Bought an suv from them. Within a few weeks the check engine light came on, as well as the tire monitor. I brought it back and paid 100’s of dollars to have it repaired by Paul. Not only did it take almo engine light came on, as well as the tire monitor. I brought it back and paid 100’s of dollars to have it repaired by Paul. Not only did it take almost 2 weeks to get repaired (time I went without a vehicle) but they literally just turned the lights off manually and did not fix anything. Unfortunately this suv has been plagued with expensive repairs ever since. Would never buy there again. More
Horrible * (0 Stars) *I have never been one for writing reviews, however, I was profoundly disappointed at the lack of professionalism displayed by the team AN * (0 Stars) *I have never been one for writing reviews, however, I was profoundly disappointed at the lack of professionalism displayed by the team AND Rick the owner at Northeast Motors Inc in North Hampton, New Hampshire. Never in my life have I, or my significant other been more disrespected and mistreated by a group of people I was supposed to trust. Everything went well at the beginning of my purchase, despite having to pay for a costly inspection just to be told that a list of things needed to be fixed before I could take the car home to Maine. After leaving the car in New Hampshire for another week to have the parts put in and proper fluids changed, I finally got the car by driving back to New Hampshire. Skipping forward a week or two I noticed my coolant was abnormally low . . . and I just filled it the day before. . . this is when I called up the dealership, multiple times After being told I would be called back three days in a row. . it didn’t happen. So, once I finally called back a little more aggressively, I set a date for the following Friday ... Now, being a full-time college student and a part time nursing assistant, it is extremely difficult for me to find time to drive 2 hours to New Hampshire, and I had to call out of work just to get my coolant “checked” and be told it was fine. . . no one checked the coolant. After another day of spending $60+ on gas just to drive there and be told NOTHING, I went home.. and I was increasingly more upset. To spare the annoying details of calling back and forth and not getting a single answer, and wasting my time when I could be working or in school, skip ahead another week. At this point, I had spent nearly 150-200 just on gas to go back and forth because no one properly looked at my vehicle that was STILL UNDER WARRANTY. I had the right to be a little aggravated because I had to miss countless days of work that I couldn’t truly afford. After driving back to NH yet again, they finally looked under the car and realized, yes, something was wrong, but they didn’t value my opinion as the customer. My radiator had a hole in it and I had been driving it unaware for weeks. . . I looked at the car myself and I discovered the plastic bottom was filled with fluid. The part was ordered but no one cared to contact me when it came in, and the warranty ran out in just two days... I was running out of time to get the car fixed and they were hoping to get money from me when the warranty was no longer applicable. So, after calling and speaking with both an employee, and the owner Rick, I was told I had to pay for the radiator to be put in. I was broke and had already spent so much money driving there, the warranty SHOULD cover all repairs because I did not put a hole in the radiator in just 30 days . . . it was like that before I got it. At this point I was so emotionally drained that I could not speak on the phone without crying so I asked my significant other, who co-owns the vehicle with me, to call the dealership. Becoming more agitated himself, and I spoke my mind and was told by Rick to “shove the radiator up my xxx” and if I went there, I would be arrested. . . I was completely bewildered by the behavior of this man and he was now ignoring my calls. After contacting the North Hampton Police Department, I was told I had a trespassing warning on Northeast Motors, and if “I stepped on the property, I would be arrested.” I’m an 18-year-old FEMALE nursing student in college, what would I do to threaten them?? I did not verbally threaten them, I just questioned their judgment and became agitated because they were now ignoring my calls and refusing to put the radiator in. After speaking with the police, I was told they would send the radiator to the nearest AutoZone and I could never have contact with them again. I would never recommend this horrible dealership to anyone seeking a car. This was my first car and now I’m stuck with a car from a dealership that I can never contact again because of the trespassing warning. More
Good sales, terrible service It is hard to write this review. There are two distinct and polar opposite sides to this "dealership". I will list details of my ordeal with them b It is hard to write this review. There are two distinct and polar opposite sides to this "dealership". I will list details of my ordeal with them below, but in summary: Pros: Good sales customer care. Cons: Total technical incompetence (ether deceiving you or just do not know) - so do not believe a word they are saying for the condition of the car! Rude owners Dealership got lucky to acquire a very sought after car and people all over US wanted to buy it. I was the first and gave them deposit. I am 1500 miles away and was planning to fly in and drive it back. Thus, I really needed to know truth about car condition and asked many questions about it. Salesperson - Jen could not be nicer. She patiently responded to my many questions. But unfortunately, none of the technical answers she got from the service department were true. I do not know whether they deliberately misled me or they are just totally incompetent technically (I am leaning towards former). Asked about clutch, was told that it is perfect. Clutch was all worn and pedal required huge effort to press. Asked about tires - was told almost new - were 4/32nds. Asked about other issues - was told car is in amazing condition with no issues - power steering pump was dying.... Dealership was very nice to offer to do timing belt, which was due. They also replaced the battery and did the breaks. Again - great service on the surface, great intentions. Unfortunately to me they do not have technical abilities to do even the simplest job - breaks, let alone timing belt! The fact that when I picked up the car it had no coolant and my brake fluid was low should have been a warning sigh to me. Issues caused by the incompetent timing belt job were the worst: 1. When putting back the cooling fans, they dropped one mounting bolt into the channel on the bottom of the radiator, thus did not properly secure fans to the radiator (they did not replace the dropped bolt, just left fans secured by why was left). instead of being supported by the bottom, fans were suspended by the top. As a result, on the way home radiator cracked under the weight of the fans causing total failure 400 miles from home! After towing the car back, I contacted the dealer and they were "nice enough" to reimburse me for part of the towing, car rental and new radiator. 