I bought my Camry in 2009. After putting 24 thousand miles on it, my front tires worn out totally. I took my car to this dealer and they told that I did not rotate my tires. I tried to ask for any check miles on it, my front tires worn out totally. I took my car to this dealer and they told that I did not rotate my tires. I tried to ask for any check up on shocks hence my cousin (a mechanic) and some friends advise me to ask for (plus shocks were under warranty at the time) ; however, this dealer insisted that there was no problem with shocks, so I believed what they said and I bought a set of tires. Four months ago the rear tires worn out and I decides to buy the other set. Then, after almost 14 thousand miles from purchasing the front set, this set worn out again. I took my car to my cousin shop and he told me that it is clear to see the shocks leaking, so we took my car again to this dealer to replace shocks but the manger over there said that there is nothing wrong with shocks and the new tires worn out because of the bad quality (beside the shocks were not under warranty any more). I gave up going back and forth to this dealer since there was no any good service and understanding from the begging. I replace the four shocks in my car and the mechanic showed me how they were defective. So in general, since I bought my New Camry in 2009, I replace two set of tires and four shocks and I am going to buy the third set soon. After this bad experience with Toyota and this dealer, Toyota will be my last choice to buy a car from. More
My 2000 4Runner had a "drive train" noise that sounded like a bad wheel bearing. I took the car in for repair of "the noise". They replaced a rear wheel bearing for $423.07. I drove the car home and the noise was still there and EXACTLY the same. I noticed that the invoice had the mileage in/out as the same amount of milage. They had NOT test driven the car. I called to complain and they asked me to bring the car back in. I returned the car and left it over night. The next day they stated that the car ALSO needed a new differential which was the part "making the noise'. They could install a "reconditioned" unit for $920.00 more. I informed them that before I had any more work performed by them (to fix the noise) that I wanted them to credit me back the $150.00 labor they charged me to install the wheel bearing I did not need (no noise reduction). I also stated that I would pay for the new part/bearing they had installed as that was only fair. They stated that it would take several days to get the reconditioned differential so I retrieved my car. The last time I heard from them they were going to "talk to a manager" regarding the $150.00 credit for the missdiagnosis labor amount. That was two weeks ago (from this posting), still no word from them. I am a senior citizen on blood pressure med's and was so upset by this nonprofessional conduct that last week I went across McHenry and purchased a 2008 Honda element from Mistlin. I would rather switch to Honda than put up with this type of conduct at this Toyota dealer. More

He always greets me kindly and makes me feel well taken care of. The waiting area is clean and comfortable or if I need it, they take me where I need to go. Yesterday was no exception - my car was serviced efficiently at a fair price and courtesy shown to me by not only Mike, but the others in the office and service department as well. Even the nice gentleman who brought my car around was smiling and pleasant. These trusted employees keep me coming back. More
The service representative was very clear in what the service would entail and price. When there was a potential issue, she came and found me in the customer lounge and made sure that I had all the infor service would entail and price. She was warm, personable and very knowledgeable about the vehicle and its service needs. She also had a way of making me feel important and exclusive. Very excellent customer skills. The car was finished and washed in a very short time and I was on my way. I would definitely recommend Modesto Toyota for purchase and service of a vehicle. More
Very friendly sales staff , I walked in at 730 pm friday night after looking at five different dealerships around Modesto and Manteca looking to trade in my two door for a four door sedan. I met Charlie on the lot to see if there was anything I liked . I saw a few but nothing in my price range until we saw a 2011 corolla sport with only 6k on it . I took it for a test drive and couldn't believe the power , handling , quality and all the options it had . On my trade I received much more than expected , now my daughter and I have a fun safe car to get us where we are going thank you Modesto Toyota . Btw the car pulled a little to the right so Aaron England took care of the problem and had it detailed , the car looks brand new . The shuttle service was very friendly and convent thank you Mo . When I call or have a problem I always get the best and fastest service ever. I'm uasualy called within an hour to let me known what the problem is and what needs to be done. I don't even mind the routine oil changes since I've been coming to Toyota here in Modesto, it's so quick and easy. My favorite person there is Mike Wilson in the service department, in fact I make my appointments when he is there because he really seams to know what he's doing and lets me know what services that I should be looking to do next or at least soon, or if it can wait a little. As a single woman it's nice to feel you can trust the person within the company your doing business with. Thank you for the wonder service. This is where I bought my car, and I still love it to this day. It still seems as if it were just last year, but it was way back in 2004. Mike Wilson has been the service advisor that I have dealt with for at least 25 years. He is the reason that I take my vehicles to Modesto Toyota. I have two Toyota vehicles. The one time that I did not dealt with for at least 25 years. He is the reason that I take my vehicles to Modesto Toyota. I have two Toyota vehicles. The one time that I did not use Mike, I was not happy with the result. He is the most knowledgeable and most pleasant service person that I have ever dealt with. I have never had a problem when he has taken in my vehicle for service. I would say that your mechanics must be very good also. More
I went in for a lube and oil change. I had an appointment. The work was done within an hour. The cost was $31.49 for my Prius. My car was washed for free. I was greeted by my name. This dealer has greatly improved the service in the past 3 years. I have been getting my service done here since I bought my car new in 2002. During the entire period, I have never had to return my car because the work was done incorrectly. The cost of the service seems reasonable for the quality provided. The dealer provides a free shuttle for customers who don't want to wait. The service hours have been extended so that having work done at this facility is very convenient. I give this vendor my highest recommendation. More
