Unfortunately once the car was purchased NONE of what was promised was followed through with! This place is a joke and should be shut down! I will keep going further to have this place investigated being the so called manager doesn’t return phone calls! Do a criminal background check, get the names you deal with here! More
Waste of time Don't be fooled by their low "online prices." The "internet price" only stands if you finance through them. I was aware of the certification fee, but Don't be fooled by their low "online prices." The "internet price" only stands if you finance through them. I was aware of the certification fee, but I think it's a bit overwhelming at $3,999. Expect every car to be $5,000 more than what it's listed for. What a waste of time. The sales manager also tried to make me believe that the Blue Book value of the car I was interested in was $7,000 more than what it really is. Jokes. Good luck to them. Especially with all these bad reviews I'm seeing now. More
Lemon car and bad business I went to buy a used car from NY OFF Lease in Copiague. I told them I wanted a car for 11,000. When it came to signing the papers with the Warranty it I went to buy a used car from NY OFF Lease in Copiague. I told them I wanted a car for 11,000. When it came to signing the papers with the Warranty it was 18,000. Okay, so I buy a 2017 Chevy Cruze with 42,000 miles. I get in the car and there's a receipt from NJ and a Dorito chip right on the floor in the front. There were crumbs on the side of my seat. The Bluetooth does not work and when I asked them to fix it and they couldn't, they told me to bring it to a Chevy dealer. They sold the car with a malfunctioning Bluetooth and tell me that's my problem to fix. The oil level was at 50%. I went back and asked for the oil change. Obviously the car was not checked over. Two weeks later I break down on the expressway. Bolts came off the compressor, freak thing. I go to use my warranty and find out that they sold me $200 deductible warranty instead of $100. I'm without a car for four days. I rent a car at my expense and I ask them to change the Warranty to the lower deductible. They said they did and when I called two weeks later it had not been submitted. I asked again. She said she did it. Two weeks later the engine is making a strange sound and the car isn't driving well. I bring it in again, I'm without a car for 1 day. I can't tell you what the problem was because I never got a bill. I've asked four times, each time to no avail. A month later the car breaks down AGAIN. Overheats on the expressway. I call the dealer and speak to the manager who says she will call the tow truck. I call the Warranty company to see if I can get a rental and find out no change was EVER put in to them. There was also no request for the tow truck. Another 90 minutes wasted. I call the dealer again and try to get the Warranty lady who is in but is not answering my calls or messages. I get an attitude from the male manager and no help from ANYONE!! I am a Lyft driver and have been without my new car three times already for a total of 5 days. That's lost income plus the rental car fees, that I am Out! This place sucks. I would never, ever deal with them again. I had no trouble with my old car and ONLY trouble with the car I bought from NY OFF LEASE in Copiague. 👎🏼 More
RIP off bad news , stay away unless you want to get ripped off. I gave plenty of chances for them to make it right and they apparently thought I was joking. bad news , stay away unless you want to get ripped off. Misleading After traveling a long way to get to this car dealer, for what seemed to be a "to good to be true price" , it turned out to be just that. The car was After traveling a long way to get to this car dealer, for what seemed to be a "to good to be true price" , it turned out to be just that. The car was advertised at 22k online and after all their additional fees which are non-negotiable the price was 26k. So after hours of negotiations I managed to work out a deal i would trade my current car in for 19,568 (I owe 17k)and we got to 22,100. The manager agreed to this price but then when he went into the finance office he came back out and said that the numbers were wrong and that they were off due to a mistake on their end by a grand and change so then I was at 23k and change. So we were back at it he would not budge. Then the GM shows up and here we go now I'm told that they offered to much for my trade and had to take back their offer and only offered 18k. After that I walked away I left frustrated and unsatisfied with my visit DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! More
Bad experience (Do Not Recommand) I honestly thought I would have a good experience but it wasn’t. First and foremost they do not check their cars before they sell them!! I got my 2017 I honestly thought I would have a good experience but it wasn’t. First and foremost they do not check their cars before they sell them!! I got my 2017 Nissan Maxima recently and it was literally one thing after another. First one of my tires was no good , than one of my front lights were out and than I got pulled over to find out that my tail light was out! I had to keep coming back for them to fix things and when I came back they would keep the car all xxx*** day!! They are also VERY good liars whatever it takes to get a sale literally! They also sold me a bootleg memory chip for my gps which they claimed they took my car to Nissan for them to program it and again this took ALL day! Just for them to come back and lie and say Nissan was trying to charge them $180 to program it but come to find out by me calling Nissan myself and they told me it wasn’t true! Again I highly DO NOT recommend anybody going to this dealer! Very BAD experience. More
