We are from Oklahoma City but were in Opelika visiting family when I noticed a bad fluid leak under my Dodge Durango. I drove it a short distance (6 miles) on to Opelika Ford, Chrysler, Jeep at 3:30 on F family when I noticed a bad fluid leak under my Dodge Durango. I drove it a short distance (6 miles) on to Opelika Ford, Chrysler, Jeep at 3:30 on Friday afternoon 14 Feb 2014. It sat at the Opelika dealer until Monday 17 Feb at 11:00 AM (yes, their service was open Saturday 15 Feb) when Opelika called and said their racks were all full and it would be 3-4 more days before they could even rack my car to look at it. I was astounded, and felt the 'unspoken" reason that they couldn't service my car was that they were busy with local customers and that I was an Okie with no future service value to that dealership. I then went to the internet, did a search on Dodge dealers in the local area and found Mike Patton Chrysler Dodge in LaGrange Ga, 35 miles from Opelika. I called Patton Dodge and spoke to Mark Pullen, the service Coordinator and explained my predicament - that I was from Oklahoma, had a fluid leak, was given the perceived run-around at another dealer, but was desperate to get my car looked at and serviced so I could get back home to Oklahoma to work. He said if I could get my Durango there on the afternoon of Monday 17 Feb 2014 they would guarantee it would be looked at that afternoon. After I had AAA tow my car from Opelika, it arrived at Patton Dodge by 2:30 PM, Mark called me back by 4:00 PM, said a technician had looked at it, confirmed there was a busted hose, it would have to be ordered from Atlanta, but they would have it installed the next morning. By 11:00 AM Tuesday I received a call from Mark that my Durango was ready to be picked up. The difference in service attitude between these two dealers was striking to me. To any Dodge owner within a 50 miles radius of Mike Patton, I would encourage you to take advantage of Patton's customer service. It seems their help isn't reserved only to those who might be a return customer or future buyer! Great job Mike Patton Dodge and especially to Mark Pullen. More

My family's experience with Mike Patton Auto Sales was fantastic! From the "no pressure" and "no haggle" policy to the incredible customer service, our experience has been a pure pleasure. Our sales was fantastic! From the "no pressure" and "no haggle" policy to the incredible customer service, our experience has been a pure pleasure. Our salesman, Brian Pritchard, could not have been more helpful and kind to us. Instead of trying to manipulate the process, Brian sought to help us make an informed decision. His kindness to us was so evident throughout the process that we specifically made a second needed visit at a time when we knew he would be there. When we had questions or concerns, Brian went the "second mile" to address each one. We could not have asked for a better salesman. While he is a promoter of the dealership for which he works, we always felt he was just as much a promoter of our best interests! In addition, Bryan Peek (finance manager) and Chris Child (sales manager) were extremely nice and helpful to us in in all our dealings with them. Thank you Mike Patton Auto Sales! More

