the dealersip specifically, I was extremely unimpressed and slightly aggravated. After submitting my credit application to Jesse, as stated above she said a manager would call me. No one called me. I called Jesse back 2 times requesting status, and she apologized for no one having called me. I did get SEVERAL automated emails from various managers, but who cares. I knew that no one took the time to actually review my file. There was only one reason I actually drove to Pompano from Lake Worth and that's Jesse. She is a newer employee and was very attentive to me out of the gate. Upon arriving at the dealership, KP was really the only person who was friendly to us at all. I'm not sure any other associate even said hello as I was buying a $33,000 truck except for the very kind lady at the front desk. I do appreciate KP's professionalism. The purchasing process was downright painful. Why I need to be in a dealership for 5 hours is unacceptable, and frankly pointless. It's an ancient sales ploy that needs a hard look, as the rest of the industry is recognizing. As I came in looking at a specific vehicle listed on the internet at a specific price, the sales manager did not concede one penny on price. Ludicrous. KP sold me the vehicle as it was in perfect condition with 13,000 miles (2013). There was one point I believe was one of my 3 vehicle requirements, that I came away from the dealer thinking I got but acutally did not. My 3 vehicle requirements were leather, 3rd row, and bluetooth. Yes the truck has bluetooth, but it was not made clear that this was half-xxx bluetooth for phone only, not for music. That is extremely irritating and unsatisfactory. The vehicle did not have leather, but the dealer is installing because I paid them to... not as any sales concession. After making my decision to buy the truck (I looked at only 2 vehicles and test drove ONE) and signing the sales pricing contract, I was at the dealer 2 more hours. Why? Because the dealer was understaffed. Really? There's 20 grumpy guys walking around and no one knows how to peck and application into a computer? Granted, I'm an engineer so things seem straight forward to me, but this was a flat out waste of my time. Hour 4 went by and I asked for coffee and a bottle of water. I will say that the 10 minutes I spent with Derek Nagel was extremely professional and well done. I was thrilled when my interest rate and warranty was finally revealed after 5 hours. The manager of this firm needs to take a hard look at this business. I certainly expect my experiences with this specific dealer improve, as my warranty covers service at $0 deductible. I will report back with my findings. More
