We have been to this dealership two times for a problem with our Tucson. In both cases the vehicle had electrical issues when vehicle was turned off requiring the vehicle to be towed to the dealership. On with our Tucson. In both cases the vehicle had electrical issues when vehicle was turned off requiring the vehicle to be towed to the dealership. On both occasions, the dealership let the vehicle sit for days without any communication with us. The service advisor who was assigned to our vehicle was off work for two days and we were told we needed to wait for him to return from time off so we could get an update. At one point we were told "the technician is looking at it right now", which was a lie as we have GPS on the vehicle which showed the vehicle had not moved since being dropped off. It was not until 3 days later and multiple phone calls that we got a diagnosis. The reported alternator failure was not consistent with the issue with the vehicle. The issue was occurring when the vehicle was turned off and exiting the car. There was no charging light on, battery is new etc. The issue seemed to be something alarm related. Once this was explained again, the advisor stated they could not duplicate any issues and this was a guess. They also recommended a coolant flush because the color of the coolant in the reservoir was not "green" enough. Highly technical determination! They also recommended the drive belt be replaced with the alternator even though this belt was only 6 months old and was practically brand new. The bottom line, this service department is very poorly managed: - Horrible communication -Lying - Improper diagnosis - Upselling repairs that are not needed I would not recommend this dealership to anybody. I was in a real sticky situation and I wasn’t sure if I could get into another truck. (I originally wanted a 3/4 ton, but stepped down to a 1/2 ton to make numbers work which I don’t fault them with at all could get into another truck. Erin was awesome to work with. Kept in contact with me the entire time. Jeff and Matt worked magic to get the deal done and my daughter is able to continue riding lessons (we haul in). I definitely recommend this group to anyone who’s got sticky credit. More
