Mrs. Greene, I am sorry to hear that you are still dissatisfied with your experience even after all of the steps we took to ensure your happiness and safety. Our salesmen did their jobs by providing you with options within your price range. It would have been unprofessional and unkind to show you vehicles that did not meet your desired monthly payments. Therefore, they showed you the options available within the range of your budget. When vehicles are taken in as a trade in, we immediately place a sticker stating "This Vehicle Is Not For Sale" on the windshield, which complies with Virginia state law.. It is not because a customer may want their vehicle back; I apologize if you were misinformed. Once the vehicle has gotten a fresh oil change and has passed its state inspection, the sticker is removed and the vehicle is placed on the lot for sale. Since you and your husband decided you wanted to purchase the vehicle before we were able to inspect it, we were unaware of the issues that existed. However, in compliance with the law, we inspected it before it was sold and delivered to you and your husband. Upon finding the issues mentioned in your post, our service department ordered the parts needed to ensure the safety of the vehicle. Unfortunately, we have no control over how long it takes for parts to come in once ordered. It would help us out immensely if we did, but we do not. We strive to provide impeccable customer service, and because of such, we did a number of things to account for your inconvenience and rental car expenses. 1. We replaced your right ball joint, right lower control arm, and your front CV axle at no cost to you. 2. We provided a new state inspection at no cost to you. 3. We performed a lube, oil, and filter service at no cost to you. 4. We replaced multiple gaskets, oil seal, o-ring, filter, coolant, and oil at no cost to you. 5. We offered to repair/replace your broken DVD player, however you chose for us to write you a check instead - which we did. 6. We replaced your lock actuator at no cost to you. 7. We performed an AC service test and retest on your air conditioning system, as per your request. In addition to all of the above mentioned complimentary services we offered, we paid for 2 days of rental car expenses, which you claim we refused to pay. We also did paint touch ups on the vehicle at no cost to you. By the end of our complimentary repairs, the items you and your husband were responsible for paying for totaled less than $300.00. I apologize that this was an unforeseeable expense that you incurred, but we certainly paid for an incredibly large amount of repairs, rental cars, and wrote you a check which more than covered the expenses you incurred.
