Everyone is willing to get on line and complain when they don't get treated well or don't get what they wanted because they didn't do their homework. It's human nature. especially here in Southern California. I'm 60 years old. This is the first time I've ever been treated well enough to spend a few minutes off my personal time to provide feed back as requested to anybody. I just don't do it. So check this out............Background: I value and protect my time and get upset when people xxxxxxxx me or waste my time. (Time is irreplaceable.....) The wife and I had been doing our homework (Ford/Toyota/Chevy and RAM) for about tow months. We finally got it down to a RAM 1500. We visited two different Dodge/RAM dealers looking for our new truck. Both dealerships were professional , but housed the stereotypical car salesman. I almost blew a gasket when the Glendora RAM salesmen tried to xx me on what HEMI stood for and started the pressure cooker routine telling me that there were only three vehicles meeting my criteria and two of them were in Az. Within 3 minutes, we excused ourselves and walked out. All we were looking for was a white, standard cab, Ram 1500 with a short bed, chrome package, trailer package and the 5.7 HEMI V-8 with the infamous 8 speed automatic trans. The following week, I was talking with an associate at work. He told me he had a buddy at Moss Brothers that was a no bull salesman. On the way back from a job site we stopped in and i was introduced to his sales buddy at Moss Brothers. He told me that he had 6 of them in stock and brought one out front for me to look at and test drive. I showed the sales guy my notes from the other guys. When he gave me the final price in writing, I told him that i would back to pick it up on Saturday morning. None of the how much do you want to spend junk. SATURDAY: The wife and I arrived a little before 10:00 on Saturday morning and were on our way home by 11:00. (OK, maybe it was 11:10) When we got there, the truck was full of fuel, had been cleaned and was ready to go. just like they said. We spent 30-40 minutes with the finance guy and were on our way home. Moss Brothers team sold me my truck in less than 15 minutes. I'm flipping happy!!!!! Excellent Gary in the Collision Center was patient, kind, and explained every detail to me regarding my car! Terrible Customer Service I have had multiple issues at San Bernardino Moss. Today when I arrived to participate in the free oil change program I was informed they now only tak I have had multiple issues at San Bernardino Moss. Today when I arrived to participate in the free oil change program I was informed they now only take appointments for this service. It would be ideal if they placed this information on the website or informed customers before they came. Next, I was setting up an appointment for my vehicle due to the car shaking when it is at an idol at stop signs or stop lights, a bulge in the tire (I purchased at this site) and my transmission acting up. I was informed they needed my vehicle for at least four days to perform these repairs. As a working professional, this is not an option. Next, we were informed for the first time since February 2015 that I had to pay to have my cabin filter changed, and my tires rotated to receive a free oil change. Considering they had never forced this cost on me during my previous oil changes or prior visits I was extremely confused, especially since my cabin filter was changed recently by my boyfriend, and the tires had been rotated a month ago. When we (my boyfriend and I) asked to speak to the service manager Josh Davis we were met with antagonistic behavior and comments. We asked why these charges were necessary since we had already performed the service ourselves, and they had never been forced on us in the past. At this Mr. Davis said it was part of the program and that is how it works. When we explained he had recently changed the cabin filter he confrontationally asked, "So if I walk out there right now and check the cabin filter will it be new?" and we stated, "Yes," because it is. Again we stated the tires had been rotated recently and again, Mr. Davis aggressively asked, "How much does Costco charge?" In which, I do not know, my boyfriend takes care of all our vehicle needs. Mr. Davis continued to escalate the situation stating he would get a sales manager to explain the free oil service program to us since we were ignorant to the rules of the program. My boyfriend asked Mr. Davis if they were going to perform the services being requested, Mr. Davis replied, "How much clearer do I need to be?" In which we asked "Is it a yes or no?" he refused to answer, and continued to make the same condescending remarks. Mr. Davis' continued abusive comments and behavior made me uncomfortable to leave my vehicle there since last time this happened it came back with a broken windshield in which they refused to fix. In addition, when I explained my Jeep was having transmission problems (for the fourth time in two years) I was told it is normal for the nine-speed transmission. It is not normal for a car to slam into a gear so hard that it jerks the passengers forward, and gives them whiplash in the process. It is inappropriate that each time I need to have my care serviced I have to go through this inappropriate customer service process. My vehicle has had continuous issues over the past two years, and every time I am met with this behavior. I understand that not all cars work perfectly all the time, but considering the multitude of issues I have had with this vehicle in a short period of time you would be met with a little respect and compassion.
