I had a less than stellar experience on the sales side of this dealership in May 2013 and had 2 conversations with the general manager of this dealership regarding my experience, in the second conversation h this dealership in May 2013 and had 2 conversations with the general manager of this dealership regarding my experience, in the second conversation he convinced me to give Northtown another chance, to exceed expectations, ( his words) I had already purchased from a competitor, but much farther away from my home, so I gave them another chance on 2/4/14 I had 3 main concerns on this service trip, a routine 30K maintenance, My heated seats heat very slowly, getting slower over time, and the heater fan was squeaking badly, as if it were about to break, becoming more pronounced over the past two weeks. I met Jason in the service bay, explained all of this in great detail, I also explained my previous experience at Northtown, He actually said he knew how to WOW a customer, 4 hours later I pick up my vehicle, 30K maintenance is done, Heated seats are not fixed, heater blower motor is not fixed, Jason explained that he tested a 2014 VW and it took 15 minutes to get the heated seats to warm up, and this was normal, then why did mine work much better 2 months ago and are now slow???? Also they could not duplicate fan motor noise, so nothing was wrong, even though it was making the noise when I pulled into the service bay just that morning!!! it was 30 degrees outside and that was too cold to wash my car, even though Northtown has multiple signs spelling out this customary service, I asked if I bought a new car today would it be washed? If it's too cold to wash a car, why not substitute a quick vacuum instead??? They seemed to be cutting corners at every turn. I left VERY angry, I was very clear that I was dissatisfied, they tried to " HANDLE" me and this only made me angrier More

We are full-time RV'ers who live and travel full-time in our motor coach. We were towing a 2000 VW New Beetle behind our coach. We were in the area site seeing when we had problems with where our "tow in our motor coach. We were towing a 2000 VW New Beetle behind our coach. We were in the area site seeing when we had problems with where our "tow package" is hooked into the framework of the car to allow it to be flat-towed behind our coach. We were referred to Northtown by Colton RV to have someone look at it. We did not have an appointment, but Jay Jank "worked us in" to figure out exactly what the problem was. The shop was VERY busy with a constant flow of customers (who had appointments) coming in for service. Jay handled the other customers seamlessly, as well as directing other staff to help keep things flowing smoothly. It was like watching someone handle triage in an emergency room. During this entire time Jay was understanding, courteous and very professional. He would come back to our problem each time he got his appointment customers taken care of. Jay even went so far as to call Blue Ox, the manufacturer of our tow package, to ask them specific questions about how their product hooked into the framework of our bug. It ultimately turned out to be a problem that was too major to realistically consider repairing. We knew at that time we were going to have to replace our vehicle. Jay went over to sales and found a sales person who could assist us. He explained our situation to the sales person and then took us over to introduce us. It was so nice to not have to "start over" and explain to a new person all that had just transpired and why we were standing in front of them. Thanks Jay. You ROCK! More
We had never purchased a vehicle from Northtown before so this was out maiden voyage. When we arrived, Will greeted us immediately with a spontaneous friendly approach. He is extremely knowledgeable about all of the cars in stock, showed us the car we were interested in and let us take a test drive. All the while, he was giving us facts about the model and answering all of our questions. He was not pushy at all but readily stated fact after fact and told of his personal experiences with VWs. We were impressed with his clear cut, knowledgeable, no pressured approach. He introduced us to the service department personnel, gave us a tour of the facility, and was able to locate our desired car on the spot. The car was delivered to us in immaculate condition and well detailed the next day. For us, one of the most important features in a dealership is the service department. We try to maintain the condition of our cars and we depend on a reliable running car, therefore the service department is important to us. After we purchased the vehicle, we received a personal gift delivered to our home. What a nice touch! Very thoughtful. More
I had went to get a price on a trade in and to test drive the Passatt. I really didn't expect to make a deal that day as this was my first stop of several that I was expecting to make. But Trey met with me and jumped on getting my vehicle's value for a trade in and talked to me about the Passatt. He asked me a few questions of what I was looking for and I'd have to say I wasn't very excited as this is always a back breaking experience so I'm sure i came across as a bit negative. However, he listened to what I said and the car that I wanted to see wasn't available because the dealership had just received it so Trey got another identical car and took me on the tour and let me drive it. I was very impressed with his knowledge of the car from bumper to bumper and with all the electronics. To my shock, before I left, he arranged for me to see the car that I was really interested in which blew me away. Before I left he told me the trade in and cut the price on the car I wanted a little so I felt very comfortable that I was getting a square deal. I had already done my homework on my trade in car but played stupid with Trey to see what the dealership would give me and it was in the ball park. I left knowing we were going to have a deal. I called him later that day to tell him I wanted the car and he got it cleaned up, it was filthy because it had just gotten in and had been sitting outside in a snowstorm. I showed up the next day and the car was spotless. He met us at the door, paperwork was ready, coffee was ready, and he went over everything about the car with me again. The car came with cloth floor mats so I asked him about getting rubber mats. He said it only came with cloth but sure enough, he left and came back with rubber mats. Trey did a wonderful job, he made my experience enjoyable and completely stress free. We will be back soon to purchase another Passatt from Trey. More

Chris was great he worked with me for a couple of weeks trying to find the exact car I wanted and within my pricerange. He called me most everyday with updates and when used one was found called me and I trying to find the exact car I wanted and within my pricerange. I cannot thank Donnie DiPalma enough for the excellent treatment I received during my first visit time at this dealership. He went above and beyond helping me to decide which vehicle to purchase. I really had my heart set on this one vehicle, but after test driving it found it to be very uncomfortable. Donnie suggested trying a vehicle of his choice, which I reluctantly did and ended up buying the vehicle he recommended. He was very patient with me and knew what I wanted. He was not pushy like at the other dealerships I visited. He treated me as if I was family. In fact, the vehicle I bought was approximately $7,000 cheaper than the one I originally wanted. Any other salesman would have talked me into the more expensive vehicle, but not Donnie. He also took me around to all the other departments that customers would want to use and found it a very pleasant experience to know of the excellent treatment every customer who purchased or leased a vehicle would receive. All Northtown employees were very cordial and pleasant. I am rating this dealership with a perfect 5 rating and am very satisfied with the vehicle I purchased. To all customers, especially females, you should stop and shop with Donnie. There was no pressure to purchase a vehicle. I would not hesitate to go to this dealership in the future and purchase another vehicle. I will recommend to all my friends to shop there. Plus, the prices are fair and the staff is fantastic. I VISITED ANOTHER DEALERSHIP PRIOR TO VISITING NORTHTOWN. THIS WAS MY FIRST VISIT TO NORTHTOWN TOYOTA/VOLKSWAGON AND I WAS VERY IMPRESSED. I WAS GREETED WITH SMILES FROM EVERYONE AND WAS ASSISTED QUICKLY. THIS WAS MY FIRST VISIT TO NORTHTOWN TOYOTA/VOLKSWAGON AND I WAS VERY IMPRESSED.
