This is one of the worst service related Acura Dealership in Central Jersey. I went in with a HFL Module issue where battery would drain overnight. They made me replace battery first after confirming it was in Central Jersey. I went in with a HFL Module issue where battery would drain overnight. They made me replace battery first after confirming it was a battery only issue. My battery was new but they stil had me change it. On my way back home after battery change, after driving 5 mins on the expressway, the car electronics started fluctuating, I hastily pulled to a roadside garage and turned the car off. When trying to turn the car back ON, the car was just dead, even the doors wouldn’t open. When I opened the hood, I saw that the RED terminal of battery had came off because it was not even tightened. WOW to workmanship of a “trusted” Acura Dealership. I made an angry call to the service center and they were not least bit worried. The lady said, I’m sure it was not intentional, what do you want me to do about it. Great customer service right, talking to an irate customer who is standing on the road because of your poor work quality. They were nice enough to give me a “free oil change” the next time you come. And my Bad that I went there again. The issue persisted as the issue was not battery anyways. This time when I went, my Service Manager was Ed. Even before taking the car for service he said this looks like a bad HFL module (proving it was the most common problem, then why didn’t you check for it in the first place). Anyways, I left the car there and took the loaner home. He called me later and said I needed to replace the HFL Module as its the Hands Free Link that had an issue. When I asked how much its going to be, Ed said the part is 700$ and I am giving you a discount that I am not even supposed to give. So including part n labor it will come out to be $495. When looking online on how much people had paid for it and my neighbor was quoted for it for same 2007 MDX, the price sounded wrong. When I went to pick the car and looked at the invoice, the cost of the part they charged me was $335. Just to make sure I wasn’t missing anything, I called Acura of Bridgewater and they said that part was $258. When I told the service manager he said oh that Acura Dealership is not Open Road so we can’t really compare with them. I told him you do not represent Open Road for me, you represent Acura. When I pressed further and asked Ed to call Bridgewater and check the price himself, which he said he is not allowed to do. Ed then went and talked to “his Manager" named Dave who supposedly was at Acura of Bridgewater dealership for 9 years. After 20 mins of talk they came out and said okay we gonna call that dealership. They then "supposedly" made a call to someone in Acura of Bridgewater and asked him the price of the same part. I obviously couldn't hear anything but when Dave hung up the phone he said they are saying the same price as 335 which we are charging. I asked him to put it on speaker phone and call which he conveniently avoided. Dave continued to say that these dealership under ball the prices on phone to attract them and there business practices are not very good etc. Basically bad mouthing that dealership. He again tried to bad mouth Bridgewater Acura to which I ask him to "SHUTUP". I had also called Open Road Acura of Wayne, NJ and they had priced me 271 for same part. So then I told them you guys are outrageously pricing it, even other Open Road dealerships are 20% or more less then yours. To which Dave then shutup and said let us talk to another manager. Then after making me wait another 20 mins when Ed talked to “Another Manager” he gave me a price of 268. I’m putting my experience down so people beware of the MAKE GOOD FEEL they try to give you, check their pricing, verify the workmanship and beware that underneath they may charge you rip off prices. ex: "Oh this part is $700 and I’m giving you a discount that I’m not even supposed to give you”. BOTTOM LINE. DONT GO TO OPEN ROAD ACURA OF EAST BRUNSWICK. If you have to go then price match them with other Acura Dealerships and make sure you don’t pay more then what you should. These guys are liers and fakers. More
My husband and I took a short drive from Staten Island to look at the new 2014 MDX. We were just starting to look around at the car and planned to visit all the local Acura dealerships. We started with this look at the new 2014 MDX. We were just starting to look around at the car and planned to visit all the local Acura dealerships. We started with this one because it is the closest to the Island. We were greeted by Chris- a fellow Staten Islander who was fairly new to the store. Within 2 hours, we were proud owners of the new MDX. Chris, as well as his management team made us feel welcome, comfortable, and made the entire process seamless and easy. Chris took the time to make sure we selected the perfect model to fit our needs- and obtain what we felt was a very good deal. If you're in the market for a new Acura- go see Chris and his management team for an excellent experience. More

About two years ago, we purchased a Acura TSX Sports Wagon at Open Road and had a very pleasant experience. When we had a second kid, we decided to trade in the TSX for a 2014 Acura MDX-AWD. Naturally, Wagon at Open Road and had a very pleasant experience. When we had a second kid, we decided to trade in the TSX for a 2014 Acura MDX-AWD. Naturally, we went back to Open Road. The sales consultant we previously worked with and liked a lot was no longer at the dealership. We got to work with Antonella Zuckerman this time. She was pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. She was reasonable throughout the negotiating process and tried to get us the best price possible. We were very pleased with the whole purchasing experience once again. Also, later, when I couldn't locate the lower anchors for the LATCH system for the car seats (I thought they were missing!), Antonella responded right away to my call and patiently walked me through locating the anchors in the midst of me throwing a hissy fit! Would definitely recommend checking out Open Road to anyone interested in Acura. More

Hands down the most smooth, professional, and painless car buying experience I have ever had. Robert Burreci was excellent regarding answering my many questions about my '99 CL. I'm trying hold on to my treasure for as long as possible. I was uncertain about correct maintenance procedures because Op questions about my '99 CL. I'm trying hold on to my treasure for as long as possible. I was uncertain about correct maintenance procedures because Open Road put in a new transmission , catalytic converter, o- ring things some time ago. I appreciate the fact that a loaner is provided when necessary. This makes a tremendous difference, for I have no one to depend upon for transportation. Your Service Department is outstanding. NOW...if only you would produce a TWO DOOR ACURA !!!!! Thank you, Maureen Jacobsen More

They had bagels, coffee and free WiFi so I could get some of my work done while waiting. The service was done in the promised time and they even offered me a loaner car. I couldn't have asked for more. I will be returning there and telling all my friends to as well. More

He also followed up days after to make sure everything was excellent with the vehicle. I have encountered many sales people and Mark is by far the BEST, honest and friendliest one I have dealt with. Only if all sales people were like him! I would recommend everyone to deal with Mark when buying an Acura! More