2. When putting timing belt, they did not use any gap tools (included with the timing kit) and pressed the guide into the timing belt. As a result, timing belt was totally destroyed within 10K miles. We luckily discovered it by chance. At the best estimate, timing belt has 2K left. The car has interference engine and if belt failed, the car would have needed new engine! This time dealership totally, rudely, and flatly refused to reimburse me for the parts needed to do the job. I contacted BBB but they could not help either. I only requested reimbursement for parts, which I thought was very reasonable. 3. Breaks made it home! But dealership used the cheapest parts possible and did not adjust them at all, so they were rattling and scraping all the way and required service when car was running again. 4. Even oil filter was leaking!! Bottom line: If you have service need: Run away from them! If they did any repairs or service on the car you are buying - go somewhere else or plan to redo the job as soon as possible. Do not believe any information they give you, verify everything! If you are just buying the car - sales stuff is caring and nice (still check the car!). Overall the repairs caused by the dealership “service” (radiator, towing, rental, timing job) were around $2,000. On top of that new power steering pump and new clutch (both supposedly in excellent condition) required another $2,000. Tires were another $800. Dealer reimbursed me $800 for the radiator. So, the “excellent condition – drive ready” car cost me extra unexpected $4,000. More
Great Used Dealer Great Overall Experience. I learned about the dealership by my new mechanic in Kensington NH as we are new to the area. I must say I was pleasantly Great Overall Experience. I learned about the dealership by my new mechanic in Kensington NH as we are new to the area. I must say I was pleasantly surprised with the selection and prices on used luxury vehicles upon viewing their website. I dealt with both Jennifer and Jake and both were professional and good to work with throughout the experience which we all know can be frustrating. The dealership dealt with the vehicle delivery to my mechanic in Kensington without me having to worry so he could give it a pre purchase inspection which went well and was refreshing as not all dealer will allow a pre purchase inspection. I picked up the vehicle two days ago, so I cannot speak for any vehicle longevity yet, but for a great used car at a great price shopping at a locally owned family business, this is a nice place to shop. We would go back again! More
Shopped the rest, bought from the best I was looking to buy a very good quality car and shopped three other area dealers as well as made extensive online comparisons. Felt like I would have I was looking to buy a very good quality car and shopped three other area dealers as well as made extensive online comparisons. Felt like I would have settled with other deals and certainly the other dealers. Came in after 6PM from Boston, drove the best car I found online here at Northeast but still drove two other cars at other dealers. Came back, drove the car again, noted a small problem and made them aware of it but told Jen I was interested in the Acura TL. Jen addressed the front brake pull immediately by replacing AND had a 4 wheel alignment done. Value priced an after market warranty program for me as well which was the best coverage offered at 50% less than I found online shopping via quotes. This was a very good experience without fail from start to finish. Best car, best price and some of the nicest people to deal with. Do your homework -but these guys pass the test. Joe M. More
Terrible customer service I contacted this dealership about one of the cars they had, they were very nice up until I asked for the car fax service history.the sales manager Jenn I contacted this dealership about one of the cars they had, they were very nice up until I asked for the car fax service history.the sales manager Jennifer replied with a rude message saying that if I want to buy a car based on the service history than that car is not for me,and that I should look elsewhere for a vehicle. This is definitely the only time a salesperson has ever told me to look elsewhere for a vehicle. I definitely will never shop at this dealer again. More

Lack of integrity If I could rate them 0, I would. I came to do business with this dealership solely for the car, not for the broken promises and lack of integrity. If I could rate them 0, I would. I came to do business with this dealership solely for the car, not for the broken promises and lack of integrity. My situation was a pre-existing issue prior to purchasing the car. I bought the 2009 Nissan Altima that they had for sale on their lot on Friday, May 27th. The sales manager, Jen sold me the car. The rear right tire had a large gauge in the tire (major safety issue), so she said they would get me a couple of new tires- her exact words when I brought the car back up there so she could inspect it herself. A couple days later, I bring my car to the dealership so they could replace my tires and the tech tells me that he was only told to replace 1 tire. They only ordered 1 new tire and to make matters worse, it was an off brand tire. My car now drives funny and I will need to have my back 2 tires replaced to match the front 2 tires. I am done dealing with this dealership and their unprofessional way of doing business. No integrity, lies on top of lies, and poor customer service. I have emails & text messages as proof that what I am saying is true. You have been warned. More

Good Expierence Today I bought a 2005 Audi A6 from North East Motors. I have only had the car less than 12 hours but so far the car seems to be in very good condition Today I bought a 2005 Audi A6 from North East Motors. I have only had the car less than 12 hours but so far the car seems to be in very good condition mechanically and cosmetically for the year. I was impressed with my experience and the employees as they were laid back but yet, professional. I would recommend going to North East Motors if you're looking for a used but like new vehicle. More
