Best part was we were able to make this happen in less than 2 hours! Please use my experience as a guide for a good dealer. More
Just bought 10K car 5 days ago & now have to put $2K into it BUYERS BEWARE!!!!! We bought a 2006 ford explorer for $9200 from Northeast motors in North Hampton, NH from cargurus.com. Decent price, was what we BUYERS BEWARE!!!!! We bought a 2006 ford explorer for $9200 from Northeast motors in North Hampton, NH from cargurus.com. Decent price, was what we were looking for, they are local and delivered to us, and it even came with an inspection sticker. The first 2 miles that I drove it, the check engine light came on. Called them immediately and they said there was nothing they could do until they talked to the owner. The owner had the secretary email us to bring it back and they would pay for HALF of the repairs. Brought it to our local garage and they found numerous things wrong with it totally about $2000 in repairs. Local garage said it should have NEVER passed inspection as it was unsafe to drive. I had driven it with my 2 kids in it already. The brakes and rotors are horrifically bad ~ not road worthy. The ball bearing in one of the tires is gone ~ another safety hazard that shouldn't have passed inspection. One windshield wiper is broken ~ another reason it shouldn't have passed inspection, As it shifts in to overdrive, it severely bucks which our mechanic says means a bad spark plug and it is a big job to take the spark plug out of these things. The bushing on the serpentine belt is bad causing the serpentine belt to slip and needs replacing. Our garage gave us written statements for all of these things (which we gladly paid to have a full review) and we supplied to the owners of Northeast motors and they respond with "We are in business to make money NOT take cars back". Really? Sound like good customer service? We literally drove the car for about 25 miles and parked it and they won't take it back. They offered to do the repairs but only if WE paid for half of them? REALLY? Would you trust having them do the repairs? They are in the business to make money. They would probably put used parts on or jack the prices up so that we have to pay for it all. Very Dishonest and Deceptive people. Even their own warranty states that they will pay half of all repairs. So they sell a car knowing that there is a ton of things wrong with it, you bring it back and you pay for half the repairs. YIKES! Quite the business model! They are in the business to make money and tuck it to the customer. This place is a complete hack job of a dealership. DO NOT BUY HERE! Unfortunately, we will have to pay for the repairs at our own garage and take them to court to be reimbursed! A car, even a used car, should be hassle free for more than 5 days after buying it. Please learn from our naiveness and obvious gullibility. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY ~ they are dishonest, deceptive, and in the market to CHEAT their customers! More

Car was misrepresented Please use my experience to skip this dealer despite the apparently nice cars they have on their lot. I bought a car from them several months months a Please use my experience to skip this dealer despite the apparently nice cars they have on their lot. I bought a car from them several months months ago that was presented to be in good condition, but as it turns out, that was a big misrepresentation. I contacted them with concerns sometime after I purchased the car, and after their mechanic checked it out I was told everything was fine, and that the car was in great shape. Well, it soon became apparent there really was something going on, so I had someone else look at it. Turns out my car had several significant things that needed to be repaired immediately...it was a safety hazard. Twenty-five hundred dollars later, it is now drivable, but will need other repairs soon. Also, their professionalism is severely lacking. They have a large, poorly behaved pit type dog that wanders freely around their offices, often growling and making other menacing noises at prospective customers. That should have been the sign for me to leave the premises, but foolishly, I didn't. More
It's easy to target and talk poorly about Auto Dealers. Northeast Motors employees are honest, kind people who do the right things to the cars, give great deals, sell warranty for cost, give fair financing Northeast Motors employees are honest, kind people who do the right things to the cars, give great deals, sell warranty for cost, give fair financing options, treat you kindly, unless being treated poorly by customers, rightfully so... It's easy to embellish a story when you don't get your way. In reading the review written on Feb 23, 2015, I can say that I was a client there, that day, and the entire review is not true, at all. When asking for a discount, the sales manager explained that there would not be a discount for a number of reasons. The "man" with the woman buying the car simply did not like being told NO by a woman, and that is a fact. Patricia Wilcox More

