Very Happy Used car dealers get a bum rap in general - some deserve it, most don't - the Midgette people don't for sure - what they promised over the phone to us Used car dealers get a bum rap in general - some deserve it, most don't - the Midgette people don't for sure - what they promised over the phone to us was what they delivered in person - as far as the quality, looks, & reliability of a 2011 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4 they had - as soon as we saw it, we knew we wanted that truck- and then after we drove it, we knew for sure!! As always, there has to be some give & take between the buyer & seller to reach a figure that both sides are ok with - that requires patience, courtesy AND honesty from both parties. They presented their side with all of that, plus the facts, figures, and buying guides to show why their bottom-line price was justified. They didn't pressure us, try to BS us - they just gave us the facts & then let us decide from that. All in all, we found them to be up front & honest. We had a minor issue - the CD player didn't work - and they were willing to come down on the price to offset our cost to replace it. It's little things like that that makes us want to buy from them in the future. We live 200 miles & 3+ hours away, and when we drove our new, [well. it's new to us], truck home - we cruised at 60-65 most of the way - and the truck was a total joy to drive - solid, smooth, quiet - this is by far the best used vehicle we have ever bought. Brennan was such a nice guy to deal with - honest, friendly, patient, professional, as was Marc. I highly recommend them & their business for all the reasons above. More

Beware We purchased a vehicle from Midgette auto last July and ever since its been a complete nightmare dealing with this people. First, within 2 days of p We purchased a vehicle from Midgette auto last July and ever since its been a complete nightmare dealing with this people. First, within 2 days of purchasing the car the engine light came on. We brought it in and they said nothing was wrong. Then, we took the car for the 'free oil' change and guess what? The car started running funny and making noises, come to find out they put an after market filter and oil was spilling everywhere...complete fail. We also purchased a warranty which was $3,000 they claimed the warranty would be honored by any ASE certified sevice dealership and guess what? Its not true. I spoke directly to the warranty and they clearly said I have to take it back to Midgette auto in order for them to honor the warranty. Not very honest people. Steve, the service guy is rude and acts like 'you' the customer is the problem. He couldn't even acknowledge the fact that the filter was not placed correctly. Well, let me tell you something I spent $15,000 and I feel like I deserve much better customer service than that. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone!!! Do your research and don't trust the 4.8 rating they have.. Is a joke! Lesson learned. *I initially gave them a bad review back in July and then I changed it to a positive one because they seemed to be little more helpful but after the warranty deal I am back to a negative review.... Jeff Hollon started working with me on where I was on prices and needs. We took one for a test drive. I was interested but didn't really stop to buy just look. My purchase was really gonna depend on the interest rate. Bottom line folks is I stopped to look I drove away in something way way better then I had. I feel comfortable with my payments and purchase. The process was smooth. My ride is pretty sweet now. I really really like this truck and Jeff Hollon and the rest of the midgette auto team took care of me for my new purchase. fyi if you have a heavy foot don't buy a xxxx hemi...lol More
