Vehicle Engine Services I have taken my vehicle to Nyle Maxwell Super Center in Austin, Texas on Numerous occasions. This time I spoke directly to the Service Manager, Eric T I have taken my vehicle to Nyle Maxwell Super Center in Austin, Texas on Numerous occasions. This time I spoke directly to the Service Manager, Eric Tippett. We discussed the stradgery on improving my vehicle's engine situation. He informed me that my engine had a bad piston that was hampering its performance. We decided a rebuilt engine would be a great solution to this issue. The engine was purchased, shipped to the dealer and the work began. It's important to speak with the Leadership team as I did to ensure all concerns are met with the professionalism and completion. Eric Tippett is a "Consummate Profesdional" that ensure results and provides "Excellent" customer service. Job did not get done First off, don’t ever call to schedule an appointment. They will never get back to you. I went in for a factory recall on my airbags. Was never offered a rental until I dropped off the keys, which I had already made arrangements, but would’ve been useful to know before my appointment as I was a new customer and was not aware they offer rentals. I went to pick up my Jeep and the airbag sensor was still going off as I pulled out of the lot. That was the whole reason I went in. Now I have to waste even more of my time to take it back in tomorrow because they couldn’t offer me a rental if I brought it back in same day. I am very disappointed with this service and overall experience at this dealership. More

Dealer ignores requests for warranty/ inspection details! This review is being written in response to an e-mail request from Nyle Maxwell to review their services. I recently bought a used Jeep which included This review is being written in response to an e-mail request from Nyle Maxwell to review their services. I recently bought a used Jeep which included a lifetime Maxwell Forever Limited Lifetine Powertrain Protection. I was told that this lifetime protection is only included on vehicles that have been thoroughly inspected. This was a key factor in my decision to buy this car. But, I wanted to know more about the warranty and inspection, and asked the sales people for it, and was told this will be provided, but never was. Soon after the purchase, an engine problem developed (I fear there is also transmission noise) and although the dealer made the repairs, this event demonstrated to me the importance of knowing the warranty and inspection details. Repairs, as well as rental car approval, (car was at the dealer for about 3 weeks) required insurance approval for the Lifetime Protection. What if the insurance company had denied the claim, will Maxwell pay the difference, or will I be asked to pay for it. Advertising with the words "Lifetime Protection", "Forever" and Limited, are misleading. More details about the Maxwell Forever Lifetime Protection, and the inspection that was made before this protection was offered, have been requested from Maxwell since before the actual purchase was made in late October, 2017 up to the present. No information has been provided, not even an acknowledgement of the request. When the General Manager of a store ignores a request for assistance after the sale, why would anyone else on the staff feel inclined to do so? More
