The salesman and sales manager worked together to provide a transparent, straightforward deal at a fair price. All incentives were honored and there was even some room for further negotiating. The salesman (Doug S.) went out of his way to provide answers to questions and to explain the car’s features in detail. He researched and responded to questions he couldn’t answer and was consistently courteous and forthcoming. My car was delivered well-detailed and as expected. Areas for improvement: The Finance Manager rushed me through the final paperwork and did not adequately explain what I was signing. I had to slow him down and request clarification several times. He was congenial enough but brusque. Also, a few salesmen on the team gave me contradictory information about some technical questions I’d raised. Each spoke with confidence, then got contradicted by the next. One salesman flatly insisted the total Volt electric + gas range is over 700 mi when it is, in fact, ~420 mi. I suggest the sales team coordinate an accurate understanding of the products they sell. Overall, a good auto-buying experience. More

Doesn’t return calls I bought a 2013 Subaru Impreza from them on 12/28/17. I was sold a maintenance package which I was told would cover my 60,000 and 90,000 mile tuneup. They lied when I called to book I was told they couldn’t look at my car because they didn’t have the tools which makes sense because within the first week of buying my car it ended up in the shop. Don’t trust them when they say they have looked over your car and everything is good to go. Go to an independent shop and have the car looked over before buying anything from this dealership. UPDATE: As of 1/9/18 I have been refunded for my maintenance package, that did not cover the promised services. I was informed by the sales manger that I would need to remove my reviews before my car is fixed. I am waiting to hear back from Ray the GM about having my CVT serviced. My loan paperwork has not been sent to my bank but was assured that it would be sent today. Danny the finance manger said that he had not sent it over yet. More

I was late for my appt. to get a fuse replaced due to a recal As usual, bringing my 2017 Volt to Novato Chevrolet was an easy and pleasant experience. I was late for my appt. to get a fuse replaced due to a recall, and they accommodated me anyway. Even plugged the car in when they were finished so I could do the trip from Berkeley using only electricity. People are friendly and helpful and I would recommend this dealer to anyone. More

Greg in service c Just stopped to leave a Thank you to the service team @ Novato Chevrolet. Came in because water was getting into my new 2017 Malibu. Greg in service came out to greet me and quickly noticed my 3rd brake light was loose. I left to work and not even 1 1/2 later my car was ready. Went to pick it up and no charge! He said I didn’t deserve to pay when I’ve barley owned the car for about a month, which is awesome! Would also like to hank Candice for reaching out to make sure my service experience went great. I told her they didn’t have time to change my plate brackets because they were so busy but we set up a day for me to get them put on and they did. Couldn’t ask for a better FIRST visit. More
