Upon arrival the service writer wanted the vehicle all day. Told him that wouldn't work and I called ahead. He was very nice but apparently new to the position and did not have the information he needed to inform me. Upon my return his supervisor/trainer did her very best to overcome my frustration and provided a free oil change and car wash. She then explained the dealerships recommended service frequencies for my vehicle. Everything coming with fairly steep costs that with some research can be performed for much less with the exception that with my particular vehicle only the dealership can perform due to proprietary fluids and diagnostics. Everything that needed a diagnostic including the TPMS sensor was another cost just to diagnose. After consulting with another mechanic shop about the suggested service frequencies it appears to me that the dealership wants to perform maintenance that is unnecessary and costly. Summarily, I purchased my new vehicle from this dealership three years ago and felt very comfortable with the experience. Now I am not inclined to trust what appears to be the standard over-servicing for profit for which most large dealerships have now earned the reputation. More

I have also observed her interactions with others and have always been impressed with her preparation and professionalism in giving options to her customers. She then has given solid estimates on return to service times and costs. And gets the job done. More

I was told to have one part switched replaced, which I did and paid for. The issue wasn't resolved so that's when it was suggested a diagnostics be done on the car to figure out the problem. Not sure why there wasn't a diagnostic done first before I was charged for unnecessary repairs. I appreciate the friendliness of the staff but feel like I wasted time and money. More
