They seem to forget to tell the customer all the important information of their products and services. Once they get the sale, they do not care about the customer anymore and if you need help, just forget about it. In this particular instance we are focusing on extended warranties. As everyone who has bought a used car, certified car, or new car and has kept it past the factory warranty has experienced when buying a warranty, they can be used anywhere that has a certified mechanic to perform the work. However, in this case, Moon Ford does not tell you if you don’t bring it back to them for service and decide to take your car to another establishment within 45 miles of Moon Ford, the warranty is not honored. The reality is that they have the power to override this at their discretion and just chose not to. They chose not to help the customer out. They do not care what the cost to you is, that you may have to pay to have your vehicle towed again, you may be paying another location for work they’ve already started, such as finding the issue or giving you a loaner vehicle. No matter the case, it is the worst news hearing after your car broke down and was towed to the nearest dealership, or the establishment of your choice, that the car is unable to be fixed unless you pay out of pocket when the item is covered by a warranty that you spent thousands of dollars on. The fact that a dealership feels the need to hold this control over their customers to ensure they get paid when we live in a free country and are entitled to making our own choices and choosing where we want to have the vehicle that we own serviced, just goes to show you how unethical they are. The reality is that not all car dealerships are sleezy, and there are several dealerships that are great and will help you as much as they can, but Moon Ford is not one of them. You can see this is not the first time there has been an issue with a customer as their online public reviews and ratings prove that. The BBB (Better Business Bureau), which Moon Ford is not accredited on and does not even hold a business profile with manages to have 3 registered complaints. On Yelp they have a 2-star rating and 9 negative reviews, with only 4 positive reviews. Their Facebook rating is 3.4 out of 5 with several negative reviews highlighting horrible customer service, overcharging customers, terrible management, pushy salesmen, etc. On Google they hold a 3.7-star rating with all the same negative reviews by customers. Lastly, Dealer Rater has them at a 2.5-star rating where there are 12 out of 13 all negative reviews. We urge everyone looking to buy their next car to do as much research as they can, and to look at all the customer reviews. More
Had fuel pump issues for 3-4 months. Rob the service director and Ralph a service advisor were awesome to work with. Due to Covid-19 pump on back order for months. Horrible Service Department I noticed an odd noise coming from my vehicle in August. I had to wait 5 weeks to get an appointment despite my car still being under warranty. They refused to explain the problem and it's still continuing. They never return your calls. I've left over 8 message for a service advisor who has never called me back. If you call in and get another employee, who did kindly call to let me know he couldn't help, all they do is transfer you to the first person who doesn't call back. Do not get any service done at this dealership they are insanely unreliable and untrustworthy. More

Ford has extended the warranty on all ford focus of this year to 100,000 miles. We called Mood Township ford and they said they can not see the car until November 12th. 30 days from now. If I take the car to anyone other than a ford dealer I would have to pay for the repair. Fortunately I called Crivelli ford Aliquippa pa and they would look at tomorrow. We had the car towed there and they completed the repair as well as took care of other recalls. We now have the car back and it is running well. Too bad Moon township Ford could not provide this level of quality service for warranty repairs. More

Damaged car during service visit We took our Ford Escape here for a service check last week. When we picked it up there was a crack in the center console. We showed it to them immediately. The manager was “tied up” and we were told he would call us later. After they dodged our calls for a week they finally got back to us saying that they were not taking responsibility for the damage. I’m absolutely disgusted by their disrespect and lack of professionalism. We have had several issues with their service department over the past year. I will never go back to this place. More
Dissapointment with Moon Township Ford 's service department I took my 2015 F-150 in to repair a squealing e-brake . The first appointment I dropped the truck off Thursday night for Friday. Went to the dealers I took my 2015 F-150 in to repair a squealing e-brake . The first appointment I dropped the truck off Thursday night for Friday. Went to the dealership on Friday to pick up the vehicle and it wasn't done. I told them I would be picking it up and they never called to say the vehicle was not ready. They said it would be done on Saturday morning first thing so I had to leave the vehicle for the second night. Arrived first thing on Saturday to pick up the vehicle and well I guess first thing means 11:45 am. The second appointment for the same repair was scheduled for 13 Aug 2018. On 12 Aug 2018, dropped the vehicle off in the evening to be serviced again on 13 Aug 2018 for the squealing e brake. I called at 8 am to let the service department know that I needed to pick the vehicle up by 5 o'clock. The individual said they would inform the service department. I then called at 12:30 to check on the vehicle and was told the service manager for Ford, Joe, was busy with a client and he would return my call. Because I never received a call back, at 2:30 I called again and was able to speak with Joe. He explained that the truck was not looked at yet and would probably not be looked at until 3 or so. I was informed that if the truck needed a part that they would order it and I would have to leave the vehicle or return the next day. I said this was unacceptable and that I needed the vehicle at 5 pm. Joe called at 4:30 to say that the vehicle was done and ready to pick up. I picked up the vehicle and as I drove out of the lot the squealing was back. I paid $100.00 deductible on my extended warranty to have this vehicle fixed and this is the 2nd trip and nothing has been done. I was told they had to adjust the brake. Obviously that is not the problem. I immediately called Joe when I returned home and he said I could bring it back in the morning. I have a full time job and do not have the time to go back and forth to Ford to leave my vehicle. So here I am needing a third appointment to try and have the squealing e brake fixed. I am going to take it back for the third time but not to this dealership. If their technicians cannot fix a squealing ebrake it makes me wonder if they could fix a more serious problem. More
Amazing that they let such poor work leave their facility. Had an issue with my passenger-side rear view mirror. A nearby garage reattached it, but it didn't sit flush and I was unsure if it would stay on. So I took it to Moon Twp Ford to use genuine OEM parts and get it done right. I was away on business, so my wife did the drop off and pick up. They had to order parts from Ford, which took a few days. When she picked it up, they charged $300 and told her "it still doesn't sit flush" Why would you not repair the issue that I paid for, admit it and then still charge for it? When I got home, I looked at the car and they had also forgotten to re-attach the inner door trim completely AND the passenger-side window not longer rolled all the way down. Not only did they not fix what I paid to have fixed, they made it worse! I had to make another appointment, drop the car off, arrange for transportation both ways again (no offer of a shuttle or assistance with transportation). No apologies from the dealership, no offers to help out in some way for their mistake, just "bring it back in and we'll take a look". This time, the mirror looks better and the window works, but they ignored the interior trim...I had to re-attach it myself. I asked specifically to have that taken care of, and it was clearly visibly to anyone working on the car, but they apparently have no quality control or quality checks before they release a car. Good thing I didn't have them change my tires, they probably don't check lug nuts either! At least they didn't try to charge me more. More

I asked the salesman Deal House, hypothetically what would happen if my quarter panel rusts in 10 years Deal House said, I quote" we will replace it". Well, after only 7 years and 50k miles on my truck which was garage kept for the first four years, my quarter panel and fenders are rusting away. After contacting Ford Corp. they referred me back to the dealership which got me know where. I spoke with someone claiming to be the Service Manager only for him to say "We can't do anything for you". I also explained to the Service Manager and Ford Corp. this wasn't my only problem with my truck. It is leaking along the roof from the headliner and when it rains the interior gets wet. Only to be told "Its out of warranty.This dealership does not stand behind there product and hires liars. I would never under any conditions buy another Ford car or truck especially from Moon Twp. Ford. Moon Twp did not care one bid, they were only concerned about making the initial sale. More
