We are a Toyota family through and through. .. but I have to say that Josh is top notch at Newbold! We love him so much, we've bought 2 Toyotas from him in 15 months!! We asked to see the shuttle van to test drive before putting our deposit down and he held it for us so we could take it for a spin - we had a price in mind for our trade and he made it happen! He's super friendly - doesn't mess around with unnecessary jargon, isn't pushy, & is completely happy with texting for quick communication back and forth. I told him we were on a crunch when it came down to getting the paperwork done and that's what happened. It really makes the process less stressful and more enjoyable. Thanks Josh! Before I tried inquiring in Newbold, I tried every dealerships around me from Subaru, Hyundai, Honda toToyota., Decatur, Champaign, Chicago, Indianap Before I tried inquiring in Newbold, I tried every dealerships around me from Subaru, Hyundai, Honda toToyota., Decatur, Champaign, Chicago, Indianapolis, Springfield, etc. even St Louis, MO. Honestly, I was not expecting much about Newbold but when I made the query online about this specific vehicle, Josh left me a message. We communicated through text. I've seen lots of videos about buying cars and how salespersons and finance managers are your enemies, they will pretend to be your friend but will betray you in the end, etc. When I talked to Josh, he seemed nice. I asked questions, he answered, no bs. That was easy. I thought to my self, Is there something wrong with this guy? He doesn't seem to be the same people being described in the youtube videos. We will see in person, I'm sure he will try to milk some cash on us. I made a reservation and the day came. When we arrived, the building is nice. People are very welcoming and accommodating. We looked for Josh but he was still talking to other clients, after few minutes he came to us, asked how are we doing, how are we gonna pay etc. We told him and okay, he let us signed the paper with the agreed price of the vehicle, he did what he had to do, and that was it. That really was easy. He was nice, accommodating, respectful, and really no bs. that's it. No forcing of anything. Then we went to the finance office, same happened with the finance officer, Robert. He was nice, welcoming, every one was nice there. He offered a service, we declined because of budget, he gave a huge discount, we declined, and okay. that's it. Congrats to our new car!. Though we regretted not getting one of the service offered but anyway, everything went great. Fast and easy. Let me tell you, I inquired to lots of dealerships, some of the videos that say they are bad, applies to some of them but not one bit applies to Josh, Robert and other staff. That was the best experience we had. I would really recommend Newbold Toyota! More

Good luck once you leave the lot Everything was fine until we drove away. Once you leave, they don't answer phone calls nor return messages. Had to chase them down for three weeks to get our "We Owe" ticket fulfilled that they promised would be ready in four days. After two weeks, they tell us the part is on back order and then the very next day we get an automated call saying the part is in. Funny how that works. Finance guy gave us incorrect information regarding the warranty we purchased, call him to question it and now he won't return our calls or messages. And good luck getting in touch with a manager, they don't return calls either. So far, vehicle is fine but their customer service is worse than subpar. Update: Received call from finance a few days after posting this review. At least they look at their reviews. More