Background: My wife had a 2005 Dodge Neon, bought new and quickly falling apart. After 128k miles, it was on its last leg, so a probable pre-owned replacement was needed and imminently necessary. We began by quickly falling apart. After 128k miles, it was on its last leg, so a probable pre-owned replacement was needed and imminently necessary. We began by surfing mikepattonhonda.com to see what their inventory had. We also had a predisposition to look closely at a Jeep product.....my wish since 8 years old, etc....and found a 2012 Jeep at a price we thought was a good start. Initial experience: I met with Mark Brady on a Friday lunch hour and took a 15 minute spin in the Jeep (previously 24 month-leased Compass). The vehicle looked good, Mark was affable and straight-forward about the vehicle (provided a history report promptly) He also was no-nonsense about my lunch time crunch....so all went well...report to the missus was, looks good, your turn to look it over. Pre-Second visit: On Saturday, we reviewed the website again and picked 3 vehicles to check out. The 2012 Jeep Compass, a 2012 Kia Sorento and a 2012 Honda Civic (her idea). We called the insurance company to check on the potential impact to the premium and also got a 5.2% financing approval that exceeded our desired price point so financing was off the table (or so we thought). Second visit: Called Mark, set up an appointment and hit the dealership. Mark was (again) very personable and attentive (ALSO very busy juggling multiple deals on a cold Saturday mid-day). We drove the Jeep and got a ho-hum :okay, it's a nice suv reaction. Then we asked for the 2012 Sorento. Mark brought up a 2011 Sorento with All the whistles and bells. So before we knew it, we drove it. GREAT SUV....Garmin! Buttons galore! Steering will controls! Siri wouldn't admit that she loved me but okay. BUT!!!! It was not what we asked for...quite an accidental teaser. So we got back and asked for the 2012 Sorento. Got in it and took a spin, Soild vehicle, Not as fancy but neither are we and with the $4k and 1 year difference, It was what we were looking for. The Deal: Told Mark to forget the Civic...Let's close on the 2012 Sorento.....Let him know we had financing covered and wanted to close and roll. By now we are at the 2.5 hour point. About ready to button this one up. Mark heads to the finance guy to set up the closing and comes back with a counter...Can we significantly beat your financing? So we said, go for it....In 20 minutes, Mark said yes they can and let's close the deal. The Closer....After a 30 minute cooling period (or whatever the reason) we head to the Closer. Bryan Peek, finance guy, says he can give us 3.79% plus runs us through the OPTIONS. I get "up-selling" but these were a bit much (more me ready to get done than off-the-mark options). We picked 1 out of 5 and it bumped our payment $9. Closing was a pile of paper, sign here and here and here and here and we are done. Overall Impression: Mike Patton (Mark and Bryan) earned our business the right way - professional, fair, courteous and personable. I like the no-hassle pricing (btw, it checked out in off-axis retail/wholesale references). We got a fair price for the trade, the paperwork was as tolerable as it CAN be. The "we beat your financing" deal was a pleasant surprise. And lastly, total time 4.5 hours.....average and wholly unimpressive but 4.5 hours seems to be the national norm for the past 30 years I know of.... Overall recommendation: Get in your hooptie, rust bucket or 2 year old very nice lease....Go see Mark Brady, the Bonny Scotsman, Shop their inventory, Do your homework and Let Mike Patton sell you your next new car...we did and will again. 4.999999 STAR EXPERIENCE (I'm hard-nosed about the time thing). Thanks for listening,,,Thanks Mike Patton. More

I tried to deal with other Chrysler dealers in the Atlanta area; but Mike Patton representatives (Sidney, Chris, and Brian) worked to get my business. The other dealers didn't even bother to call me Atlanta area; but Mike Patton representatives (Sidney, Chris, and Brian) worked to get my business. The other dealers didn't even bother to call me back. But your folks talked to me and gave me the information I requested. When I had a question that Sidney didn't know the answer, he said "Let me check on that and I'll call you back in 10 minutes." He did. I love working with a dealer that respects me and works to keep my business. I went to the Post Office the other day and talked to a gentleman that asked me about my new car. I told him to call Mike Patton in LaGrange and deal with you! More
I had a great sales experience. I started by shopping on their website which was very detailed and had plenty of pictures of the vehicle. I submitted an email for assistance and was immediately contacted by their website which was very detailed and had plenty of pictures of the vehicle. I submitted an email for assistance and was immediately contacted by Marcus Jefferson. I was unable to speak about the vehicle via phone so Marcus began texting. Honestly, about 95% of the entire deal was done via text message. We agreed on prices etc and I told him that I was unsure of when I could come view the vehicle as I live 190 miles from the dealership. He informed me that they could deliver the vehicle and if I liked it, they would drive my trade-in back. I was really shocked. I got home from work and ten minutes later the vehicle arrived. I inspected and test drove it. I had one small issue with it and spoke to the dealership manager who assured me it would be resolved. Overall, Marcus was great! Very knowledgeable, courteous, honest and helpful. I would recommend Mike Patton Auto Family to everyone and will go to them first on my next purchase. Great job guys! More
