Aug 29th 2024. I came in for a warranty service. I had oil leaking into my spark plugs. They replaced the valve cover gasket, no issue. They, the service departme I came in for a warranty service. They, the service department, didn't bother to take another look or inspect anything further than the gasket itself. They should've replaced the sparkplugs since they were full of oil, as my personal mechanic advised. I bought my chevy sonic about a year and a half ago and had issues with it. They do warranty work when it needs to be done, don't get me wrong. BUT ONLY IF THE VEHICLE HAS A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT OR IF YOU GET AN INSPECTION PRIOR, which i did. Seems as the service department only does the bare minimum. I would imagine that if they are charging over 60$ for an oil change they would check the car and inspect any further issues. I am disappointed because despite changing managers I am still receiving inadequate customer service. The "service advisors" reply with I don't know frequently. The sales department in the other hand is always friendly and professional. The issues are with service department. They refuse to do any preventative maintenance. They are NOT looking at your vehicles the way you'd expect. I had an issue with a previous manager, Marcus, that may had left a bad experience. But I do not see much improvement. I'd be more than glad to talk to a manager if you want to hear more. But like I said the service department is "mid" at best. Definitely encourage customers to look into smaller businesses as they will treat you with more dignity and actually care about you and the vehicle. More

On 11/18/2021 our vehicle was with your service department at 96,515 miles. During this visit, the Service Technician completed the combustion cleaner service in accordance with Kia warranty policy and procedures. You stated, "Finnin Kia never saw this vehicle again until September of 2022, 10 months later and with 103,882 miles." You have neglected to check your phone log as I was in contact with the service department continuously during these months. On a monthly and that toward the end a weekly basis. The service department advised me not to add oil, just continue to check the oil with the dipstick and watch for the oil light. The service department knew throughout the 10 months, my concern with the depletion of oil and advised me on such. Linda Snitker More
I love my Kia vehicle! So much so that my husband and daughter now own Kia vehicles of their own! However, the treatment that I have received from Finnin Kia has been extremely disappointing through the years. At 97,000 miles, my Kia began burning oil. I reached out to the Finnin service department, they assured me that they would follow up with my car being so close to the 100,000 mile warranty. They did anything but follow up. I was instructed to continue checking my oil level weekly and regularly communicated my concern. My Kia continued to lose oil and when I took it in at 103,000 miles (after changing the oil at 100,000 miles) with the oil so low it was not measuring on the dipstick, l left my vehicle and waited five days to hear back. I called and was scolded for calling. I waited another two weeks and then initiated another phone call as Finnin waited to hear back from corporate on how they would proceed. I was told that a phone call and message was made a week prior to my husband’s phone. This was a complete fabrication. There was no empathy! Absolutely no missed call, voicemail, or message was made! There was no apology! There was no compassion! I cannot fathom having a vehicle for three weeks without doing any work on it and not saying sorry about the inconvenience or outcome! I am speechless! I was just told that the warranty had expired and nothing would be done! I purchased my vehicle and serviced it there for years hoping to maintain a positive working relationship. I chose to buy local and as a result was treated in a dismissive manner and with a complete lack of integrity by the individuals that work there. I have purchased many vehicles in the past and have never been treated in the condescending way that I have been at Finnin. I will never purchase another vehicle nor use their service department in any capacity. More
Jon and Markus made a very crummy day into a pleasant day. While traveling from Wisconsin to South Dakota our 2016 KIA Sorento had an engine failure. Those two men bent over backwards to get us set up wi day. While traveling from Wisconsin to South Dakota our 2016 KIA Sorento had an engine failure. Those two men bent over backwards to get us set up with a loaner and had us back on the road. We were taking our granddaughter for a college campus visit in South Dakota. We were able to meet all of her schedules. We were fortunate that our vehicle engine problems were covered by extended warranty for parts and labor. I can’t say enough about how well we were taken care of and made to feel like we were the only customer that mattered. Thank You Finnin KIA. More

Car arrived on Monday we picked it up on Tuesday. Everything was ready to go. She took time to go over the car and answered any questions we had. Keri even messaged me after hours to tell me about the headlights and messaged me this morning asking how our drive home was. I would highly recommend Keri for your next purchase.
