This was my second service visit and all went smoothly. I waited an hour, which did not seem to be unreasonable to me. Palisades Volvo in West Nyack, NY 10994 continues to impress me. I currenty operate four Volvos ranging from the S40 to the XC-90. I have continually brought my vehicles to Palisades since 2005, when I moved here to NY-assigned to West Point, because I trust in their workmanship and thoroughly enjoy their superior customer service. During my visits for service, I continuously see the service manager, Jason Tuninaro, come out from his office to check on customers to see if they are satisfied. He frequently does a quality assurance review of services, ensuring customers leave satisfied. I know I have time and time again, and, being a recently retired Military Officer in the U.S. Army, truly appreciate Jason's genuine sense of commitment to quality service, demonstrated loyalty to customers and dedication to efficiency. Everyone in the service department is extremely professional and works hard for the customer. I can't complain at all about service provided to my vehicles and treatment provided to me as a customer-absulutely top rating in customer service. I certinly could go to other Volvo dealers, but I am one who sticks with what is right and Palisades Volvo is certainly my choice of dealerships. Both Sal and Jeff Uhl are true heros working between the customer and service providers. They fully explain the work done to the vehicle and explain all options. It is evident they have a passion and a commitment for their work. Additionally, there are many times when even the mechanics who work on my vehicles come into the customer area and deliver a warm "good morning" or send a friendly wave. Bottom line: Absolutely superior performance!! More
I have owned my XC90 for just over 7 years and have had my car serviced there since the purchase. Service has remained excellent over the years which is why I continue to bring there from our location in O my car serviced there since the purchase. Because Volvo gave us some funds towards the purchase we decided to buy a volvo again. But there was limited choice with the 2012 models. we wanted a black model but had to settle on white. Seemed there was only the more expensive option in black. But I must say the sales staff were not that motivated to look for one for us, and just said 'white is nice, it shows the dirt less'. They were curtious enough but they were not as diligent and responsive as one would think selling a $40K car. I had to keep calling them to move things along, it should be the other way around. We would have gone to another dealer if there was once as close and if we had more time, but we needed a replacement fast as the insurance process had already taken weeks. I hope the service as we more forward will be of a high standard, we have not had a full explanation of how it works, as we waited about 2 hours to close out the paper work and I had to leave to return the rental car. All in all not the level or service one would expect from a Volvo dealer. if it wasn't for the fact that Volvo USA gave us money towards a new car, we would have walked away. Best Jon Parkinson More
