Kira was there the day I went in to pick up my new car. I had purchased it from Scott who was out sick. Kira stepped in and gave me all the time in the world. She walked me through every setting. Bought our car at and always had great service from the previous owner, Jody Wilkinson Acura. This was our first time getting maintenance with the new owners Murdock Acura. We had oil and several other flu previous owner, Jody Wilkinson Acura. This was our first time getting maintenance with the new owners Murdock Acura. We had oil and several other fluids changed for almost $600 (pricy but not too unexpected). However the next day the engine overheating warning came on. Called in to let them know the concern and that we were just there getting the fluids changed and they were only concerned with quoting us two different diagnosis and and maintenance fees (another $500+) just to bring it in and figure it out. Not even concerned about the obvious likelihood that they might have failed to properly perform yesterdays maintenance or the major issue that driving our car 20 minutes to downtown with the engine overheating might actually cause severe damage. Worried that the car wouldn’t be able to make it back to Murdock we took it to the local Jiffy Lube (6390 Highland Dr). They quickly checked the oil and fluids and let us know that the coolant was completely empty. They graciously filled it for free and we were out of there in a few minutes! 95% sure that the techs at Murdock forgot to refill the coolant when they were changing it. Thank you Jiffy Lube for going above and beyond and helping us avoid a car catastrophe! The way this was handled by the Murdock maintenance was a complete failure of customer service. We are about due for a new car and not sure if I can trust this dealership. Shout out to Jiffy Lube who went above and beyond and earned a new customer! More
