In the end it was a very minor issue which was fixed in just a couple hours. Will definitely return for future service. More
Outstanding Team! Shout out to Matt and Jamil at Patriot Subaru who got me into my brand new 2019 Forrester in a matter of hours ! I came to trade in my Legacy and Jamil took me on a great test drive combining highway and back roads, helping me figure out which Subaru was my best next option. Jamil listened very carefully to my thoughts on what I wanted. He then discussed various options of the various Subaru choices, and helped me match what I wanted to the right choice with genuine concern. Then, Matt made the numbers work, going out of his way, to make sure he had a satisfied customer, and finally, Dana in the financing office was awesome as well at presenting various Subaru offers for ongoing maintenance, etc. I can't say enough good about this team. I love car shopping thanks to these guys ! It is my second new car purchase at Patriot, and I will be back next time I need a new car. I have had all my maintenance done at Patriot and that has always been a seamless experience as well-very professional. For anyone looking for a Subaru - go to Patriot Subaru, you will enjoy the experience, trust me ! They are truly changing the car buying experience like no other dealership I know! Unsavory Sales Practices Long story short I moved to Massachusetts and couldn’t handle driving my Crosstrek with a standard transmission in rush hour traffic every day. I trad Long story short I moved to Massachusetts and couldn’t handle driving my Crosstrek with a standard transmission in rush hour traffic every day. I traded for a used Forester with an immaculate Carfax, albeit $3000 over Blue Book. After driving it for a day I noticed problems with the transmission. I tried to bring it back that evening, they refused to acknowledge they sold me a car with problems until it was diagnosed. It did in fact have a bad transmission, but based upon my previous interactions with the staff I didn’t take it any further and made peace with getting a new transmission at least. The new transmission is now acting up. Will be going to another dealer to try and figure things out. I do not mean to imply that I didn’t make a bad decision in the first place, but the whole situation to me is much worse than the typical dealership nonsense. Nice service staff though! More

Found the dealership to be friendly, not pushy and very accommodating. I ended up buying the vehicle. The condition was that we had to use them for all service which we have for 4 years. After just 75k miles we needed new bearings and were denied a claim on the warranty because in 2016 my wife rotated her tires after 6,000 miles instead of 5,000 miles. Patriot’s defense is that it’s not us, it’s the insurance company that were being sticklers. Patriot offered a $250 credit on the next service charge and have now rendered the lifetime warranty useless because of a 1,000 delay in rotating the tires 3 years ago. The dealer left it to the service clerk to deal with. No one from management would return my call. Cowards as well as Weasels!!! Buyer beware!!!! 4/1/19 update: less then 3 hours after posting this review, Cliff the sales manager contacted me. Apparently the message to call me was left with a manager that was out with pneumonia, thus the message to call me back was not followed up on. Patriot has reversed their position and have sent me a reimbursement check (rec'd today 4/1) for the cost of replacing the bearings and have assured me that the warranty is still valid. He was extremely apologetic. I'll take him at his word. Aside from this one instance, their service department has been better pretty good. i'm upgrading this review from a 1 star to a 4. More

Pat Kelly assisted me. He was very different from most car salesmen. There was no back and forth with his manager, he was very direct and honest. When I went to pick up my new Subaru Legacy, Mark Perryman assisted me with the finance. I've never seen such outstanding customer service. The entire staff was extremely nice and really went above and beyond to assist me. I would definitely recommend purchasing a vehicle from Patriot Subaru. More

Deceitful Went in to trade my car in response to their current promotion of paying up to $4500 over KBB value. The kept me waiting a very long time only to come back saying we'll give you $3500....BUT then they add a list of subtractions off that number. They will name anything even if your car doesn't need it until they get down to a minimum laughable amount. My offer dwindled down to less than $800.00 They included a deduction of $1500 for body work which was a lie because my car has no damage whatsoever. Besides...they would just ship it to auction anyhow and have nothing to do with it. Bottom line is that they engaged in a deceiptful business practice just to get me and others in there. Not feeling the LOVE after a total waste of time. Left with no love, just an insult. So they're no different from any other car dealer I guess. More
Honesty & Transparency I shopped around a lot before deciding on Patriot. This is the second car they have given me the best price on compared to 3 other Substu dealerships. From the start they gave me numbers, even over text before I went into the dealer since it was 45minures away which helped me compare without losing time. They gave me a deal so far above the competitors it wasn’t worth going back to see if they could beat it. Genuinely friendly and I didn’t leave feeling insulted, belittled or cheated which is how the other places felt to me. One place I had the sales person laugh at the number I wanted and didn’t even offer his business card, yet after we left I got 3 calls from their finance office asking me to come back. Bad method. Patriot was miles ahead in professionalism. Will be sending all my family & friends here for their subaru needs. Caitlyn & Pat in sales responded to me immediately anyway and time, Shaun in finance kept the numbers where I needed and Christine & Mark came to meet me personally while I waited (the Sales Manager & General Manager of the Dealership) And best of all I love my car. He was able to answer all of our questions in a timely manner. I also liked when I heard Patriot Subaru recently donated rental cars so Providence Firefighters could give rides to people who drank alcohol on New Years eve. Helping to keep everyone safe from drunk drivers. Hard to say how many lives were saved that night. Chris our salesman was one of the volunteer designated drivers. Great companies hire great people and we are comfortable and excited purchasing our car from this great company. More
