Close to the worst experience, I often trade, and it would not be with Nyle Maxwell going forward. After telling me I could complete the trade and purchase of a new vehicle with current documents, they would not be with Nyle Maxwell going forward. After telling me I could complete the trade and purchase of a new vehicle with current documents, they changed their mind after the rude finance manager discovered I did not want an extended warranty and tire and wheel replacement package. They made me wait an additional 3 weeks. I had no other choice but to wait for these people because the Navy Federal check was written to them. Desk managers lack tact and people skills. The sales representative only replied to calls and texts when he was sure the sale was going through, full of excuses and complained that his time off was more important, like my sale was not. The GM was full of excuses and allowed the comptroller to run the show, spineless. When I asked him for a business card, he gave me a desk sales assistant card, classless. Maybe that is why they closed and sold their Nyle Maxwell dealership down here in Castroville. More
On March 31st, we took our car in to the dealership for a recall as well as a system update for the radio. I was told it would cost $220 to diagnose the issue and update the system. On the second day, I rece recall as well as a system update for the radio. I was told it would cost $220 to diagnose the issue and update the system. On the second day, I received a text from them stating the radio is damaged and will not update. Then quoted me an estimate of $1,200 to repair and fix the “damaged” unit. On the 3rd day I went to pick up my car, I kindly declined the repair and paid $110 for the service fees done. Fast forward to the next day, my son who is tech savvy was able to download, update and install the new software for the radio and got it back in perfect working order with no issues whatsoever, all from the comfort of his own home. After everything was updated fixed, we drove back out to the dealership and showed them the work was done and requested to speak with a manager, and was told no one was there. We went back again the next day and spoke with Victoria Gonzalez who is supposedly the manager, addressed my issue of being lied to, charged service fees work that was ever done, and for giving me an outrageous estimate to fix something that was not damaged in the way they explained. When I requested my money to be refunded back, she refused and gave me a sad excuse to why we were charged what we were charged, one of them being “the radio was taken out for 3 days.” Which mind you, my son was able to install and fix the problem in a matter of 10 minutes without having the radio taken out. If you value your time and hard earned money, please take your money and time somewhere else. This company does not value its customers or its reputation, they are only out for themselves and their pockets. Even with all the proof and common sense, they’ll still treat you like your stupid. Just look at the amount of bad reviews they have, I wish I would’ve from the start. More

100% the worst service department I've ever seen in my life. I keep going back there thinking that they may have changed their ways but Im never going back there again. Massive overcharges, they charged m life. I keep going back there thinking that they may have changed their ways but Im never going back there again. Massive overcharges, they charged me almost 1000 dollars to replace a plastic housing around my left fog light. Another time I went in for a diagnostic because one of my sensors were out. They quoted me almost 5000 dollars! When I said no, they still charged me 210 dollars just to look at the car. I already knew the sensor was out, yet I had to pay a massive few just for them to tell me what I already knew. Unless you like to get violated repeatedly, do NOT go to the service department, More
My 2025 RAM RHO was having transmission issues so I took it in for service. The Service Tech was incredibly dismissive, proceeded to explain to me how a "performance" transmission operates, it was baffling a it in for service. The Service Tech was incredibly dismissive, proceeded to explain to me how a "performance" transmission operates, it was baffling as I immediately realized these folks didn't have a clue and likely didn't actually diagnose my vehicle. After some back and forth they acknowledged that since the RHO wasn't throwing a CEL, they had nothing to go on - plus it's the first RHO at their dealership. They said they could open a STAR (?) case but they would need more time with the vehicle. Again, it's baffling to me that they had possession of my vehicle to diagnose the issue, but were ready to hand the keys back to me instead of just proactively opening a case. More
