Great service I took my car in for a couple of things. One was to replace the handbrake cover. I had purchased the part separately. The tech manager did the repa I took my car in for a couple of things. One was to replace the handbrake cover. I had purchased the part separately. The tech manager did the repair out in the driveway at no cost. Only took him 20-25 minutes to do it. The second thing I had done was to replace some clips that hold the rubber trim around the roof. That took a little longer, but the service department always kept me updated on status of the repair. It took longer than expected so they threw in free engine treatment. Really impressed by the communication and the quality of their work. Highly recommended. More

Till I met Henery at the Monrovia dealership very professional great customer service, I was so happy with the service I bought my mini right there and then! Went back a couple of times excellent service!! But now I went to service my vehicle and I was so unhappy that am not going back they suck with there service now!! More
In for Routine Service, Loaner car, Pleasant experience In for routine service (service needed light was on), the service department was super busy and my car wouldn't be ready in a few hours but I was ok w In for routine service (service needed light was on), the service department was super busy and my car wouldn't be ready in a few hours but I was ok with that. Service Advisor Kassandra Villatoro was very courteous, professional and pleasant. She kept me informed on the progress and findings from the initial inspection. All in all, everything was A+. The only recommendation i would have is to make the loaner cars available sooner, I had to reserve a car a week in advance and had to work my schedule around based on the loaner. More

Worst Mini Dealer Ever! I personally would never buy another Mini from this Dealer. I Purchased my 2016 Countryman from them just about 3 weeks ago. They also had a mini co I personally would never buy another Mini from this Dealer. I Purchased my 2016 Countryman from them just about 3 weeks ago. They also had a mini convertible in the showroom. We had discussed holding it for my mom, as she was moving to CA in less they 2 weeks and they agreed to hold it for her. They out of the blue I found out they had sold it. I don't have a problem with not being able to hold the car but do not promise me you will and then sell it out from under me, and then try and sell me some 12 year old car with 100,000 miles on it. More

Terrible Communication ABSOLUTELY NO FOLLOW UP. I WAS LEFT IN THE DARK FOR 7 HOURS. I dropped off my car right at 7:20am for my scheduled appt. for a check engine light. ABSOLUTELY NO FOLLOW UP. I WAS LEFT IN THE DARK FOR 7 HOURS. I dropped off my car right at 7:20am for my scheduled appt. for a check engine light. I was informed by my service advisor Parkson Yee that he would give me a call mid morning with an update. Noon time came, no call. I called and left a message on his direct line 626-256-4062 Called again an hour later, no answer. Called the general service line at 626-256-4092 and they tired paging him. No answer. I left another message. I am at work and was dropped off by their shuttle service so I am stranded at work and also have a 2 year old I need to pick up after work. Called again at 2:30 pm and left another message. I tired calling the general service line, no answer. I called again 10 mins later, no answer. I FINALLY get a call back from Parkson Yee at 2:53pm. My FIRST call since I dropped off my vehicle at 7:20am and was informed that their computer system has been having issues all day and they couldn't diagnose the issue until recently. Found out that the thermostat needs to be replaced and has been causing the indicators to go off. They will not have it until tomorrow. Could not guarantee that I would have my vehicle back today and wasn't sure that they would be able to provide me a loaner. I understand issues occur, BUT if I was updated at the time they told me that I would get an update then I would have been able to make arrangements for transportation. ABSOLUTELY INEXCUSABLE to leave your customers hanging without any information what so ever. At this point, I am beyond pissed off. A phone call earlier in the day with some kind of update/any update would've alleviated all of this. In the end, they got me a loaner and I am waiting for their shuttle so that I can get the loaner and re-strap the child seat in the back. I've had several other cars before my mini and dealt with numerous mechanics, some were mom and pop shops. I have never had an issue with communication nor alternate transportation all the dozens of times I had to have services done. If this is the kind of crappy service they are providing, I will find somewhere else to go. More
Great Buying and Service Experience My wife and I went looking for a fun, two person convertible. We walked into the Mini store of Monrovia and saw a John Cooper Works Convertible Mini My wife and I went looking for a fun, two person convertible. We walked into the Mini store of Monrovia and saw a John Cooper Works Convertible Mini that was just what we were looking for. Great room for a big guy 6'1 270. Great shape, certified pre-owned and a nice car. Salesman Sam H. walked us through the car and we walked away. Did a little research, called back up and asked if we could do the deal in a couple of hours on Sunday evening. We did in just over 2 hours and thought the service, attention and people were great. Would have been faster except finance is always one at a time but Rose was great and got us through quickly. We noticed a bulb out on Monday and I came back on Wednesday and they actually fixed the one we saw and two others so we are set. Service was friendly, quick and I got in and out in two hours while having breakfast at IHOP. Very happy with the car and our experience. More
Maintenance staff short-handed? I have the extended maintenance package and take my car in only for scheduled maintenance. For this visit, the basically just needed an oil change, bu I have the extended maintenance package and take my car in only for scheduled maintenance. For this visit, the basically just needed an oil change, but it took three hours to get my car back while waiting for it. I arrived on time for my 7:00 a.m. appointment, thinking the early hour would get me out fast. I was wrong. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, but could not explain why it took three hours to perform the service. I understand the do diagnostics too. But THREE hours for what was essentially an oil change? They seem to be short-handed on mechanics. I recommend not waiting. Alternatively, eat at the nearby IHOP and shop at Staples and Best Buy while you wait. You'll still have to wait, but it won't feel as long as staying in the waiting area. More