Spoke with Jamie several times in the week leading up to driving there, he was super nice!!! Drove over 100 miles on 2/7 to find a car with several "issues"…. The serpentine belt had cracks and was showing wear, as well as the original battery and a terrible "reconditioning" job. After my one and only test drive I spoke with my salesperson Jamie and explained that I would have to do repairs fairly soon and asked for a several $100 discount based on the cost of repairs. He excused himself and went to speak with Jen, she proceeded to begin speaking very loudly in the main part of the dealership, around other customers about how dare i ask for $ off when I am getting "such a good deal". My partner had left to use the bathroom after being left alone for more than 10 minutes and couldn't believe what he was hearing, at that moment Jen came into to the office and started speaking down to me, asking me who I thought I was asking for a "deal" saying that she was "a strong woman" and "wasn't going to be had by a customer". My partner had left the room again and Jen stated "Did he put you up to this".. she explained that there was such a deep discount on the car that there was no way I was getting any money off and she would just give it to the next person because there was a lot of interest in the car (that I already put a deposit on). Part of me wishes I would have walked away, but this price could not be found anywhere else. I completed the deal with Jamie, he explained further that his mechanic did an oil change, new tires, brakes…etc etc and there were several work orders for this car and there is even one in the glove box. Before I left I was told that the title was at the bank and will be mailed out by Tuesday 2/10. Here is what transpired since… I have purchased a new battery, wipers AND serpentine belt! had pay someone to properly detail the car, as there were scratches that were not buffed out, and sticky dirty spots on the interior. Since all they did was wipe it down with Armorall… I went to get an oil change and found out that they had not changed the oil like they stated, also there were mouse nests in both air filter housings! They did not put new tires on….. the previous owner did…who they stated lived local to them, but lived in a altogether different state! As of 2/14 I did not have the title so I called the dealership, Jamie stated that a bank run would be done on Monday 2/16 and I would have the title on 2/18. On 2/18 I did not get the title so i called on 2/20 and was told that the title was stuck in Minnesota and that it was out of their hands. How did my title end up in Minnesota if the person who owned it prior lived in NH and Jamie stated there would be a bank run? I decided to take my complaint to the NHADA, and just like that, a photo of the overnight delivery of my title was sent to me within an hour! In my opinion this dealership is a bunch of big talking scam artists. Yes, the price was right…. that is about it!!! More
Will only do business at Northeast Motors!! We completed the on line credit application (something we have never done) at around 7:30 a.m. and got a call from Jen Frampton in sales within an hour. She called again at 10:00 a.m. to let us know that we'd been approved, and to set up a time to come out and pick up the car. We couldn't believe how easy it was (I mean, 2.5 hours? We had been waiting days for a call-back on another identical vehicle in Massachusetts)! We arranged to pick up the following day. When we arrived, the car had the 20 day plate and inspection sticker and the car was ready to go. We went over the car, inspecting the condition-which was immaculate. We noticed that the tires were nearly new, and asked about the brakes, and were told that the dealership always replaces any wear items (brakes, tires etc.) that are not at least 50%, so we were happy. Although I was ready to hop in and take the car home, Jen encouraged us to test drive, and spent time helping us to become familiar with the car (which she had CLEARLY taken the time do for herself prior to selling it). After a nice drive to the ocean and back, Jen went over all of the loan paper work in great detail, and made absolutely sure we were happy with everything. There was never any pressure, and we felt that we were dealing with an honest, upfront salesperson. The price of the vehicle was more than fair, and the condition was better than expected. My husband is very particular and hard to please/impress, but he was incredibly happy with the experience. This was absolutely the best buying experience we've had. We'll be back the next time we're in the market! More
I purchased a car that had a number of problems that should have been taken care of before it was sold. The rear brake pads has less than 2mm thickness which should not have passed inspection, yet it d should have been taken care of before it was sold. The rear brake pads has less than 2mm thickness which should not have passed inspection, yet it did at their facility. The rotors were also bad and needed to be replaced. The timing belt was also in poor condition (badly cracked) and needed to be replaced. My impression is they are not really checking the cars out before putting them up for sale. Also, they say the car comes with a 30 day/ 1000 mile powertrain warranty. What they don't say is that the warranty only covers 50% of the parts and labor. Generally I think their cars are good but be careful and have the car thoroughly checked by an independent mechanic. More
