My father does not speak English very well and Michael was so patient with him in trying to explain every aspect about the car.. he was a complete pleasure! I felt Michael was on our side throughout the entire process and he even helped work with the price as much as he could.. I can’t thank him enough for going out his way to meet my father to explain more stuff about the car OH HIS DAY OFF!!…there needs to be more people like him in this world! More
I contacted various Mercedes dealers and test drove the ML350 at multiple locations. After many phone calls and emails, I decided to stop at Bridgewater to meet with Paul Curatolo who had been extremely p ML350 at multiple locations. After many phone calls and emails, I decided to stop at Bridgewater to meet with Paul Curatolo who had been extremely professional, prompt and courteous throughout the entire negotiation process. I was introduced to the GM, Michael Newnam, who right away gave me a good feel for customer care. Michael Vurchio took me on a test drive and I was impressed with his knowledge of the ML350 safety features, advance innovations and vehicle specs. He is very articulate, respectful and customer oriented .... actually I have to say that he "sold" me the ML350 with his great attitude. After some negotiation, Paul and Issac were able to shake hands on a deal. While waiting for the paper work to be drafted, the GM Michael Newnam took me on a tour of the dealership, service area and customer waiting lounge. Overall, all the Bridgewater representatives that I had the fortune to interact where phenomenal, including the girl at the refreshment station and Joe, the financing rep. I drove away very happy. In my wildest dreams I never thought of buying a Mercedes. I was just passing by Open Road Mercedes after a dissappointing experience from the BMW dealer and the customer Service provided by Mike V Mercedes. This dealership was very receptive and friendly. I was particularly impressed with Neil Gerstein who displayed outstanding professionalism and courtesy. He did not "press" for a sale and graciously answer particularly impressed with Neil Gerstein who displayed outstanding professionalism and courtesy. He did not "press" for a sale and graciously answered all questions no matter how trivial. He walked me through all aspects of my new E350. Subsequent to the sale, he answered all my phone calls promptly and courtiously. I drove my new vehicle back to MB Open Road for Neil to show me how to record CDs onto the on-board hard drive. I was also impressed with the friendliness of the service when I brought my car in for its first car-wash. Overall, this was a very pleasant experience and I urge any candidate customers to visit Open Road MB in Bridgewater. More
They lied and made promises that they did not keep. They are the most deceptive salesman I have ever worked with. Mercedes Benz has a good reputation however this dealership acted dishonorably. I visited the Bridgewater Showroom on December 27, 2011 with my daughter and son-in-law in order to test drive a GLK 350 SUV. My intention was to also test drive Audi and Acura compact SUVS , elsewhere, fo with my daughter and son-in-law in order to test drive a GLK 350 SUV. My intention was to also test drive Audi and Acura compact SUVS , elsewhere, for comparisons. We were approached by Michael, a salesman who presented as calm, low keyed and open in sharing information. He accompanied us on 2 test drives; one completed by me and one completed by my son-in-law. We all agreed that we were impressed with the car and began negotiations for price and possible options for both new and previously owned vehicles. At no time did we feel pressured to make a rapid decision and Michael encouraged us to take all the time we "needed", He was very helpful in answering our many questions, describing the possible "add ons", again, without pressure. I decided to purchase the car based upon a very fair price negotiated with Michael and his manager who was also very patient, polite and willing to "work" with us. Both came back and forth to us with price adjustments for the car as well as for my trade in vehicle during a period of several hours. When the car with options we wanted was not available at the location, Michael went online to locate one. He was able to do so and indicated that it would be available to me on December 29th or 30th. I telephoned Michael on Thursday and again on Friday when he advised me that the car had arrived. We agreed that I would come by on the 31st to complete the sale. When I arrived on the 31st I was told by the Manager that Michael had taken ill and had left for home. In very short order I was introduced to Mark who escorted me to meet with Julia, the Finance Manager. We completed the sales transaction in a very well organized, professional and cordial meeting. Mark accompanied me to the car for my inspection, reviewing the features and operating systems. He was charming and patient in doing so and even suggested that I visit the service department with him. He also emphasized that I would be entitled to complimentary car washes. I was shown the facility and introduced to Ted Gaspari, Master Certified Service Advisor who was cordial and welcoming. I am very happy with my decision, unexpectedly made because of the level of attention received from Michael, Manager (John?) Mark and staff. I look forward to experiencing that same quality at Open Road Mercedes service and sincerely hope that Michael is well. . More
As with the previous reviewer I just did a cash purchase for a 2008 CLK. If I could give a negative star rating for this dealership I would. Bottom line is they clearly could have cared less whether I purch for a 2008 CLK. If I could give a negative star rating for this dealership I would. Bottom line is they clearly could have cared less whether I purchased the car with them or not. I always thought Mercedes dealers treated you like royalty and ensured you were happy with your purchase before leaving. I have heard stories of customers receiving bouquets of flowers thanking them for their purchase, courtesy phone calls to gauge satisfaction and other customer service gestures. Before I left, my salesman Michael didn't so much as give me his business card or offer his assistance for future questions, etc. In fact, he was the most ambivalent and non-attentive car salesperson I have ever come across. The manager John was nice but also completely could not give a rat's tail about my satisfaction as a customer. Even when minimally negotiating price, he did not return to talk to me after his final offer and left the impression that the could care less whether I purchased with them or not. To make matters worse, before I left I asked my salesman Michael if the manual was in the car and he assured me yes. After I started having some issues on the road after leaving and reached for the manual I saw that instead in the glove box was a BROCHURE! To make matters worse, my salesman claimed the car was getting all cleaned up for me before I left and I noticed the next day that it was rather dusty inside. In essence, I drove 200 miles to be treated like a nobody and regret my dealer choice. Before buying this CLK I test drove a Volvo right down the street and was treated with the utmost courtesy and respect. My salesman there was personable, attentive to my needs and preferences in a car and the most friendly and helpful person you'd ever want to deal with. Also, they let me test drive the care ALONE and told me to take as long as I wanted unlike Open Road. I have a terrible feeling right now about my mercedes purchase and it's 99.5% due to my experience at Open Road. Customer Service is a complete ANOMALY there. If you are set on purchasing a Mercedes, do yourself a favor and find a great Mercedes dealership and avoid this one. More

The sales person, Isaac Morgan, was extremely responsive, answered all my questions, patient, professional, knowledgeable, and returned calls in a timely fashion. He made the purchase simple and delivered t answered all my questions, patient, professional, knowledgeable, and returned calls in a timely fashion. He made the purchase simple and delivered the best deal out of four dealerships without any bait and switch tactics. His continued committment to customer service has lasted far beyond the sale which was in June 2011. His associate, Gary Wilson, walked me through the mechanics of the car, and was also very customer service focused by extending his assistance whenever needed. Having been in sales myself, I would say they both understand that this type of sale needs to be efficient, factual, and geared towards the buyer's needs. Bravo! More
