My latest experience was very disappointing. I felt like secondary after being a loyal Toyota customer 2 straight times in a lease and was trying for the trifecta with a purchase this time. Steve the sales rep told me we can approve you for the new 2022 Corolla LE for $510 per month for 72 months with $1000 down, WTH? Let's do some math shall we? 2022 Toyota Corolla LE $23,000 - $510/MO. X 72 = $36,720. I said to Steve that's well over 50% interest, and he said no it's a lot less, really? Let's not forget the $1000 down which I told him a few times not out of pocket I never have done that with my last 9 new car purchases. Loyalty means zero to Parks Toyota in Deland, Nothing! My boyfriend and I purchased a vehicle from this dealership 4 months ago (April), not even a month later the car's engine gave out and has been sitting since then. We have gone through the warranty, and they have approved for us to get the motor repaired, ever since then this dealership has constantly given us the runaround and refuses to do anything else. We have constantly been calling them to check up on the car and its always the same thing. Last week we were given the option to trade in the car, after thinking about it we decided to go with that option because we have been paying our car for 4 months without even driving it. Yet today when we called again, they told us that we needed to drive up there. We live 4 hours away from that dealership and cannot afford to waste 8 hours of our time to drive and be disappointed. With our first purchase everything was done over the phone, and we had numbers ready for us before we went to sign. So why are we getting bamboozled and being treated as if we are stupid. Today we called the dealership again to explain that we cannot afford to drive up there and would like to run the numbers just like we did 4 months ago only to be hanged up on. The person we were speaking to had the audacity to hung up on us not once, but three times. This dealership is the worst place to buy from, has the worst customer service and treat their customers like trash when they can't coerce you into doing what they want, they only care about their money and nothing else, we have been without a car for 4 months and they refuse to fix our car nor speak to us. On top of being hung up on, this so-called salesperson refused to give us his name nor did he transfer us to talk to the general manager. If I could rate this dealership 0 stars I would without a doubt, do it. I do NOT recommend purchasing from this dealership and I WILL NOT recommend it to any of our friends in the future. They have continuously wasted our time trying to persuade me that we inquired on multiple vehicles when they were the ones who suggested the trade in the first place. I regret that we ever found this dealership and purchased anything from them. More
