Made an appointment to correct a problem with a low tire sensor and air conditioning problem. Arrived at exactly the appointed time. The vehicle sat for 1 hour before any work began. When I checked in and again with Amber I indicated I had purchased a bumper-to-bumper warranty at the time the vehicle was purchased. At the time the work began I was informed my warranty was only power train and had expired. When the problem was diagnosed I was told the cost--again I stated I had purchased a warranty that was represented as convering the charges. Again was told the warranty was not valid. I paid the cost just to leave---I had been waiting 3 hours. This wait even though I had an appointment. At a later time Amber called stating that I was correct about the warranty and the charge had been voided. I would expect that sometime within the 3 hours the warranty could have been verified as this is the selling dealer. I was told there was no problem with the air conditioning however the fan control apparently was not checked. The fan has one speed--I would expect this to be an item that would be checked. The problem continues. VERY UNHAPPY. Would not consider recommending this dealer. More
Finance mgr. insisted on extended warranty. Charged me $1720.00, my dealer in Lawrence is about $1300.00. Curry Honda online is about $1125.00. Charged adm. fee of $270.00 Lawrence dealer $99.00. I bought this car in Aug. 2013 end of model year to not have to pay full sticker, which I didn't. They made it up on overcharges and deception. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!!. More
Horrible customer service. We were there looking to trade in our vehicle. They were not willing to work with us on a price for ours. When we countered on the price, asking for just $500 more for ours trade in our vehicle. They were not willing to work with us on a price for ours. Went to another dealership who happier worked with us and gave us what we needed including a great deal on our new vehicle!! Definitely choose another dealership!! Do not go to this one!! More

I Know what wholesale value is on my car and told you up front we would not be buying a car. What a waste of three hours of my life. Not to mention the cost to drive there and back. More

From Jason in the Finance area to Dave in collision, everyone has been helpful and gone out of their way to O'Neill Honda since a purchase in 2004. From Jason in the Finance area to Dave in collision, everyone has been helpful and gone out of their way to ensure the safety of the vehicle (as well as make up for poor repair work from other highly rated insurance shops in the Greater Kansas City Area). O'Neill Honda is helpful and quick to offer suggestions, while completing their work in a very efficient manner. They all (including the service dept.) work closely with insurance to process claims and move the process along quickly. They have made last minute runs for inconveniences related to other shops also. Thank you for being a caring & competent dealer in a world of less friendly, customer service today! Will recommend to family and friends. More
I had a miserable experience at this service shop. My car had been hit in a relatively bad accident, with the driver's side back door smashed and the side air bags went off. After the car was inspected by the insurance company, I received no phone call or any information about the status of my vehicle. I called multiple times for updates and every time they pushed the finish date back further, knowing that I had out-of-pocket expenses for my rental car. If I hadn't called so often, they probably would STILL have my car. 4 weeks later, when I FINALLY got it back, they gave me the car with zero gas in it, which I thought was very inconsiderate. When I got to the gas station and pushed the button to open the gas tank, it would not open. It took them 4 weeks to finish my car and they didn't even fix it properly. They told me they would drive me to work, fix the gas tank opening, and drop my car off to me later that day. A few hours later they called and said they found another problem with it and had to order a part for it, making me car-less with no way to get home from work, and delaying the return of my car to me even further. Because they took so long to finish my car, I worried that insurance would not cover the prolonged cost of my rental car. I made this clear to Honda and he assured me that if my insurance didn't cover anything, he would take care of it for me. When, as expected, the insurance company short me over $150, they did not cover me and told me they were not liable for it. I tried calling back several times to explain, only to get told I would get a call back and never hear anything again. I got so sick of the situation that I just gave up and decided $150 wasn't worth all the trouble. A couple months later now, I recently had to get an oil change and went to a different Honda service shop (because I didn't want to go back to O'Neill). They checked my alignment and my tires were not aligned properly. I had to pay another $100 to get them properly aligned. O'Neill should have checked this and fixed it before returning my car to me. Overall, I would not recommend this service shop to anyone and personally will never return. More

Why: I have been a customer of O'Neill Honda for many years and have trusted their service and particularly my serviceman, Dave Mac Dougall. This is my third or fourth car that I have purchased from t years and have trusted their service and particularly my serviceman, Dave Mac Dougall. This is my third or fourth car that I have purchased from this dealership. My salesman treated me fairly without pressure but with a strong desire to place me in the right care at the right price. We purchased a car from O'Neill back in 2007 and have loved the car. When it was time to purchase another vehicle we put O'Neill at the top of our list.
