Don't take your vehicle to Nationwide for service I have owned many cars and have had them serviced at dealerships. Nationwide, is, far, the absolute worst. I didn't want to give them 1 star but had to in order to submit the review.. Took my vehicle in for service on work I had done eight months prior so it was supposed to be covered under warranty. They covered the labor but refused to cover the $129 part my car needed. I agreed to do it. The same day I got my vehicle back it began smoking and running hot....it hadn't done either of those things before. Within 3 days, I had the vehicle towed because it wouldn't start. I contacted the service dept manager, Carol Lester and the service dept director, Daryl Nay, via voice mail. I have yet to receive a call or email from either. I am now looking for another vehicle. Did I mention they kept my car approximately 45 days and it took the service advisor almost 3 weeks to even tell me what was wrong with the car! No excuse. More

A Genuine Pleasure to Deal With from Start to Finish I have dealt with a LOT of car dealerships during the course of my adult life, and have had experiences that range all over the spectrum -- from "abso I have dealt with a LOT of car dealerships during the course of my adult life, and have had experiences that range all over the spectrum -- from "absolute nightmares" to "it couldn't have been easier". My recent experience at Nationwide KIA in Lutherville was at the very highest end of the positive spectrum. Doug Lamkin (who was personally involved throughout the entire process) and his team are top notch people. From my initial internet inquiry with Christine Treptow through finance and delivery of my new 2016 KIA Optima, I experienced absolutely professional service and dealt with people who were friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. Mark Kim was the sales consultant who Doug had me work with, and he could not have been any easier to deal with. Cordial, polite, attentive, and very customer focused. I am glad to see Doug Lamkin back and running the show at Nationwide KIA -- I have dealt with him previously, and he is a straight shooter and super easy to work with. Take it from me, who never writes reviews, and I mean this sincerely -- if you or anyone you know is looking at KIA, make sure they check out Nationwide KIA in Lutherville. A+ in my book!!! More
Lied and tried to overcharge a warranty issue I took my Kia to this service center due to an emissions warranty issue. I was quoted almost $400 to fix a filter and a gas cap. I said no way. Turns out my evap canister was cracked and that part was a $300 part. Kia lied and tried to charge me to recoup their money/labor for a warranty covered item. I refused, and took my car to Jones. My car is being repaired - under warranty - at no charge. I've also been unsuccessful in getting a refund for my diagnostic test from Nationwide. HORRIBLE service center. I will never go there again. More
Trust me, you want to visit Nationwide Kia!! I'm 22 and a first time buyer. I had one horrible attempted buying experience at another dealership two years ago and it took me until just now to be I'm 22 and a first time buyer. I had one horrible attempted buying experience at another dealership two years ago and it took me until just now to be able to look into cars again. I spent two full weeks looking into cars,their MSRP's, dealership ratings, and insurance costs. Nationwide Kia had the best reviews of all, and I had driven a SOUL before so I decided to go there. I got in contact with Christine Belt before heading over to the dealership, where I was asked what color and model car I wanted.I got to the dealership at 4:15. I was immediately greeted by Luke Mackenzie. The salesmen were not overbearing, but incredibly friendly and not intimidating. I sat down with Luke and was very nervous; this was a HUGE purchase for me and I went in without a parent or an experienced car buyer. Luke made me feel at home very quickly, he offered me water and coffee and then we got down to business; the kind of car I was looking at, what I could afford to put down as a down payment and what I wanted to pay per month. My information was given to Finance and we went to test drive the car. The new Kia 2014 has so many features the past years didnt; blue tooth, rear seats that fold down completely, XM radio, extra cup holders, and so much more. When we got back to the dealership, I was met with what a few banks at offered Kia, way too much money, but I was desperate to buy a car. After a long while, Kathleen Walsh comes out. She is the head of Finance. She sat down and was very sweet, but honest. She told me she didn't like the deal that the banks offered (14.9% with 3500 down!!!!). She kept reiterating that she was a mother and wouldnt want her own kids to pay that much. It was horribly disappointing, but Kathleen comforted me so much and made me feel so much better about the situation. She went BACK to work with the Banks and argued the best she could for me. Luke and I were at his desk for quite some time. We talked about movies,books,his family, my family; He was seriously the best salesman I could have ever gotten. I forgot so many times where I was, I felt like I was talking with a friend. Kathleen comes back out and tells me I will need a cosigner. She seemed so upset that she couldnt help me out. I know some dealerships would have been upset that they couldnt make a sale, but I didn't get that vibe in the slightest ( I've been in sales for years). We discussed a cosigner and Luke and I exchanged numbers so that I would be able to update him further about the situation. I left the dealership at 8:30. Fast forward two days and I was able to get a cosigner. I called Luke right away and gave him as much information as I could. He called my cosigner to get the rest. Fast forward another two days. My phone rings and its Kathleen Walsh! She tells me "Congrats Marybrett! I was able to get you approved!!!" I have never had someone sound so excited for me. We discussed that I would go in the following day to discuss rates and see what we could do. She calls me back fifteen minutes later and offered to come pick me up 25 minutes away to work on the paperwork tonight!! It was already 8:30 and I knew they closed in half an hour. At first, I felt some pressure, but I decided to go in and see what Kia was willing to offer me, after all, it was after hours and I felt like I wouldn't be rushed. I get to the dealership and all I heard was good news!!! My rate went down to 3.9 and my downpayment went down to 1500!!! They helped me purchase insurance through Geico, gave me some temporary plates, and two hours later ( yes I left at 11:15) I drove home in my new Kia Soul!!!! From start to finish, Kathleen Walsh and Luke Mackenzie worked tirelessly to help me out. They gave me the absolute best service I could ever imagine and I am SO GLAD my first car buying experience was with them. I was in Kathleens office for two hours, asking her if she honestly thought the price was good and that I was going to be okay. I stand up and she gives me a hug. She tells me " Whoever raised you, raised you right". You want to buy from this dealer, they will do absolutely everything they can to help you out and make you feel that you are valued. More
This is where Ill come from now on. I will never go to any Kia dealership besides Nationwide Kia again! I had the absolute best experience buying my new Kia Sportage LX!
