Excellent Service Manager I have been using Palisades Volvo since 2004 and have never come across a manager as good as Tom Rutigliano. He should hire people like him so the rest of the service staff understand what customer service means. He remembers me and my name. He goes above and beyond. I know if costs more to go to a dealer for a repair but as a direct result of Tom's fantastic customer service I would rather go to Volvo than to any other mechanic. More
Good Place to Service Volvo I have used Palisades Volvo since I purchased my car there in 2007 it is a S60. I recently had the brake pads replaced (they were the original ones) I have used Palisades Volvo since I purchased my car there in 2007 it is a S60. I recently had the brake pads replaced (they were the original ones) along with a state inspection and oil change. All went well and the price seems good. I just wish the mechanic did not scrape up my NYS registration sticker when removing the state inspection sticker. Now I have to look at it tore up until late 2016...ugh. but I would still use this dealership for service and maybe a new purchase in a few more years. Also - there seems to be a lot of turn over at this dealership - it has not affected my experience but there definitely has been bad and good service employees. Not sure who the current manager is at this time. More

As noted above, the sales force was delightful to deal with, follow up with you appropriately, and take your input. I wasn't really expecting to do a trade-in, told them so, but asked them to see what they could do with my used Audi. They offered the expected low-ball trade-in, but then worked hard the next day to shop the deal around to the rest of their network (17 dealerships) and were able to raise the price quite a bit. Almost enough to make up for the added effort of selling it myself. They didn't really move much off the listed price, which in this particular case was already pretty close to a true wholesale price as the car had been languishing on the lot for over two months as they lowered it. Kevin Lent and Calvin Bibbs were great to work with, despite not knowing much about Land Rovers, but were completely honest and open about what they didn't know, and let me make my own discoveries and decisions. Manager Frank Benedict is an old hand at the business, and very straightforward to deal with, no funny-business. I've bought a car before from another of their dealerships, and to me, having them all tie together significantly adds options and reassurance to my car-buying experience. In other words, I can buy a "close-to-certified" car that the main dealer doesn't want to hassle with, for close to their trade-in price, knowing that they're looking for a long-term relationship with me, so unlikely to sell me crap. It's not worth the risk for them, and makes me feel more at ease. Good job guys! More
Pleasantly Surprised I'm the kind of person that abhors going to the "stealership" for service. But I had a no crank/no start condition that I couldn't remedy on my own, s I'm the kind of person that abhors going to the "stealership" for service. But I had a no crank/no start condition that I couldn't remedy on my own, so I reluctantly had my car towed to Palisades Volvo and waited for a $500+ repair bill. In the end, I paid only the minimum diagnostic fee because the repair was so simple it only took them the initial hour to fix (which made me feel stupid, but I'll take feeling stupid if it saves me several hundred dollars). The staff were very courteous and my car was ready for me by the next business day. Overall, it was a good experience. More

The BEST manager ever I have been using Palisades Volvo for over 10 years and they recently brought Tom Rutigliano into their service department. I have never worked with a more pleasant and accommodating person. He went out of his way to help me on 2 separate occasions and totally endeared me to him. Hopefully he can turn the service department around and have the other 2 people who write the service paperwork be as nice and accommodating as him. More