Lousy Mechanics and shoddy repairs I bought a car over the summer from this so called dealership. The car has had multiple oil leaks since then, primarily from plugs and parts that were glued together by their repair shop. I’m sure it was to sell the car fast. The price was right but as the old adage goes.... “If it looks too good to be true...”. The car is not protected under the NY state Lemon Law due to its age. I realize how dishonest and irresponsible these used car shops are and NY Off Lease is no different. $5,000 in repairs so far that were not covered under warranty. Lesson learned.. avoid this dealership at your own peril. More
One star is far too generous AVOID. This place is the definition of sleazy car salesman!!!! One star is far too generous. I wasn't going to write a review, but now I feel compe AVOID. This place is the definition of sleazy car salesman!!!! One star is far too generous. I wasn't going to write a review, but now I feel compelled to. When we first sat down with the salesman, the first thing we said is that we had been pre-approved for a 2.99% loan through our bank. He said, "OK", so we continued. We tried to negotiate on the price and were told it was firm and they couldn't go any lower. We were ok with that since the sticker price was comparable to other dealers. After spending over 5 hours there ironing out the details it was time to see the finance guy. I said to the salesman, "we're doing this with our 2.99% loan, right?" He said, "I have no idea, I'm not the finance guy." So, to no one's surprise we sit down and he tells us that he got us "a great rate at 5.99%" We said, no way. We already have a 2.99% ready to go. He says that the price we're paying for the car is based on going through their financing. I told him this is unacceptable. He had the audacity to tell me it's not that much of a difference, anyway. We had already signed the deal and were in a time constraint with a current lease, so we reluctantly had to take it. Sticker price was about $17,500. After putting down $5,000 the remainder on the loan was still somehow $17,500. That's how much you can expect in 'additional fees' from these guys, As we were going over it once more before driving off the lot, we noticed the door panel was popping off at the top. The owner said, "it's still under manufacturers warranty, take it to the dealer. So today I take it to the Dodge dealer today and the service tech is looking up the vehicle's history. He says to me, "Oh, so you got the car from Enterprise!" I said no we didn't. He showed me the cars' history and it was an Enterprise rent-a-car. The salesman told us "it was an executive rental". I asked what that was. He said the vehicle was leased out to a single company for use for one of their executives. Liars!!! We never would have purchased this car if we were told the truth about it being a rent a car. Unless you want an unpleasant experience and don't mind being lied to and getting ripped off, then I suggest you go elsewhere for your vehicle. On the bright side, I transferred the loan to my bank at 2.99% before the first payment was due so the sleazy finance guy will no longer get any commission from his unethical tactics. More

worst experience ever!!! By far, the worst car buying experience I've ever had!!! since 1 star is the lowest rating i can give, they get 1 star, they deserve 0 stars!! they ar By far, the worst car buying experience I've ever had!!! since 1 star is the lowest rating i can give, they get 1 star, they deserve 0 stars!! they are your best friend till you sign on the dotted line, then your life is ruin. I made a mistake by signing before the car was detail. when i went to close on deal the next day, the car had scuff marks, scratches and smelled like some smell i can't explain. The sales guy says to me, the detail guy was off yesterday, bring it any time to get it professional detail, it will look like it just came out of the show room. i text the sale guy and told him i need it detailed and and sunday is the only time i can drop it off. He says, " Not on sundays". so I said "what about monday?" he said "fine, come 9:30am" I took the day off, drop the car off and paid a cab for $25 to get home. so now I don't have a car to get around, taking cabs everywhere i have to go, plus an additional $25 to go and pick up the car. they call me at 5 pm and tells me that they need to hold the car an additional day so i won't ruin the detail work they performed. i told them i can not be without a car, i need the car to get back to work. so that point they offer to give me a loner car. I told them i would be there be closing time (8 pm). I took a cab and got there by 6 pm. the car was as filty as i drop it off, they lied to me!!! I was so irate that i spent about $100 in cab fares to get around that dayand they didn't even touch the car. I then research the car value, looks like i over paid by $8000 retail value. went shopping to refinance the loan and got a quote of 3 points less than was given by that crooked "arthur bieler III", the finance guy. but only if i bring the loan $8000 down from my own money, cause the car is value at $8000 less than I purchase from " NY Off Lease". Do not let them run your credit. go finance from some where else. Better yet, Don't buy a car from those guys. They are crooks!!! I have pictures and texts and recorded phone calls to prove it More
