I got the best pricing and the best information from Adam and Adam worked to secure a fair amount for my trade-in. Adam is knowledgeable, courteous, and very helpful! This, by far, was the best Honda dealership I dealt with in the Kansas City Area. I highly recommend Adam and ONeill Honda in Overland Park! THE DEALERSHIP FROM "THE NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET!" I bought a 2015 Honda Fit on 1-8-2015. Within 18 hours the cars engine or transmission went out. THIS CAR HAD MAJOR AND VERY SEVERE PROBLEMS. I BOUGH I bought a 2015 Honda Fit on 1-8-2015. Within 18 hours the cars engine or transmission went out. THIS CAR HAD MAJOR AND VERY SEVERE PROBLEMS. I BOUGHT IT OFF THE SHOWROOM FLOOR! GO - FIGURE! General Sales Manager/Todd Long/HIDEOUS. I went to this dealership only because my 2012 Toyota Prius C-3 HAD NO POWER!. I wanted to save gas and have a car with power. So I bought the new fit that had been rated either #1 or 2 no matter where you looked Consumer Reports, Consumer Digest, Automobile Magazine, Wall Street Journal or Car and Driver Magazine. I was elated to have this newly remodeled brand new car. It gave me severe problems with in the first 18 hours of ownership. It would only go 20 miles per hour on the street and on the highway, I kept my EMERGENCY FLASHERS ON and drove back to 7979 METCALF, scared to death for my life. This trip gave a New DEPICTION to the meaning, of ROAD RAGE. "PEOPLE" If you see someone in a BRAND NEW CAR with emergency flashers on, PLEASE just pray for them. Because something could be happening," OUT OF THEIR CONTROL!" I was frightened out of my mind. I began to say Keep me SAFE LORD! I drove from almost Edgerton, Kansas to the Dealership. I was crying and shaking, scared and I could barely talk when I finally arrived. I was given a loaner and sent home and told to come back tomorrow. I was so afraid to drive the loaner because of my frightening experience. I went back that Saturday, skipped my Beauty Shop Appointment and I arrived their between 11:50 am and 12:00pm. I never, ever heard of a 3 day policy that supposedly the Dealership has in place until I read the dealers response. It took me only 1 and a half to 2 hours to get my 2015 Honda Fit. I sat at this Dealership from 11:50am to 3:00pm to just be able to talk to RAY, The NEW CAR SALES MANAGER. I went into Todd Long the General Sales Manager as soon as I got there around 11:50 am and told him personally that I never, ever want to get in or drive a FIT again in life. Mr. Long, SIR this was your opportunity to tell me yourself, PERSONALLY about your 3 day POLICY. INSTEAD, when I said that I no longer wanted the FIT, You told me that I had signed a contract and that you were going to see that I adhere to it. I told you what about the Kansas Lemon Law, and your reply to me was have you brought it back to us 3 times yet. I said no and you told me that I had to give you a chance to fix the problem, Have you forgotten all this dialog that you and I indulged in? I said well I am going to call my attorney because I am not taking this car back. I stood outside your office and called my attorney and he said just get the keys back to your Toyota and leave, I told him that you said that was not a remedy because you had already wholesaled my car out to someone else. That me getting my trade-in back was not an option. It took me 1-2 hours to BUY my first car the FIT. On Saturday January 10, 2015 I was at O'NEIL Honda from 11:50 UNTIL almost 6:00pm closing time to buy my 2015 Honda CIVIC COUPE EX-L. Someone did not do their JOB in the SERVICE DEPARTMENT when they checked this car out before it was cleaned up and driven to the showroom floor. I could have been killed in this car, but excuse me no one seems to care about that. Especially not a GENERAL SALES MANAGER, by the name of MR. TODD LONG and even up until this very day NO ONE ABSOLUTELY NO ONE has said I AM SORRY FOR THE PROBLEMS YOU EXPERIENCED WITH YOUR BRAND NEW PURCHASE off the SHOWROOM FLOOR. I understand that this should be a very happy time for you. I do not think that you understand the 2 MAJOR ACQUISITIONS IN LIFE ARE; 1. HOUSE 2. CAR. Mr. Long in your response you stated that a PRE-DELIVERY inspection was done when I returned the vehicle. I think you have it Definitely Wrong that would have been called a POST DELIVERY Inspection after a customer made you aware that this car had severe mechanical problems. Remember the car that you wanted me to keep and bring it back 3 times before you were going to let me out of my contract. DO YOU HEAR HOW WRONG THIS WAS? I was treated WORST than a DOG, an overseas foreign refugee DOG. I was promised window tinting and 0.9 for 72 months instead of 60 if I bought a CIVIC and when I did buy one because you were upset with me, I got 2.49 for 72 months, and no window tinting. I DID NOT MAKE THE HONDA FIT THAT BROKE DOWN, SO PLEASE, do not be angry with me, take that up with HONDA. Mr. LONG your DEALERSHIP made me call and text my LAWYER 3 or 4 times on a SATURDAY, shame on you and IF I EVER do BUSINESS with the likes of you again then SHAME ON ME. I am getting ready to buy the new not yet released HRV and I will not even give your DEALERSHIP a SECOND THOUGHT. I only wrote the first time 25 words, I told DALE I wanted to tell the WORLD, How I was treated by you and I chose to just let it be. I got an email this morning to read the DEALERS RESPONSE and I hope the whole WORLD READS MINE. MAY GOD BLESS YOU IS MY PRAYER, my BIBLE teaches me to pray for those that despite-fully use you. I am a female and I'm always impressed that they do not treat me like I don't know what I'm talking about. I am always treated respectfully- even if what I'm saying may not make complete sense. All the service staff inject a sense of humor into their workday and into their interactions with the customers. It makes what would be a stressful experience a lot easier to deal with.
