Last minute excellence I’m visiting relatives, and my engine oil light shows I need an oil change on the road from California. I call a local non-Honda oil change business, I’m visiting relatives, and my engine oil light shows I need an oil change on the road from California. I call a local non-Honda oil change business, and they can’t make an appointment till next Friday. Only I’m driving back on Tuesday. Then I check my phone and find the local Honda service department. It was close by and super easy to make an appointment with my cellphone for the next morning. I brought my terrier along (she insisted, she loves riding in the car), and we were both VERY happy to drive right up to the automatically opening doors leading to the indoor, heated, service bay. Right away, a service agent took my information, told me what else was recommended for my mileage (which I didn’t have the time or the money for at the moment), how long it would take (just an hour) and how much it would cost. When I asked where my dog and I could wait, he showed me the warm, clean, sunny, free-coffee, free-bottled water, TV plus internet station waiting room next to the clean restrooms, where over half the people waiting had dogs at home and said hello. In less than an hour, my car was ready, I was told everything checked out, plus they’d done minor recall work that my own dealership hadn’t been able to do yet. I get straight into my car and go. I WAS ENCHANTED. Thank you. PS. I also had one of the free snack bars. More

Andrew and I spoke several times on the phone and via text. He was quick to respond to all my questions, appeared eager to earn my business but he never made me feel pressured. He was very honest in trying to help me find the lowest price for the Odyssey. No high pressure sales tactics and no gimmicks. While I did not end up purchasing from O'Neill it was most certainly not because I was displeased with their service. I would recommend O'Neill and Andrew to anyone shopping for a Honda. More

Refusal To Keep Their Word! Toyota does not keep their word. They do not honor their warranties. Prepare to be screwed. When I went in I had some financing challenge, I was give Toyota does not keep their word. They do not honor their warranties. Prepare to be screwed. When I went in I had some financing challenge, I was given a good interest rate. For a beautiful good looking Toyota Camry, even though I came for a Honda. I was directed to this car, and this one only. I was told the car was in excellent condition. I started having problems with different noises in the car, and how it was driving. I brought it back to Oneill Honda 2x, and they told me there was nothing wrong with the car. I wanted to trust the word of the salesman, but I just felt I needed to have it rechecked by the manufacturer. I took it to them, and they found several things wrong with the car, including the battery, the brakes, the rotors, and that engine had a leak that would get worse, because the sealant on the car, and that the apperance of the engine was that it had been wiped very well. I was very angry, took it back to Honda along with me, and a few friends. I asked if they had another vehicle they could sell me in replacement for that car. Of course, they said, "No." Honda said they were willing to fix the problems. Then it changed, when I was having it serviced to we can fix everything, but we are not willing to replace the rotors, we can just machine off the corrosion on them, and they will still have a lot of life. On the engine, Oneill Honda said Toyota was just trying to make some money the engine is good. The issue, I was under warranty for any and all parts to be replaced under their 2 month warranty. They refused to replace them, even though the warranty stated they were supposed to. I asked the sales manager if I should have any problem concerning the engine or the rotors/brakes can I bring the car back to be repaired. He said, "Yes." Well, I went a couple of months, and the brakes were making screeching noise. I had the brakes checked by a auto business, and they said, you need to have your rotors and brake pads replaced and they showed me them. I said, Okay! I called Toyota, Everett looked at the notes, and said, I do not see it, and he is not here to verify it, but since he said, it bring it in. I brought the car in to be serviced, and was told the rotors that needed to fixed weren't the ones they looked at last time. These were new ones, the left rear rotor. Then they told me I was in dire need of new tires. If I did not get these tires, I would have a major accident. Plus it was going to rain that day. I said, I am here for rotors, he said I know, but you need both, and these tires. I said, which one can wait I cant afford both. He said, Get the Tires! He quoted me a price 2 for 235 and times 4= I said, I can only afford two front tires right now. He said, Okay. He then, put the tires on, and when I was all done. I saw the bill, $400 dollars. I said, you did not quote me that price in the beginning, and why am I being charged this much for the tires. He said the tires cost 200 something a piece. I said, I did not come in for tires. He said that is the price, and we special ordered these. I felt obligated to pay, and I did not want the police called for non-payment so I paid. When, I left a friend of mine was there with me. He says, the man told me that those tires were being discontinued that is why they were trying to get them off your car, because they were a recall because so many people were having accident. I said really? I should not have paid for them. Now I felt really bad, I had recalled tires, no rotors, and I had paid more than I was told. I called Oneill Honda. I said, I came for rotors. I ended up with tires that I could not afford, and told you that before you put them on. You told me the rotors were least important to the tires. I could wait for the rotors. What about the recall? He said, they were the most expensive quality tires we had. I said, you could not have found any cheaper. He said, Yes, but they would not have matched the tread. Anyhow, I asked what could he do, because I was not happy. Speak to the sales manager. I called the used sales manager, and I was talked to one and then the other and they both had differing opinions. One I believe was Sean, told me that I could bring the car back in have them take the tires off, and put mine on, but I would be charged labor cost. The other told me, I could not because I drove off the lot with them. So what do you think we should do? I said, "Well if this is your bottom line, I can call the State Attorney General's Office/BBB and they can look into it. Then he changed his tune and said, talk to Randy Francis. I did. I could not get a hold of him for a few days. I kept leaving messages. Finally, I got a return call. I was told that since they put tires they had to get outside of the store, that I could not have had them taken off when I was there anyway. I said, Okay! I will write my reviews, and I will report you! The relationship of mistrust goes far beyond just repairs. I was told when I was buying the car that my taxes, title, and tags would be included in my car loan. I had waited a month only to be told by the sales guy my title was coming. I trusted this guy. I waited and then, it was getting close to penalty phase. I was told that all my information, including my tags/plates/title were going to be send to me in a box within ten days, and all the instructions. This cant be denied, because I have the text messages to prove it, from day 1. I called so many times to the Finance Manager, Ray Pahan. I chose to find out what was going on, only to be told by some downstairs person they mailed out my title almost 2 months prior and the day I went to pick it up, it was shipped back to their office. I incurred fines, if I trusted my sales person I would not have been able to drive legally and fined excessively. He said, we will cover the fees if you get fined. Another lie, they did not. I could go deeper, but I will not. It was so bad, I quickly set up automated payments, so they would not say they did not get my check or they lost my check. I wanted to buy a new car from them, because I will be in a better position in a few years when I pay this one off. I will buy one, but not from them. Honda's are good cars, but I can't trust Oneill Honda. They are about the money, even if it means losing the trust or business of their customers! More
