Service department WARNING SCAM ALERT! On 3/27/19 I took my 2012 f150 in for recall work. While it was there I asked if they could listen to a sound coming from the passenger side front. Fo On 3/27/19 I took my 2012 f150 in for recall work. While it was there I asked if they could listen to a sound coming from the passenger side front. For $150. They would listen. I said ok. I received a call later and was told that to fix the problem I would have to replace the entire front suspension. The cost would be $2300.00. I said no and that I would get my regular mechanic, who has had his own shop for more than 30 years, to check it out. I took my truck in and left it thinking the worst. He called me and said he tightened six bolts, three on top of each strut. SIX BOLTS, THREE ON TOP OF EACH STRUT. Problem solved! I returned to north county ford and asked for my money back for a bogus and inaccurate diagnosis. I was treated, by the service manager, with a condescending, rude and disrespectful attitude. A lot more to the story. I tried to contact the main office three separate times with no response. This tells me that not only the service department is part of the scam but perhaps the entire dealership as well. CUSTOMERS BEWARE!!! More

What should have been a simple oil change.. I went in for oil change. Upon arriving home, clouds of smoke came out of the engine and the car smelled like burnt motor oil. The engine life was al I went in for oil change. Upon arriving home, clouds of smoke came out of the engine and the car smelled like burnt motor oil. The engine life was also not reset. I called back immediately and informed the service tech. I had to go back the next day. They discovered the motor oil had spilled all the way to the catalytic converter!! They told me they steam cleaned the engine. But the next day I still could smell the burnt motor oil smell inside the cabin. Had to call them back and they are willing to replace the cabin filter but why was that not done in the first place as a preventative measure? Now I need to go back a third time!! There is good follow up from both Jim and Alex on these issues. Received great customer service from both trying to make it right, but it's very frustrating and time consuming to keep having to go back for what should've been a SIMPLE oil change! More

FRAUDULENT & UNETHICAL finance manager told me that they were including LoJack protection on the interior not exterior of the truck and extended warranty never said that the finance manager told me that they were including LoJack protection on the interior not exterior of the truck and extended warranty never said that there was a cost involved and then after paperwork was signed they charged me $8,000 more for the price of the car for items that they never told me where extra. I bought for cars from them in the past and have had great experience but after this I will never buy a car from them again! More
The service department are really put together. I think the service department is fair. They take the time to listen to your problems and concerns about the car and then in a very reasonable time th I think the service department is fair. FRAUD!!!!! This is the MOST dishonest dealership there is. FRAUD!!! Didn't tell me there was a rebate on the vehicle I chose, then put it in the final paperwork as a down payment. The general manager just laughed at me. They were dishonest throughout the entire leasing experience. Not just one person but EVERYONE I don't see how they stay in business. Go elsewhere! More
