How can you justify good customer service when the run around is so prevalent. I wanted a oil change in November but the COVID excuse can into play, I called again in December but appointments were full till January so I thought I would go in and try again in person. I walked into the service department where not one but four men were at their desks. I waited a full minutes until one noted me standing there and once O explained I wish a oil change he started talking about 25K check and 35K check and and I said I only wanted a oil change nothing else. Then he told me to go next door. The four man room has always been where I went of get service but to be courteous I went next door. There they said they did not do oil change scheduling and to go next door i said I had been there and she told me to call Kim at a number she gave me. (Like I am to have a phone on me.) Lucky I did have me wife's phone a called a number that said Kim was not there to schedule appointment. I can only understand you do not want my business and I will buy and get service from Ford that is where one of your best service clerks went to.

We do remember you and are very sorry for the horrible experience. We wanted to clarify a few things and definitely, it was a lack of communication. Some of it on our part as well. Your truck was towed here Friday afternoon, the 26th of April. Along with a diagnosis from an independent repair shop. That diagnosis stated the motor could be bad, due to metal found in the fuel system. We had not looked at your vehicle, because your signature was needed to authorize us proceeding with a diagnosis. You came into the Dealership on Saturday, April 27th (your Service Writer, Chuck was off for the weekend and we do not staff the necessary mechanics on Saturdays, oil and lube techs only). You asked for the worst case scenario, if in fact the metal was throughout the engine. If metal was found in the motor, it have been deemed no good. Again, we never diagnosed your truck, we gave you a worst case scenario and may be where the miscommunication began. We apologize if somewhere within that conversation you felt we had looked at your truck. As mentioned above, your truck didn't arrive until Friday afternoon and you had not given written consent for us to inspect your truck. Which we thought your reason for visiting the Dealership on Saturday, to sign your consent paperwork. Thereafter, you decided to place a deposit on another truck. Monday morning, Chuck called you for your signature so we may begin the diagnosis. Our Sales Staff are not mechanics and wouldn't offer a diagnosis, but they can offer their opinions if metal was found throughout the engine. So if something was lost within translation? We will strive to do better when answering questions. Thank you for your feedback.
